| Life has gotten in the way of visiting here but I'm happy to report my reading for my website has been going well and I've even managed to squeeze in some Berry reading and finally started the McDermott Wilde/Chase series after finding a mass market PB copy of The Hunt For Atlantis. McDermott is still churning them out so I'm a long way behind.
Atlantis was quite enjoyable. Only finished it last night. Good fun. Have read Berry's The Charlemagne Pursuit as well but was slightly disappointed with it. Didn't grab me as much as the others but it developed Cotton Malone further in that he had some closure.
The Emperor's Tomb has been added to the shelf and I'm intrigued to see how his new book The Jefferson Key goes as it looks a good one.
Quite dismayed to see the next lot of Cussler books coming out. Haven't even bought the last tranche yet!

Steve Berry - Alexandria link think what book? Should I Buy? A friend of mine told me that the book is very good, but it is still a few people would ask.
Thank you for the answers to!

Steve Berry and James Rollins came through Phoenix together on a book tour. It was very easy to tell that those guys are close friends. Love both of their work. Excited for the new eBook Berry is doing.

| There was something on Berry's website about James Rollins saving him from drowning in a pool in Fiji. Interesting.
Picked up a small format PB of The Paris Vendetta on Friday and the same again for McDermott's The Cult Of Osiris. While waiting for my wife to do some clothes shopping I, somewhat absent-mindedly, started reading Osiris. By the time she was finished I was 30 pages in and hooked. Have grabbed a bit of time here and there - haven't had the chance to sit down for an afternoon etc - and am well over 100 pages in. Most enjoyable despite breaking my rule of reading series' in order ... but then my first ever Clive Cussler was Dragonand that's not exactly the first Dirk Pitt!
Definitely another favourite author.

|Currently reading the Venetian Betrayal after finishing templar legacy, the Charlemagne pursuit, Paris Vendetta, and the Alexandria Link. Loved them all so far. Got to meet him when he was touring with James Rollins, look forward to reading his books for years to come.|

| Berry's books keep coming with The Emperor's Tomb being the next to be released. I've still only read the second and third (of six, IIRC) Cotton Malone's but I'd have to say I'm a fan with #1 and 4 sitting on the shelf.

| I went out of order and read the Venetian Betryal first. I loved it.
Ill be on the lookout for the others.

| I am happy to report my wife - who is well-read Cussler/DP-wise in that she is up to Atlantis Found - has started Berry's The Templar Legacy.

| Don't think I've heard of him but thank you!

| I dipped into Chris K.'s first book, the plantation. It struck me as a little amateurish, but then it was his breakout book. Maybe his newer titles will be a little more polished (Like I should throw stones).
If it's not already too late, let me save you some money--avoid David Gibbins. eesh.
