I know I haven't been on in a while but Junior year has got a hold of me lol...

Untitled

Those emotions can get a hold on you, what you ask:
What's a girl to do.
Do you run and hide rather than coincide with him,
or do you wish that you were nowhere near him.
Do you act on emotion or crumble in fear of what could be,
Maybe you should not think of it lightly.
Will he humiliate you or will he love you,
knowing your history probably humiliate due to your attitude.
You finally get up the courage,
You walk over in triumph; yet you leave in defeat.
You go home through the park that day,
taking of your shoes to let your feet become unafraid.
You losen yourself up and take the time to walk in strides,
then you let all your emotions go, falling to the ground, then moving toward the sky.

That's pretty damn good, Amanda, thanks for sharing! Very emotion-filled, to say the least.

Great poem. I never could write poetry. I admire all those creative and brave enough to do so.
