Has anyone seen the new Stainless Steel 3B Bodies in person? I am still working on my rolling chassi, but thinking about all the body work I need to do on my existing body from MN. Living in the rust belt, the thought of a stainless steel body is very tempting. I am not sure of the difficulty in fitting one of these bodies to my frame.
Thoughts as I am just thinking ahead. Thanks RVS -------------------- Vance Swisher

There are currently a couple of Stainless 3B's on EWillys.
The full stainless bodies look great yet they can be painted if you don't like the glare. If your not concerned with building back to stock standard then I highly recommend stainless bodies if you are able to do some stainless fabrication. Most work is relatively minor such as locating the tub mounting holes, the tailights. the instrumentation etc. The transmission tunnel area is typically left open to allow for use of various drivetrains. This is where fabrication and stainless welding skills are required. Also there is no tool box as under the passenger seat. -------------------- 1953 TRANS-VINTAGE CJ-3B / AC 4693 fuel pump / YF 938 SD / Hurricane / 9-1/4" Auburn clutch / T90-C / 2.46 ratio D-18 / Warn O.D. / 5.375 final drive / Powr Lok Front + Rear / Dualmatic drive flanges / deluxe Koenig half cab / 12 volt generator
