Title: An oops in Skeleton Coast

I finished reading Skeleton Coast which I greatly enjoyed. But there was an "oops"
on page 337 -- at least in my copy. The scene is which Juan and Julia are waking Merrick to get some vital information and they need to use a stimulant because of his condition. It reads--" The needle seemed impossibly long. She speared the area between two of Singer's ribs and loaded the drug into the heart.

It should have read Merrick's ribs as he was the one on the table. I am sure it was just a typographical error, which I hope the proper influences get this message and correct it at the publishers -- if they haven't already.

I'd be a "singer" if a long needle was speared in between my ribs!

Good pick up, mate. th:

I picked up another "ooops" in Skeleton Coast. It might be already posted else where but i haven't seen it.

In page 163, when Cabrillo and Sloane are escorting Reardon to the airplane, it is mentioned that if "everything went according to plan the big Swede was en route with their Gulfstream IV". But in page 186, Cabrillo asks if Tiny (a.k.a. big Swede) has reached Swakopmund with our Citation.

This isn't mistake but just "interesting" observation. I don't remember who answered the phone and said Fly by Night airline but it instantly reminded me about MacGyver. Fly by Night was Jack Dalton's airline in couple episodes of that show.

My 2 cents worth on The Skeleton Coast. Loved the cover by the way. Great action story with lots of special ops. Very descriptive writing, made you feel you were there. Only criticism was that it was all action and not adventure. Very little discovering of ancient temple type thing just all "shoot em up."
