Personally, I like Alan Jackson's "Drive." Don't know how famous it is, but the last verse is:
"It was just an old worn out Jeep Rusty old floorboard, hot on my feet A young girl two hands on the wheel I can't replace the way it made me feel And he'd say, "turn it left and steer it right, Straighten up girl, you're doing just fine" Just a little valley by the river where we'd ride But I was high on a mountain When daddy let me drive" I'm sure there is a youtube clip, but I can't access it now on the work computer. Speaking of work.... gotta go! "DRIVE" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8ftrR4e0wI -------------------- 1963 CJ3B - F134 Hurricane, T-90C, D-18, 5.38s, Overdrive, 938YF, 12V alternator

Being from Newnan, Ga home of Alan Jackson, I have to vote for drive. But would like to hear the M. Murphy tune.

Okay, got another. The song doesn't mention Jeeps or Willys at all, but I know that many of us have gotten some MUD ON THE TIRES - Brad Paisley.
A jeep does make an appearance in the video somewhere around 2:40, but it's not a Willys.... -------------------- 1963 CJ3B - F134 Hurricane, T-90C, D-18, 5.38s, Overdrive, 938YF, 12V alternator

Dang Oldtime, It was a full 15 seconds after he finished singing before the meaning of the song sunk in! I'm sure glad I had finished my coffee.... [QUOTE] -------------------- Don Norris
