Seeing FF6 characters in story comics is a surreal experience.

Oh, and yay for Celes and Locke!

I can't count the number of times I've put something in an inventory slot only to have it vanish into a vortex never to be seen again. I feel your pain Sabin.

See, that's why you shouldn't have Relm use "Sketch".

I gotta agree with JD... willing to bet that Cyan doesn't actually remember his wedding...

.....

That is NOT a yeah worthy pun.

It took too long and there's no real focus on which word is punny.

Yeah, I enjoyed both of Cyrus's, but definitely preferred the second.

And yay, FF VI characters with dialogue!* ^__^ And they seem to have the right characterizations! Not that I was particularly worried about that from JayDee, but since I continue to be irked by Final Fighting Fantasy's sub-par portrayals despite not seeing it in years... Validating to see it done right.

* Backstage comics notwithstanding.

So happy to see the FF6 cast. I can't wait to see how Shadow/Clyde is portrayed. And I wonder if Cyan and Edward would have something in common to get angry about if they ever met up..?

Also can't wait for Edgar. I love Edgar.

Sam: Norm you look down, what's wrong?
Norm: New boss chewed me out. Said I "Lack enthusiasm".
Cliff: Well, is that true?
Norm: I, uh I dunno. Maybe. Who cares?

Yeah, um... about that.

Nexus aside, Shadow isn't exactly in a position to attend the wedding, any more than, say, General Leo is.

Did anyone else think of this as Celes said "I AM PERFECTLY CALM"?

I don't think Shadow is dead (unless Alex didn't wait for him on the floating continent).

That aside, I think the Sovereign's going to have a hard time getting to some of these characters.

Please do not "help" me by merging threads I make into the ridiculously large ones that seem like they have everything but the kitchen sink related to that topic.

No, I mean, Shadow dies at the end of the game.

He stays on Kefka's tower as it collapses. In at least one of the translations, his intent is very clear.

"Baram... It looks like I can finally stop running... Come and find me, all right?"

Wasn't Shadow seen in Nexus at one point?
