Just got a nice batch of Jeep Service and Parts News in a neat binder labeled "Jeep Service and Parts News 1965". Evidentially they issued these binders each year to keep the individual months organized. I see a note in one of the issues that they did this for a few years previous to 1965. Anyway I now have all 1962 issues including the Index, (Always in Dec. issue), all 1963 issues including Index, lacking Nov. 1964, but have all others including Index, lacking Dec. 1965 and 1965 Index. Now, the search is on for missing issues and more of these binders. The Nov. 1963 issue identifies a couple things. First, exactly what 8201, 8202, 8203, and 8204 Dispatcher Model Numbers meant. Second, this might tell us approximately when this numbering system was put into production. I need to go back to what earlier issues I have to find what missing issues I need. I know I have several duplicates also starting in 1955 to 1965.
In the Ebay deal I also got a neat 1953 Mechanics Manual Model CJ3B Universal and Farm Jeep. This manual is especially descriptive of those special attachments and equipment for the Farm Jeeps.
Also in the same deal was "Preliminary Parts List Model DJ3A" issued Sept. 1955, 40 Pages. I have the regular 1956 DJ3A Parts List also.
