Steve Berry and James Rollins came through Phoenix together on a book tour. It was very easy to tell that those guys are close friends. Love both of their work. Excited for the new eBook Berry is doing. |

Life has gotten in the way of visiting here but I'm happy to report my reading for my website has been going well and I've even managed to squeeze in some Berry reading and finally started the McDermott Wilde/Chase series after finding a mass market PB copy of The Hunt For Atlantis. McDermott is still churning them out so I'm a long way behind.
Atlantis was quite enjoyable. Only finished it last night. Good fun. Have read Berry's The Charlemagne Pursuit as well but was slightly disappointed with it. Didn't grab me as much as the others but it developed Cotton Malone further in that he had some closure. The Emperor's Tomb has been added to the shelf and I'm intrigued to see how his new book The Jefferson Key goes as it looks a good one. Quite dismayed to see the next lot of Cussler books coming out. Haven't even bought the last tranche yet! |
