He's beaten around the bush for the SNES slogan twice, just slightly getting it wrong both times. Although, the one in the fourth panel is actually the second SNES slogan.
Maybe it's just really finicky or it might actually be looking for the "GameMasta's" slogan. --------------------  |

The Catch Phrase could deal with the "Gnat Attack"/"Coffee Break" mini game from paint.

Bob's the only character that's shown any loyalty to Alex, the only one who seemed to know what he was doing. Now, admittedly, he did start out dicking Alex around, but he did want to help him out more than anyone else I can think of. Everyone else I can think of made life worse for Alex or wanted to use him as part of their greater plan, but Bob seemed solely intent on helping him achieve his potential. As for being on the ball, rerading some earlier strips, there are some things he definitely wasn't aware of, but he was more on the ball than most. I don't know, Alex seems to speak of him in retrospect with fondness, and it's kinda clear that he's gonna have a big role. I'm just happy that the comic remembers that he exists. |

Also, yay Bob! (And if i understood well, Alex still can understand him even if he talks in Spanish, right? |

I don't think Alex knows Spanish as well as, say, a Spanish-speaking person, but he is smart enough to figure out the basic gist of what Bob's saying, and he probably knows a couple of words here and there.

It's possible Alex might go for his last plan, before Evil Otto interrupted. ... Wow, almost 10 years ago... Anyway. Yay, Bob is in the comic again! ^__^ And for what looks like it might be an extensive stretch. Haven't had that in around 500 comics. |
