Pokémon, No Bill Cosby impersonations, please

Right now, In Fire Red, I'm making a master file for when Pokemon diamond and pearl come out. thanks to a friend named gameshark, I have almost every pokemon in the game. see, I've played this game so many times, and had my file deleted so many times, I figured it would be fair if I cheated this one time. I had all the pokemon gs'd in at level 5, so its not too bad, I still have to work at leveling them up.

I use a team of Eevee evolutions, and one scyther. its kind of a challenge for me to try to beat the game with nothing but this team. I've run into a bit of a snag fighting the psychic gym, as my umbreon isn't as strong as I hoped he would be. (dark needs some better attacks.) I hope to have this save file finished before diamond and pearl hit the shelves.

(Q)_< Well I just started playing Emerald again (found it on a park bench, covered in dirt, with the casing chipped, works fine) And I pretty much just take the first 5 different pokemon I can catch and thats my team for the game.

By the way how many of you have bothered with the switch-out lvl with a a Magikarp? I could barely stand doing it for 3 lvls with the Ralts

I actually did that with the Ralts until it learned Confusion (which, strangely enough, rarely confuses anyone), but by the time I got the Magikarp, I just used the exp. gain item instead. (For those of you that don't know, you can get the exp. gain from the president when you do the two quests for him.)

(Q)_< And then when it gets confusion you find it doesnt work on Dark (Pochenas) and it would seem that not only does astonish affect Ralts but its super effective

In RBY and FR/LG, I *always* buy that Magikarp you get offered at Mt.Moon.

Sure, you can get them for free as soon as you hit Vermillion, but by then I already have a Gyarados.

As far as Astonish...well, it's a Ghost type attack, and Ghosts > Psychics.

If htey plan on making Dark-fighting-psychic the next starter trio, they need to fix dark. its a little on the weak side.

They aren't the next starter trio, the next starter trio was already revealed...

and dark types are good, so long as they learn Crunch.

Absol is going to be unstoppable in D/P if Bite is going to be a physical attack again...

Well, against psychics and ghosts anyway.

So is hitmonchan...who i always loved more than hitmonlee.

Normal types are gonna recive a big boost from Bite being pysical again.

I like the Electrabuzz evo. I've always like electrobuzz and mangnamite. they should be better in DP

Definatly. too bad they can't really add a step in between spearow and fearow. I don't really know where you can go with fearow being as big as he is. except maybe evolve into oh-ho.

My first instinct is to say trade + upgrade and turn it into a dual typed pokemon, my first thought is to Psychic to justify boosting its spec attack, to make its attack/special attack high enough to turn mirror move into a power attack.

hmmm.... that would be powerfull, but I'd rather Spearow-Fearow stay Purely flying. make it a flying powerhouse.

the types aren't important to me, I am more into "raise fearow's" special attack to make Mirror Move more usefull, I love those kind of moves.
