If they did, then I really don't want to see it.

	Inca Gold would make a great movie!!! It was the first novel I read oF CC's and I was hooked.

	The primary hype is that Dr. Cussler didn't get the final say in the matter. Compiled with all the legal action that followed, there's no wonder why they refused to attend. Clive's bitterness towards "Raise the Titanic" trickles into this situation. All we can hope for is that the movie is well recieved, enjoyable, and sparks enough interest in Clive's other works that Hollywood heavy hitters will clamber over each other for the next best adaptation. Heck, I heard that Morgan Freeman wanted to make "Inca Gold" with every inch of his being. We all know that Hollywood is out of ideas. With the recient rehashing of old TV shows to movies ("Charlies' Angels," "Starsky and Hutch," and now "Dukes of Hazzard,") we can see that they NEED something new and fresh. Hopefully, this does it. Because Afleck as Jack Ryan wasn't it.

	As far as I'm concerned if we want to support Clive we need to make this movie a huge success! I don't know all the details about the lawsuit or really why his "people" didn't attend, but I think if this movie flops then it'll be worse for him than if it's a success and isn't 100% true to the book.

	Well in one way it seems promising, but when you have Clive's people staying away, then I have great concerns. I want to stay loyal to Clive, I'm sure we all do, but its awful tempting too go when it does come out. I do believe we all may have a tough call here!!!!

	It's great to have all this information. When I talk to my friends about the movie they're like "How do you know that already?" "The movie's finished?" And then the grand finaly... "YOU"VE SEEN THE TRAILER?!?!?!"
