Welcome to the forum and follow Oswalder's advice and enjoy the journey. You will be finished reading them soon and be wanting to read more. I finished reading all the Dirk Pitt books a couple of months ago after reading them in order starting two years ago. Now I am bummed because I want to read more.

Thank you all for the warm welcome and help. I found Clive Cussler about 5 years ago,and my fist book of his I read was Iceberg. I've found a few others along the way and am now down to wanting to read them all in the order they came out.
I look foward to each book that comes out and hope there will be many more!

Sincerely, Dot

I have another question if someone can help.

1. Who came first Dirk & Summer Cussler or Dirk Pitt & Summer Moran?

2. And what is the " Code "?

Thanks, Dot

Mostly Heep - March 13, 2008 10:17 PM (GMT)
Dirk Pitt and Summer Moran came first...........kinda like the egg came before the chicken(I think)

The *code* is a revealing look at the secrets of early Cussler and Pitt written by 2 members of this very forum ;)

Thanks for the reply and info.

I see that the "CODE" hardcovers are sold out,are there still any softcovers available?

Thanks, Dot

DirkPitt - March 14, 2008 04:55 AM (GMT)
Yes, there are copies still available ;

And Mostly Heep is keeping quiet about his own invaluable contributions to the creation of the "Code" ;)

If you order a copy, Dot, make sure you've read Pacific Vortex. The Code will shed a whole new light onto Clive's first book.

Hi Dirk Pitt,

Thank you for the link to "The Code" book. I've ordered a copy and can't wait to start reading it once it arrives!
