hi all
One of my family friends gave me a HMAS Sydney (mark II) legacy coin, Its way cool cos its a bronze coin (bronze finish) with a picture of the ship on it. Legacy is the support organisation for families who have lost a service person so the money goes to a good cause. Yay me!!! What kind of coins or memorial badges do have/collect? |

Cool, PLB. Looks like it'll be in general circulation so I'll certainly keep my first one as well!

I have two commemorative 'medals.' One was given to French soldiers who who helped construct the Maginot line - thought it was funny. Other one s cool from a ship lover point of view. It is a German medal given to the crew of the U-20 for sinking the Lusitania. Morbid but a historical piece nonetheless.
