Title: Where do you live
Description: matching the post to the area

I know that different parts of the U.S. and even other parts of the world that 3B's exist in and are used to drive off road have different requirements for the build, but when a post is made it would be nice to know where the post person is located so references to the kind of use their 3B is built for would help with some of the replys to the poster.
It must have been a real challenge for the engineers back in the 1940's to design a vehicle that they did for almost everywhere in the world, and suceed in coming up with what we have as a very reliable utility vehicle that all of us are rebuilding or restoring for what ever purpose we think it will do for us. And thanx to "oldtime" for his knowledge and posts.
What a deal, could it be done today?

Yes, as oldtime has asked many times, please put at least your state in your profile so people can easily tell if you're from their part of the country (or the world).
We don't really need to know your town, just the state so we can get some perspective on distance.

Please put at least your state in your profile.
Thanks.

Dick,
You got that right.
I think the standard NDT's is a prime example of the problem.
They are an exceptionally great rock tire but nearly worthless in the sand.

O. K. I'll say it again.

Pearland, Texas; (we border the huge City of Houston on their southeast city limits, but we are in a totally different county).

Speaking of huge, when I bought land here in this then still small agricutural town and built my home back in '74, the population was around 6,700 residents and there was less than 100 businesses. Today the population, including the ETJ, has well over 100,000 residents and as I understand, somewhere in the neighborhood of 3500 businesses.
