This has the potential to be either the coolest or sketchiest topic out there.

My name is Carl Killian, I live durring the school year in Rhode Island and attend Roger Williams University in Bristol. I live about twenty minutes away from campus, and am about 45 minutes from the nearest airport, T.F. Green. I'm telling you all this because I consider you guys my friends, and I would really like to meet you all.

We often joke about having an "Alex Williams-con", but I doubt it's gonna happen in the near future given the comic's low (but loyal) fanbase. I guess this is in part coming from the "getting people to read Captain SNES" thread, or rather the having someone to have a face-to-face discussion aspect of it. The other part is I genuinely feel you folks are some of the coolest, most intellegent people out there, and I would be honored to have you folks spend a weekend at my place and chill.

What I propose is sometime durring either the Fall / Winter or Spring (durring my schools semester) you all drive or fly down Thursday mid-day. From there, we go to RWU where I show you my Alternative Entertainment Club and we have a showdown in some sort of a game tournament (Smash Bros, most likely). After that, we all go back to my place and spend the weekend together as I show you the sights around where I live, and go our seperate ways on Sunday. Ideally, I'd like to make this an annual thing, hosting it at different folk's places with me taking the first step (or I'll do it every year if no one else can).

You'd all stay at my place, I have plenty of free beds / couches / floorspace for sleeping bags. My home's fairly large, so it wouldn't be too cramped quarters either. Best of all, I'd be willing to pick up the tab for most of the food and likewise expenses.

So lemme know what you think of all this, and if at all possible when you'd like to do this.

I can talk to Neko about it but I am sure we can think of something.

I'd be up to it if it was realistic for me x_x Alack, it's probably not. I've got an 18 credit schedule in the fall and probably something similar in the spring. Plus, the drive from NM to RI would be really freaking long and I doubt I can afford the trip ._.;

Plus the idea of tiny little me staying at a GUY'S house on the other side of the country would give my dad a heart attack.

I would have, but automobiles and myself seem to be on opposing sides of a war. If you do it next year, I'm game.

I've already met four other members of CSNESF, I'll think about it.

Leaving state isn't an option now... but that is something that will be changing... I'm in Utah myself.
