	Tom's Restaurant: Dirk Pitt mentions that a restaurant in Plaquemines Parish named Tom's has excellent oysters on the half-shell, especially with Tom's mama's special chili pepper juice. Deep Six (68) Clive Cussler mentions eating at a restaurant called Tom's in the town of Buras. Serves gulf oysters with a chili-vinegar sauce made by Tom's mom. 	Arvor III The last time Captain Jimmy Flett and Dirk Pitt trod a deck and drank scotch together was back in 1988 on the Arvor III. They were searching for the Bonhomme Richard, but didn't find it. Valhalla Rising (49) Clive Cussler charters the Arvor III for his second expedition to find the Bonhomme Richard. The skipper's name - Jimmy Flett. And they didn't find it. 	Calliope: the small fast attack craft Pitt, Gunn, and Giordino have to scuttle in the Niger River in Sahara. HMS Calliope: Last British 'C Class' armoured cruiser built around the turn of the century. Coincidentally, that class of cruisers was a 19th century equivelent of Cussler's invention, sleek, fast, armoured, and packing a lot of firepower.
