Title: snow plow

I have a lead on a snow plow from a 2A. It is a hydraulic pump unit driven on the motor. A simple riase and lower.

How difficult is it to adapt the pump from the L to the F head motor?

Does anyone have any pictures of the sytem on an F head?

well i don't know much on the subject, i would say that if you could get a screamin deal on the plow i would go for it. but personally i would rather have an electric over hydraulic plow, for one with the engine driven unit it will be harder to install and remove. but on the other hand i don't want to discourage you because it could be something designed just for jeep or a special order jeep item. so i will remain neutral, so good luck and happy jeepin :)

Yeah I have used the eletric version in the past and would prefer that if I was setting it up for normal snow plow duty. For this jeep it would mostly be for show and occasional use.

if it's like most of the units I've seen it's a hi-lo pump that mounts on top of the generator...not really a big deal to switch them out.

yes its a high low unit.

just wondered if they mount in the same location on the F head and if they use the sam brackets etc..
