Hey all, more often than not JayDee cites his lack of work on the comic being due to his real-life job and the depression derived from it. That got me to thinking, how do we cure his alements so he doesn't give up on the comic all together?

If us regular fourmites got together (lets say 40 for a round number), and donated 5 bucks from our weekly paycheck (not alot), that adds up to $200 in JayDee's pocket, shaving lets say an hour off his work day or even a whole day off his week, giving him that much more time to work on the comic and enjoy his life.

I was just wondering how realistic this idea was, and any of your thoughts on it to help improve it?

I don't know if it would shave off an hour or a day off his work week. That would depend more on where he works, who his boss is, and how flexible his hours can be. The extra money could motivate him for a while, though.

Oooh, darn, I would probably donate, but lack of income kinda makes that unlikely.

...My brother might be persauded to, though. If not for his current obsession with building a huge anime collection.

Ok, somewhat related question, who would buy CSNES related merchandise, and what sort of things would you be interested in?

I would, but I don't know what I'd buy. A t-shirt and maybe a plushie of Chocobo Bob. You could sell t-shirt prints of certain scenes in the comic. Maybe an iron on hat logo with the Super Scope on it. Stuff like that.

I'm just shooting off ideas. I don't know how well they'd sell or what you could put on them though.

If the back of it has a picture of King Hippo with text under him "King Hippo had Bitch Tits." and the CSNES logo somwhere on there, then yes.

Agreed. It needs a picture of King Hippo.

And the CSNES logo.

Working also on a SoS one and adding King Hippo to the first shirt. Any thoughts or suggestions? (Not only on these, but ideas for more).

The only problem is they're too "busy" for the average t-shirt.

I probably will if I had a good and non-noticable way to donate would in 2007 *Don't want to explain to parents why a good sum of money is going to a web comic* but if I ever did it'd be at most like a 100 dollars.

I would donate, but I'd have to get a debit card or something first so its not likely in the immediate future.

I would donate an entire paycheck for that...minus the food money.
