Finished it up with the 1" super lift and new tires. I am happy with how it turns out. I will see how it wheels this weekend.

Mike,
Those small Swampers are a perfect fit.
An excellent offroad tire for Jeeps with 15" rims.
What's the actual inflated tire diameter ?
Did you pattern test the tires for optimum running pressure ?

Thanks.

Its actually a Besttop. I was thinking about a canvas miltary style, but when I checked on the price, I decide I like the one I have just fine.

What an awesome jeep! Perfect stance with that 1" lift and those tires on the black rims look really sharp!

TREAD REGISTER TESTING

A tread register test is performed to determine the optimum running pressure of any particular tire mounted on any vehicle.
By optimum running pressure I specifically mean the ideal air pressure needed to run a particular tire on pavement.
The optimum running pressure is the normal tire pressure for your vehicle with a typical load.

Perform test with a typical load.
Place the vehicle on a smooth and flat concrete surface.
Air all 4 tires to the estimated correct PSI for road use.
28 PSI is a good starting pressure for common Jeep tires.
Thoroughly wet (not dripping) a good portion the outer tread on both a front and a rear tires.
If the tires have developed a flat spot from sitting wet the other side !
Manually roll the jeep foreward to make a wet tire print.
If the center tread registers without the side tread registering the pressure is too high.
Reduce tire PSI just enough to cause the complete tread to register.
I like to start high and reduce all four tires in 2 PSI increments.
An accurate digital pressure guage is handy.
Repeat the wet and register cycle till you get the PSI just right.

As you know when vehicle loads go up, the required tire pressure goes up.
When tire size goes up the pressure generally needs to go down.
The rim width chosen will effect the results.
A narrow rim usually requires less pressure and a wide rim will accept more pressure.
A narrow rim and wide tire combination will require a lower pressure than a narrow tire on the correct width rim.

Nice looking 3B
Please tell me what kinds wheelin' are you going to do with this 3B?
I do not know what part of the U.S. you are in, so can not evaluate your 4 wheelin' experiences with you jeep.
I do know though that any flat fender jeep is capable of almost any terrain.
What I know is what is in the Northwest part of the U. S. and some of it is very challenging.
Just keep the rubber on the ground and you will be fine.
Again a very nice looking 3B.
