Short Bio - Timmy was a normal schoolboy who one day found a Zigzagoon half-dead on his way back home from school. He nursed it back to life and found that it decided to stick around after it got better. When he became old enough, he decided to become a trainer.

Since MFD said only one pokemon can pickup at a time, I'll just use the one zigzagoone, and so I wanna go in for the prize drawing.

Short Bio - Derek was never going to be a trainer, but once his brother, Dan turned thirteen and set on his journey, to much success, he decided to compete in the DPC. Normally, a family member would get a pokemon from the Safari Zone once they were thirteen, but Derek turned thirteen during the same family holiday to Johto that his brother secretly caught his first Pokemon and was allowed to catch a wild Phanpy.
Description because I feel like it: Black hair coming to his ears, a black t-shirt, and gray gloves. Normal, gray trousers and white trainers (Oh fine, pants and sneakers.), and glasses.

Edit: I expect to catch a Pinsir, Misdreavus, Seviper, Spoink, Machop, and Sandslash for counterparty goodness.

Actually I just thought if I'm making a brother to Dan, I might as well give him the counterpart to Dan's pet.

Oh, and MFD will probably want a hometown from you.


And since there's a bunch of places that we're probably not going to go unless we have to, may I assume that there is going to be some sort of overarching plot that forces each location to be visited at least once?


Oh, and if I win one of the three starters, I'll probably ask the other two winners if they want to travel together.

For those of you wondering how being a researcher works... I replace badges with some other way to keep track. Trainers will run into more trainers, and researchers will run into more wild pokemon.
