this is my adventure toward's getting my B on the road. i had her all mocked up last year without brakes. I've always wanted a high hood but never had one. so i decided to collect parts until i had enough to build my own! with any luck by fall i will have the maiden voyage in her, if money and time holds out. so here she is

starting the B project with my cj5 organ donor.

So when are you going to get that Wagon up and running?
Looks like when you're all done, you'll have a fleet 2A, 3B, Wagon.
What else do you have off in the weeds there?

the wagon, the little jeep and the gravely are my dad's toys. we have a lot of floor board fabrication to do on the wagon. we epoxy primed her the year before last to save the roof. i have a few bucket list projects, 63 willys pickup , 68 mustang ,48 jeepster,79 cj5, 79 bronco (currently a driver) i usually tinker between all of them. and oldtime, mowing is nowhere near as much fun as working on my jeep tongue.gif

and she is finally all back together, still can't figure out the legs on the windshield frame, they appear to be bent incorrectly.

I spent almost all of my vacation working on my B, and i finally got to take her for a ride through the neighborhood. tranny, transfer, overdrive, and the brakes were a success. lights, seatbelts, gas tank, tires, and a few more trinkets and i will be able to get plates and drive it to work...........and lots more body work to come! biggrin.gif

Looks like your moving right along! Yeah the window frame arms should be more at a 45 degree angle. What kind of seats are those? They look pretty good in there.

thanks, the seats are bestop classic low backs. i think i am going to weld legs off of a junk low hood windshield frame. it appears that someone at some point in time had intentionally bent the legs on my w/s frame, i just can't think of any reason why someone would do such a thing? smile.gif

Two comments, one, I hope those are not your painted toenails in the photo of the painted grill! Two, yes, your windshield legs are bent at a very odd angle.

And the windshield pivot points have been moved way down to accommodate the bend. It'll be interesting to see how the windshield lays down on the hood once you get that far.

those are my girlfriend's toes, i paint mine blue lol. i moved the pivot brackets down so i could use the frame, and the windshield will not fold down with the hood on. with the hood off, the back of the frame is about 1/2" above the carb when folded down. i can't wait to fix it because i love driving with the windshield down.

Bob I suggest that you move your W/S pivot brackets back up where they belong.
Heat the radius of the lower W/S tube and re-bend them.

When the W/S is correctly positioned it should measure exactly 66-1/2".
Take all measurements 6" inward from the sides.
Measure the diagonal distance from inner tub at rear to inner W/S frame at top.
