Be sure to mark The Great Willys Picnic on your calendar now. This show/swap has grown into the largest Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Willys specific event!!

Less than a month to go!!! The show is going to be bigger and better this year. We are also having more awards. In addition to the "normal" best of show awards we will have "project" and "most original" categories. There will also be random door prize drawings for anyone who brings a Willys. Bring whatever you have, even if it's not done yet!

Im local to this years picnic. If anyone is interested, Im headed to breakfast in Kutztown, Pa prior to the event. Its a really small diner, but all good and 15 min south of Kempton. Well, maybe 25 in a 3B.
Going along with what Bob W. said, if anyone has any other questions about the area, shoot me a message. Anyone else local? Dave |

What a Great Willys Picnic we had this year. Many thanks to Seth King and his entire family for making this year's Picnic the best ever! The sky was blue and the sun was shining on 65 registered vehicles plus many parts vendors and tons of spectators. The Wanamaker, Kempton & Southern Railroad was the perfect venue for our Willys Show and Swap. I spoke with enthusiasts from Maine to North Carolina to South Africa and many places in between. Hopefully everyone had a chance to take the train ride and see the Schuykill & Lehigh Model Railroad Club's HO model train display. We also had two different Willys PTO driven buzz saw demonstrations during the day. Near the end of the day trophies were awarded in seven different categories to Jeep owners. One lucky person went away with $56.00 from the 50/50 drawing. Many random drawing door prizes were given out to the vehicle owners. After the awards we did a Willys Cruise around the beautiful Pennsylvania countryside. We are planning to have the next Willys Picnic on Sunday June 9, 2013 at the same location.
Special thanks to this year's sponsors. Walcks 4WD – Gift certificates and “TightSteer” tensioners Hanson Mechanical Restorations – Contest trophies Slot Grill Classic Calendars – Holy Toledo Calendars JB's Jeeps – Dash plaques Terry Fairchild – Steering wheel puller Spring Midwest Willys Reunion – Tee shirts and baseball cap Jackdor Films – DVD OK4WD – Advertising Check out some photos on the Picnic's website here... www.cj3a.info/picnic -------------------- Bob W
