Good morning!

I would not change the cast (of Sahara) at all. Maybe they portrayed the characters different, but I liked the chemistry.
I am quite alone with that choice, I know, but I would not replace anyone...

I think Al Gordino should actually be played by an actor who is more original and keeping to the appearance in the books. In Sahara, I didn't like the actor who played him. Gordino is actually hispanic. So you should get a credible actor to play him and keep it right, and of course he has to be short and punchy. How about John Leguizamo as Gordino. He could pull off the jokes as well as the guy himself. Just my own thought, what do you think?

And keep MM as Dirk Pitt, but change the actor playing Sandecker. I don't think the movie went very well because the guys who played Sandecker and Gunn didn't actually take the part or work it the way they were portrayed in the books. Not sure what anyone else thinks but those are my opinions. Love the idea of David Caruso as Sandecker and Joe Mantegna as Rudi Gunn, what you think?

David Caruso is a good pick for Admiral Sandecker but he would have to gain some weight and have a bit of Gray hair and a beard to boot. MM to play Dirk. Can't think of anyone else for the other characters.
