I doubt that would be the case. I can't imagine why they would release an American movie in Australia first.

The TV spot on the Sahara site says 8 April. Anybody know if that is the truth?
Well, The Sahara Movie site says April 8th..... so who ya gonna believe?

April 8th is the US nationwide releasedate.
BUT: Monday April 4 is the Los Angeles premiere of SAHARA
IMDb also says it opens in Thailand on April 6th. That wouldn't surprise me. Anyone who's been there knows how pirated DVDs are sold in every corner. If they are going to get any income in the cinemas, they can't wait two months or everybody has already seen it.
