July 4, 2076. Tony Sandecker, at the age of 113 years old was still in good shape to walk to the beach on Morgan Island. A beautiful day and a calm Ocean soothed the old man's mind. Relaxed, he sat down. After a while he had nodded off and awoke when he sensed something was amiss. Tony opened his eyes and found that the water had disappeared for miles around. It struck Tony that a Tsunami was coming and knowing it would be impossible to outrun it, Tony accepted his fate and knew that his first love, the Ocean was coming for him. And indeed it was as a dark wall of water appeared on the horizon. As it roared towards the old man, he spotted what appeared to be a ship atop the crest of the Tsunami. Finally when the Tsunami neared the beach at about 125 feet tall, Tony just barely made out the name of the ship, Durand. And then the Tsunami roared onto the island claiming Tony Sandecker. Within a blink of an eye Tony felt his body smashed and his spirit floated free and flew with the water and then the water disappeared and before him appeared the stars of the Universe. A spaceship approached, he felt himself drawn inside and stared at the man who looked like a younger version of himself. "Welcome aboard the Tsunami, my spaceship". Tony felt himself becoming one with the younger man and felt alive again.

President Lyman Pitt picked up his phone in the private office just off the Oval Office. "Mr. President, It is urgent you come to the Cabinet Room right away" says Forrest DeMars. President Pitt walks through the Oval Office and opens the Door to the Cabinet room and finds a group of people waiting for him at the long time. His National Security Adviser, Forrest DeMars, NUMA Director, Walter Rudolph Gunn, NOAA Director, Stephen Severinson. President Pitt slowly sat down in his chair at the head of the long table. "President Pitt, we were warned three days before the Tsunami struck at Morgan Island that the United States would feel the power of the Oceans by one Professor Pelagian, who said he had the power to cause the ocean to strike wherever he pleases. Unfortunately, he had addressed the media and it was not taken seriously until the Tsunami struck. With what we have learned, there was no natural cause for that Tsunami" said NUMA Director, Walter Gunn. "Having searched our records in our computer systems at NUMA, we have learned that Professor Pelagian was lost at sea and presumed drowned back in the late 1940s. This man cannot be Professor Pelagian, obviously. Our records do reveal that the original Professor Pelagian was an Oceanographer from the late 1920s until his disappearance. It is our strong belief that this Tsunami could very well have been man-made because there was no natural causation anywhere in the area where it would have originated from. It is our collective belief that if this Professor Pelagian strikes again, it will be far worse. Having gone over previous such Oceanic disturbances, we have learned that this man, indeed had contacted the media and made his predictions. I am of the opinion that we find out what this Professor Pelagian wants before he causes anymore damage".

Late 1940s. At a meeting of the minds sometime after World War 2, St. Julien Perlmutter, Hiram Yaeger Sr., Hyman Rickover, Walter Pelagian, James Sandecker, Frederick Moran and Harriman Nelson had all assembled at a nondescript building in Santa Barbara, California, atop a cliff that overlooked the ocean. Harriman Nelson begins the meeting by announcing that he has organized the Nelson Institute of Marine Rsearch in Santa Barbara and with Hyman Rickover overseeing the Nuclear program for the Navy, Harriman was going to oversee the development of a nuclear powered submarine dedicated to Oceanographic purposes. It was laid out by Harriman that with all the accumulated technological advances during the war, it was possible to build upon that foundation by advancing technology further with their combined skills in one collaborative program. Everyone agreed to join in the program. Later, at home, Frederick Moran was telling his son, Delphi of how far technological advances could go with the combined mental powers involved in the program. "Are you nuts, Dad! Have you forgotten how many generations of our family has sought Pandora's Box! Why do you think we are the leaders of the Black Ops Brethren, if we are not to hold in our hands the ultimate power of magic, Pandora's Box! I don't care about our scientific and engineering contributions that we have made in the building of this nation. We are now the first World Power and we could add to that by taking the ultimate magical power that the other Atlantean descendants have hidden away from us. They think just because they are the magi race of the Atlanteans that we, the true builders of scientific, engineering technology that we have contributed to the Minoan, Egyptian, Greek, Roman, English and now American civilizations that we are not deserving of those magical powers. They do not trust us with it, Father! I, for one, will not contribute much to this program". In a heated conversation later with Walter Pelagian, Delphi had accidentally killed the man when Walter had accused him of slacking in his participation in the program. Delphi found in the dead man's pocket notes on a time travel project that he did not know about and started to do some digging and had indeed found that Hiram Yaeger Sr. had been involved in the Philadelphia Experiment during World War 2, and has developed it further along than expected with some success. It took a few years for Delphi to learn all about it and develop a plan of revenge against Harriman Nelson. Delphi had finally managed to take the Time Travel machine and simply erased the memory and accomplishments of Harriman Nelson and sending the man back in time to the original Atlantean era. However, his actions had many unintended consequences. Without Harriman Nelson and his N.I.M.R. to affect history, it would be another man, James Sandecker, who would go on to found NUMA in 1975. Another unintended consequence was Harriman Nelson's influence on the careers of JFK, LBJ, Nixon, Ford, Carter and George Bush as these Navy men would eventually become Presidents. With NUMA, Delphi Moran would face his ultimate enemy, Dirk Pitt. And before Delphi died, he would learn that he was going to be a grandfather.

2077. Vice-President Mason Broadbent, sits at his desk in his office on the grounds of the Naval Observatory, looking out the window and brooding over being kept in the dark about serious National Affairs when the phone rings, he picks up the phone and his secretary tells him Edwin Sharpe would like to see him. The Vice-President assents and watches Edwin Sharpe come into his office. He waves Edwin to have a seat. "I would like to give you a general idea of what was said in the meeting I had with President Pitt and Secretary of State Montgomery, Mr. Vice-President. A certain individual is arousing the eastern european leaders against the encroachments of Russia and they are threatening to go to war with Russia. Now if this happens, we could very well have another World War on our hands". "Thank you, Edwin, I appreciate your telling me this but did the President tell you to come here?". "No, I offered the President that you deserved to have a general idea of what is happening'. "Thank you again, Edwin". "Your Welcome, Mr. Vice President". "Did your father ever tell you that he and I had met back in the late 2030s when I was the Secretary of State. If it had not been for your father's help in my running for President in 2052, I would not be here today. Unfortunately, I lost to James L. Montgomery. Somehow, James and I are still alive and serving under President Pitt today". "Yes, my father has told me about those days when he held some influence over many political careers". 'you are a very decent young man, Edwin, despite the type of man Greg Sharpe was. I recall him telling me that the better man had won that election despite his support of me. He told me that James had a great-great-great-great grandfather in the Civil War, one George Montgomery. And that the following descendants of that General had stellar careers of their own. Ah, you don't want me going on about such old matters, do you?". "That's quite alright, Mr. Vice-President, it is not as if I had already heard it about my own family history and their accomplishments from my father. But I must be leaving, take care Mr. Vice-President".

2077. President Lyman Pitt is sitting in his private office just off the Oval Office going over some papers when his National Security Adviser, Forrest DeMars walks into the office and coughs. "What is it, Forrest?" asks the President. "You remember when I briefed you on the Fabrizian matter over a week ago? Well, the name rang familiar to me and I checked out Fergus Fabrizian's family history and learned that it was his father, Braden Fabrizian, who was responsible for the destruction of the Omega Group and the deaths of my Father and Uncle, Mr. President". "Are you saying that this Fergus Fabrizian may be more dangerous than you already informed me?". "Possibly, Mr. President".

2037. Thurston Leverington the Fifth was going through his mail while sitting at his desk when he picks up an envelope mailed to him from Greg Sharpe. He opens it and finds himself looking at the history and experience of one Justin Kirkland who obviously has the experience to pilot Thunderwolf. After the recent retirement of Giada DeLorenzano as the pilot of Thunderwolf for many years, it would be to the advantage of Intelligence and Military operations to continue the Thunderwolf program. Thunderwolf had definitely come to the rescue on several occasions during the recent World War. Giada DeLorenzano had exhausted herself and opted to retire after the war had ended. In a second packet was the history and experience of one Mitch Conrad, an experienced soldier from the Army Corp of Engineers who could meet any challenge and tackle it with strength and intelligence. "Looks like I have a new Thunderwolf team" mutters Thurston as he sits back in his chair, relieved.

2077. Aboard the submarine as it made it's way into the Black Sea sat Fergus Fabrizian at the captain's station. Pleased with himself at using his father's inheritance for the acquisition of the submarine and having developed the technology from the scientists in his employ, it was easy to threaten any country that has a coastline and now that he was near Russia, he just may reignite another World War. Fergus had not set out on this path if it had not been for the betrayal of Russia at it's treatment of the son of one of their heroes. Now it was time to strike at Russia and involve Eastern Europe in a conflict with the motherland. Fergus rests his hand on the lever that will trigger a Tsunami that will destroy Odessa in a matter of minutes. Counting down in his mind, he pushes the lever and watches as an UAV flies overhead and films the building Tsunami as it rolls towards Odessa. The Tsunami rises in height and reaches it's peak just over a mile from the Russian port city of Odessa. The Tsunami strikes with such force that it destroys buildings, automobiles and everything in it's path.

Forrest DeMars strides into the Oval Office and President Pitt looks up and see's the look on his National Security Advisor's face. "Something's happened, right?". "Yes, I just heard that Odessa has been destroyed by Dr. Pelagian". "That does it, we need to stop this madman and now!!!" exclaims the President. "Mr. President, um, I just had a thought and I hope that I am wrong". "Well spit it out, Man!!" "I think this Dr. Pelagian is Fergus Fabrizian". "^%$^#@#@" Exclaims the President.

2046. Thurston Leverington the Fifth watched the sky over Elmendorf Air Force Base awaiting the arrival of Thunderwolf. Finally, he spotted a dark smudge just above the horizon and watched it come into full view in just 20 seconds, amazed at her speed. Thunderwolf alighted in front of him on the tarmac. While the blades slowed, a passenger exited from the rear door. The silver haired Ambassador, James Montgomery approached Thurston and they shook hands. "Thank you for having me rescued from that Russian dictator, Arno Drakkenzel, Mr. Leverington. If it were not for the trade offered by President Marsters offered up to Drakkenzel for me I probably would be dead within a year or two. Now, if we can get back to the Capital quickly I would be much obliged".

2077. Vice President Mason Broadbent was enjoying a scotch while relaxing in hs den, recalling his great-grandmother, Emily Devereaux-Broadbent and how she had told him stories of herself when he was a child. He was 6 years old when she passed away in 2019 at the age of 102. He was the youngest Secretary of State when he was confirmed by the U.S. Senate back in 2037, serving under President Roberta McCallister. It was as Secretary of State when he accomplished many great things despite the deal that he had made with Greg Sharpe. The deal was to obtain the details of Thunderwolf's technology and through Greg Sharpe, the technology was handed over to Arno Drakkenzel, the President of Russia. Thankfully, Thurston Leverington the Fifth, the Director of the IADC learned about his deal and gave Mason an opportuntiy to make up for it by botching up the transfer of the killer satellite technology by allowing Thunderwolf to fly to the site of the transfer and destroy the killer satellite. Mason was not proud of himself but knew in his heart that his Daggat forbears would have understood. After all, he was a Daggat. His Great-Grandmother, Emily Devereaux-Broadbent was so ashamed of her lineage that she had changed her name.

2037. Along the Chinese-Russian border, the truck that carried the Killer Satellite from Greg Sharpe was being transferred into the hands of the Russians. Just after the Satellite was placed inside the Russian truck, Thunderwolf screamed down over the dirt road after staying hidden by the sunlight and fired two missiles into the Russian truck and strafed the ground around the trucks, killing many of the men involved. One of the men was 16 year old Fergus Fabrizian who lay on the ground with a minor wound. this was Fergus' first attempt to make money by selling the satellite to the Russian government. Fergus was furious at the botched effort in his first attempt to become a major player. Fergus swore that nothing like this would ever happen again.
