Some of you have probably already seen this mentioned on Facebook.

I'm highlighting a different "guest author" on my website. Some of them will definitely be in the Cussler vein. Stop by and check out Craig Smith.

Featuring pulp author Barry Reese this week (and next). Watch for a Cussler cameo.

This week I'm featuring a Q&A with forum member and author David Wood, talking about his new historical adventure, INTO THE WOODS.

Oops, forgot to mention that I've updated the Guest Author page. Click any of the previously mentioned links to see the latest. This time out, it's Paul Byers who has written a World War II era"might have been" thriller about a Nazi jet attack on New York. Byers cites...you guessed it...Clive Cussler as one of his influences.

Also, the Megalith blog has posted it's Meg Awards for the best thrillers of the year. Not only did Clive and Co. make the list of top ten for the decade, but forum friend Dave Wood won the "Best Comeback Award" for his second Dane Maddock adventure, and I got honorable mention for something or other. I'm sure that was in no small part due to the support I got from the forum members during the May Smackdown. Thanks again.

Got a new one for you all. Steven Savile, author of numerous tie-ins is releasing a new thriller that's already being favorably compared to Dan Brown. I think it's better personally.

Check out my Q & A with Steve: http://seanellisthrillers.webs.com/guestauthors.htm

Thanks for the mention, Sean. Haven't checked the forums in a while. Also, congrats on your new book deal for Dodge Dalton!
