Title: The Emo Thread
Description: Let's pretend it's SRS BZNSS

Newb - November 30, 2006 04:38 AM (GMT)
We have an angry thread, but what about when bad stuff happens and you just can't feel angry? So I made this thread as a place for people to cry on e-shoulders.

I'll start things off.

I just got friend'd :T_T:

LuppyLuptonium - November 30, 2006 04:47 AM (GMT)
Heh... I remember last time I got friended.... Screwed me up something good...It's just, fucking OW...

I'm not helping am I?

Listen up newb.... You can still get what we in the business call "the nookie" you just have to be more resiliant is all. Now If I were your age I would be saying something like don't give up or something hopeful like that, but I am not your age and I have faced experience. If a girl says she is not attracted to you, she is not... there arn't any ifs, ands, or buts about it... I reccomend staying friends but look elsewhere and learn to masterbate.... It is a skill that can save you someday if you are stuck in the cold jungles of dispair, or just want something salty for your french fries...

Am I helping atr least a little now?

MechaV - November 30, 2006 12:34 PM (GMT)
Um...

CRAWLING IN MY SKIN....*shot*

Drekal - November 30, 2006 01:02 PM (GMT)
This thread seems to be full of sorrow.

Gnarl - November 30, 2006 03:29 PM (GMT)
Wow, even this thread's title is ridiculously emo.

Newb - November 30, 2006 03:32 PM (GMT)
Then change the title with your modly might.

Yeah, I know you're an admin, but adminly might doesn't roll off the tongue well.

Gnarl - November 30, 2006 03:33 PM (GMT)
Can't do it until I get back. This account has no power.

Shadow776 - November 30, 2006 03:58 PM (GMT)
I too seem to be having issues with the ladies. <_<

Though in my case she's been slightly more enigmatic. Not saying specifically that she's not interested in me other than friendship in particular, though saying she's not interested in dating in general right now. Coming from her, I'm not sure if that's a euphemism or if she's just indecisive for the time being. Though I'm not getting my hopes up as much as I was before, I'm thinking of just waiting it out for a bit. Besides, it's not like I'm remotely interested in anyone else at the moment or something...

Gee, is there anything else people can be sad about here? I get the feeling this shall be rather repetitive. XD

mordain - November 30, 2006 06:36 PM (GMT)
Considering most people here are in their mid-teens to early twenties... no, we have little else to angst over. :P

Notty - November 30, 2006 06:46 PM (GMT)
Hey, no tongue smilies allowed in the cry thread! They're too happy! :P

...Oh wait.

Damn.

*flees*

Algasir - November 30, 2006 06:49 PM (GMT)
Yes, all :Ps should be replaced with /cuts. Starting after this post. >.>

There, my mockery is complete. I move to nuke the thread.

Okay, now the mockery is complete.

Red - November 30, 2006 07:13 PM (GMT)
I'm too poor for a nintendo wii, because I'd have to buy a new tv with it, and I just can't afford that kind of expense.

Algasir - November 30, 2006 07:22 PM (GMT)
Why would you need a new TV?

Red - November 30, 2006 07:24 PM (GMT)
because the system requires a 720 dpi hd television.

Algasir - November 30, 2006 07:27 PM (GMT)
...I have no idea what that means, but my friend hooked his Wii to the TV in my back bedroom (which is about as old as I am, mind you) and it worked with no problems.

ryu planeswalker - November 30, 2006 07:27 PM (GMT)
*wonders if his TV has that*

mordain - November 30, 2006 07:29 PM (GMT)
I think he's thinking of the PS3... that's the only one I've heard of that requires a hdtv...

Algasir - November 30, 2006 07:32 PM (GMT)
Okay, I *was* thinking of buying a PS3, but if I have to buy a new TV to play it...no.

Sorry, but $600 PS3+$70 dollar games+Whatever the cost of a TV with 720 dpi hd is=Not in Alg's budget AT ALL.

Hey, you know who makes some good tvs that meet that requirement?

Sony.

<_<

ryu planeswalker - November 30, 2006 07:42 PM (GMT)
I am not quite sure that is in NASA's budget.

Yeah...I dealt with it when they said they might not get any more Wiis till Christmas but it seems now whoever they get them from refuses to give them unless the pre-order customers want to buy 4 games and accessories with them.

Newb - December 1, 2006 01:02 AM (GMT)
...

The new title is amusing, but I think it discourages rather than encourages a friendly environment in which people can cry on shoulders.

LuppyLuptonium - December 1, 2006 01:06 AM (GMT)
I'm into watersports... thats like yellow teard from the groin.... and if anyonee has the right to cry in that situation it's your groin,,,,

I'm gonna go cry off some soda now...

MechaV - December 1, 2006 01:43 AM (GMT)
Loving the title change and subtitle by the way. I love you guys, but not in the way of the ancient Greeks.

Alphawolf55 - December 1, 2006 03:42 AM (GMT)
Newb if it makes you feel better, I asked out a girl for the first time last month, she told me she wouldn't answer until she knew if she could get better or not

Drekal - December 1, 2006 05:40 PM (GMT)
Yeah, you think you got it bad? I've never even asked a girl out. Ever. Crippling shyness and insecurity does that to a person.

...Hey, in reference to what Red said about needing a new TV for the Wii...What is required, pray tell, tv-wise?

Algasir - December 1, 2006 05:59 PM (GMT)
HEY! That's sounds like me!

Anyway, I don't think you need any special TV for the Wii. As I said before, my friend hooked his up to a TV that is as old as I am (it's been around as long as I remember, so it has to be at least 14-15 years old) and it worked perfectly.

Drekal - December 1, 2006 06:03 PM (GMT)
Whew. Yeah, thank goodness for that. I was worried there for a moment...

Alphawolf55 - December 1, 2006 09:05 PM (GMT)
My Wii works perfectly, on my ordinary Standard television.

femmesimonbelmont - December 2, 2006 12:24 AM (GMT)
Quite.

I have a fetish that burdens me with guilt that has festered and eaten at my insides for the last eight years. I am literally rather full of self-loathing, as it is my greatest fear that the instant I fail to tame myself with rebuke, I will become a horrible monster.

I have "photographic" evidence which backs this theory up.
