	ok,....here we go (this is various books..not just Sahara) Dirk- Unknown Actor.. Al- a very young Dean Stockwell (Quantum Leap) that's EXACTLY who I picture as Al. Hiram- Tommy Chong Sandecker- William H Macy seems to me like a perfect candidate Eva- (not far enough into the book to comment) Gunn- The guy who played Dr Romano on ER These two jsut because I thought this when I read the books: Loren- Nicole Kidman or Naomi Watts or Angie Harmon w/ dyed hair Hala- The girl from ER & Bend it Like Beckham

	Karo, I believe that character from the lone gunman in x files is also perfect!!! His facial features are almost identicle(sp) to that described by CC. as for Gunn a good idea might be John Cusiac. I know that his teenie bop movies are pretty bad but his thin face and soft voice might do well

	David Caruso could be a good Sandecker but I think Macy will do fine also. As for Hiram Yeager, since I saw the X-files, each time I read about Hiram I see the one with the long hair from the Lone Gunmen, in my mind. Rudi Gunn I always picture as a geek with thick glasses but a super personality. Perhaps Jeff Daniels as he played in Dumb and Dumber ? Karo
