Just about 4 months away from the 4th Annual Clive Cussler Convention sponosred by the Clive Cussler Collectors Society. This year the convention is being held in Denver, Colorado - city of the inagural event.

Lots of great, fun activities will go on - but rather than me try to summarize that - here is the link to the convention page on the society's web site.

PS: This year will include the crowning of the winner of the Adventure Writers Competition - the Clive Cussler Award.

Our Career Fair is schedule for Friday October 3rd so I once again won't be able to go. Grr. I think I have something else going on that weekend this year too, though. As usual I will have to live vicariously through the pictures and stories of everyone else. Have fun everyone!

Hey all, sorry I haven't been around in like, FOREVER! I almost don't have any time for myself anymore. The older these kids get, the busier I get.

Day 1 1/2 at the 2008 Clive Cussler Convention!!!! SOOO much has happened since I got here yesterday afternoon it's CRAZY!!! Where to begin...hmmm....I'll start with the airport.

So i'm walking along not knowing where i'm going in the Denver airport. I'm looking at my baggage ticket thingy and not paying attention to were i'm going. Yeah, I TOTALLY run into someone and when I look up............IT'S MICHELLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! I pretty much attacked her after i was done appologizing. So we stay together from then on..(or rather I follow her around) and we both catch the shuttle to the hotel together.

While we're chatting on the ride there, I start texting Liz. Well, one thing leads to another and I come to find out that..............LIZ IS AT THE HOTEL WAITING FOR US!!!!!!!!!! SHE'S HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I totally flipped! I'm SOOOOO happy! Everyone's amazing here! I can't believe i thought i was gonne have a lousy time...even if liz and Michelle didn't go. So we had the kick off dinner at a WONDERFUL Italian ALL YOU CAN EAT buffet and just had a great time. We had camera flash wars and everything...so I really didn't get any decent pictures that would get my into some SERIOUS trouble if I posted (Pete did though, he was taking them like a pro, hehe, i camera flashed him REAL good though)..but today I'm gonna start fresh and take good pictures like a CARZY woman!

So I gotta get ready, but I'll update as SOON as I can!

Yes ma'am I did. I checked her "last activity" status and it's still at Dec. 2007....stinker! AND she doesn't have a computer with her. AND she doesn't even know how to get into the computer lab. I did my research........I still think it's sean! I know I said no more pictures until I find out who the informent is......but something tells me i'm never gonna find out....soooooo..........
