1914. The Hill Valley Dam was touted as an Economic Boon and would bring a new age of technical wonders. The steel train tracks over the narrow valley just outside of the small city were to be the framework for the new dam. Construction of the new dam brought many men and their families to Hill Valley and the town grew by just over 1,000 men and their families. When the dam was completed in 1919 it was indeed a sight to be seen. The new lake brought many recreational and business opportunities. Hill Valley boomed indeed as the 1920s started. In 1976, a strange man came to town wanting to buy up a lot of the old buildings where many a company had been located but had moved out of town because a highway was built over twenty miles away in the 1960s. In the spring of 1977 many storms occurred and soon the dam was barely holding the waters back. On May 24, 1977 the dam gave way and the waters flowed through the valley and came out onto the flatland where most of the town was located. Many died in the flood while others who had the foresight had moved out quickly in anticipation. Later in June as the water had subsided and efforts to rebuild the town were foundering until the strange man came back and promised to help in the reconstruction if he was allowed to buy up the area where the lake had been. July 1, 1977 the mayor of the town, Raymond Flory signed a contract to sell the valley in return for the wealthy Tony Starke to help the town in it's rebuilding. July 4, 1977. Four young boys from town were running and playing around in the valley where the lake had been when they came upon the remains of a ghost town. Tony Starke came walking out of a cave near the ghost town, walking over train tracks that ran into the cave. When the boys saw Tony Starke they hightailed it back to town.

The town was rebuilt, but strange things began to happen. A strange facility went up that was heavily guarded and the town folk were careful to stay away or risk being shot. Nobody knew what to make of this, and Stark refused to answer any questions on the subject. The facility grew in size at a phenomenal rate.

1977. Inside the large facility was the world's largest laboratory for scientific investigation. Tony Starke was hiring scientists and engineers to work on the many projects that will be started. Everything from Oceanography to Space Exploration to Invisibility Cloaks were being organized. The first project started was moving things through solid objects. This was started by Tony Starke himself because of his discovery of a train inside the old mining cave that was located near the ghost town. After the waters had receded the small river that had flowed through the narrow valley was now following it's old path. The townsfolk enjoyed having the small river and only the older folks remembered the old days when the lake behind the dam had brought many a recreational and business opportunities. After the first two months of operation the guards disappeared and an elaborate security system was installed.

Starke brought the old train to the facility and had it restored. It became the symbol of the new company. "From old to new" became the slogan. Many areas made a lot of progress, but to Starke's frustration the area he really wanted to see progress in, moving objects through solid things, failed to show much progress. Starke sent out word to all the best engineers and scientists that he would give a large amount of money to anyone who could manage to solve the problem. Many answered, but those who went failed to return again.

Onboard the train, a satchel was found that had papers concerning a famous shipwreck. Tony Starke was amazed at the revelations about the shipwreck and the people involved.

Starke sat in silence as he read and re-read the papers in his hand, not quite beleiving his eyes.
"No wonder nobody's ever made any inroads into this technology" He said to himself."The answers in over 15,000 feet of water in the Atlantic"He shook his head and reached for the phone.
"Olin" Said the voice on the other end.
Starke sat up straighter."Jake.Good to hear your voice again.I need your help"
"Oh God! not you again Tony.I thought this number was unregistered.Time to fire another secretary."
Tony laughed."In the twenty years we've known each other Olin you've never once been nice to me,I don't know why I put up with you?"
"Because I'm the best Starke, thats why. What can I do for you this time"
"I need a submersible capable of reaching 15,000 feet and they support ship to go with it"
"Ok.Can I ask why?"
"I need to dive The Bismarck. It has something I need"Starke replied quietly

"The Bismarck?" repeated Olin in disbelief. "Why?"
"Long story that I'll explain when we meet. Can you do it?" Starke asked anxiously, his eyes locked on the papers in his hand.
"Can I do it? Can a fish swim? Of course I can do it," Olin scoffed. "But this isn't going to be a walk through any park. We'll need a high tech submersible and more people to help with the dive. I can't make a dive like that alone."
"I'll front the money. Get what you need. This is important," Starke told hm.
Olin looked at an old picture on the wall. "This might not work, but I have an old friend at NUMA. Maybe he'll help out. I'll call you back and let you know what's going on here."
Olin picked up the phone and dialed a familar number.

November 1977. Rudi answered the phone and recognized Olin's voice. After listening for a few minutes, Rudi replied. "I can get you a submersible from Scripps in La Jolla, California that is just perfect for the dive you describe. I will contact them for you and set it up. Good to hear from you, Olin".

Gunn also asked Kurt Austin and Joe Zavala to help with the dive. Olin would meet them and the submersible on a ship that would be waiting over the wreck.
Olin got back on the phone with Starke. "We're set up. How about an explanation now?"
Starke replied, "You know that project I've been working on?"
"The one that has you half crazed? Of course I do," Olin answered.
"Well, I've found the answer," Starke said.

March 1978. "Welcome aboard the Maiden Princess, Mr. Starke, if you like we could give you a tour of the ship" said Captain Fernando Zale. Kurt and Joe were looking askance at the men behind Tony Starke. "I have brought some men that have been hired by my company with the necessary skills of manning the submersible over the shipwrecked Bismarck". Kurt replied, "Well, I guess we can sit this one out and if necessary act as seconds". Tony Starke and the two men walked by and followed the captain to their rooms aboard the ship.

Hatfield and Borden entered the submersible and closed the hatch behind them. The Submersible was lowered into the water. The submersible slid beneath the waters and took her slow but steady dive to 15,000 feet beneath the sea. Once they came on the Bismarck they turned on the Cameras so those aboard the ship could watch. As the submersible surveyed the entire wreck, everyone on board the ship watched. A hole was found in the side of the sunken ship. A small robotic ROV entered the sunken ship. Slowly but steadily the ROV made it's way through the ship and only had to use the robotic arms to move some small debris to keep going. Finally, the ROV came upon a storage room and Hatfield used a remote laser cutter that was on the ROV to gain entrance to the storage room. Once the door had been removed the ROV entered and found a trunk sized container that had symbols on the cover. The ROV used it's maneuverable arms to pick up the container and slowly but surely worked it's way back through the ship and out the opening. The ROV then reattached itself to the submersible and the combined machinery steadily made it's way back to the surface. Halfway towards the surface the magnetic coil for the generator lost it's power. The Submersible was stuck. Kurt and Joe went to work immediately to get the submersible back to the surface with another smaller but powerful submersible and a long cord from the ship and dove down and had to get close in without colliding the two submersibles. Joe got into a pressurized dive suit to close the gap with the cord and attaching the two submersibles. Quickly getting back into the smaller submersible, Joe took off the dive suit and then finally both submersibles worked their way back to the surface.

Once the container was onboard the Maiden Princess, Tony Starke and his men grabbed it and kept it in a well guarded room aboard the ship. Captain Fernando Zale was informed to make his way back to the United States quickly. Five days later the Maiden Princess arrived in the port city of Jacksonville, Florida. Tony Starke, the container and his men were first off the ship and left quickly in a caravan of specially built SUV's.
