Hey all,
A change of Topic me thinks (& hopefully a way of getting rid of NK).... As i was totally up to date with all of Mr C's books & without a new author to keep me occupied at the moment i thought I'd go back to the early days & re-read the books in chronological order. I've noticed some weird "Fiction becoming fact" moments in Mr C's books recently... Civil war & political struggle in Egypt as Mr C wrote in 'Treasure' in 1988, The rise of China as a political & economic superpower as written in 'Dragon' in 1990. Can you all think of any more?? |

The Titanic was found as written in Titanic.

In his 1978 book, Vixen 03, Cussler wrote about the battleship IOWA being pulled out of mothballs. Years later in 1985 when surveying the York River for a shipwreck, Cussler was thrilled to see the IOWA sail past. He never thought they would reactivate the ship.
