Another Plane..., 2.0 Kickoff

It was a normal day. Well, as normal as normal is anymore, since the rifts began. People were going about their everyday business.

Ryu Planeswalker was in Australia, studying rifts, while his companion Neko waits in their Australian safehouse. The mage known as Notty was continuing his travels and studies. In Latveria, the country's ruler was meeting with two of his top commanders... and chef.

Then rifts opened. All over the world, strange rifts opened near select individuals... you. Normally, portals are static rifts. They need a force acting on them to transmit the object through, like someone trying to walk through. Or gravity. But these rifts actively pull you towards, and into them. As you are pulled through the threshold, everything goes black.

You come to in an odd room. You can't see the walls, but the floor is made of something that looks like stone but feels like flesh.

Trevor, Immolation, and Nefidean all find themselves together. Dark Hawk, Notty, and Ryu are in a room with each other. Cyrus, Neko, and Red Silvers wind up in the same room. Iyestorm, Algasir, and Newb are in a fourth room. Daniel Kainson, however, finds himself alone.

In the shadows around you, there are faintly glowing eyes.

Newb looked around himself, not recognizing either of the people with him, or his location. Cautiously, he reached into a side-satchel and pulled out a plastic container, and ate the carrot donut within, peering at the shadows to see what he could see with enhanced vision.

Notty maintains some level of composure as he's sucked into the strange rift. His fingers make their way to two of the blades on his belt, but he waivers, his curiosity overwhelming his sense of self-preservation....

When he awakens, he hops to his feet, keeping one hand on his belt, as he looks around. Seeing the two others in the room only heightens his sense of precaution.

"Well, this is new." He remarks, mostly to himself.

"Doooood..."

Algasir pulled himself up, a mop and bucket in his...fins.

"Where the fuck am I, dood?"

Placing the mop and bucket in his fanny pack (don't ask), he looked around and got his bearings. He noticed a guy eating...something, then squinting into the shadows. "You know, it's usually nice to sh-"

Then he noticed the eyes.

"What the fuck, dood? Where are we?"

Nefidean poked the floor a few times, either oblivious to everything else, or just completly facinated by what she had dubly named the bouncy squishy floor. She pokes it more and more wondering what would happen if she did it enough times, a child like giggel escapes each and every time she pokes. A small white cat watches nervously around the two of them sighing in abarrsment from the girl's habit.

"Seareana*!" The cat hisssed. "Now is not the time to be doing such things... I do not think we are alone."

The girl's red violet eyes blinked in oblivious cuirosity as she turned to the cat. "We're not... there's people over there, didn't you know that?" She said pointing towards the other two people.

The cat looked away and cleared her throat. "Yes... yes I did..."

Nefidean stood to her feet and waved at the two men. "Hi-oh!!"

"What the... It can't be!" Red says, getting over his intial disorientation. "I didn't open a Warp!"

He fiddles with the device on his arm a few times, but it doesn't seem to respond. "Great."

Then he realizes he's not alone. "Does anyone know what's going on here?"

The planeswalker looks around, refocusing his eyes to the dark before attempting to shift himself into the blind eternities and reappearing exactly where he was before

"Hmm there must be another Rift close, oh well not everything can be solved with My powers." a staff forming in his left hand as he disregards the eyes and the other captives

"Aiya, not so loud!" the dark-haired teenager, Trevor Gates, shot back, grasping his temples. "I have got the biggest gorram headache..."

Dark Hawk had manag to land on his head some how. DAMN this portal.

Righting himself up and dusting himself off he surveyed his surroundings and noticed the two people nearby.

"Did a rift open up in front of you two?" He asked in an even tone.

Before having a small conversation in his mind.

Hey...EXE why is there always glowing eyes?

"Yes, and quickly enough I did not sense the buildup of energies."

Ryu says tapping his staff on the floor

Nefi put her finger to her lips and gave a loud hiss. "Shhhh! He has a headache!" She said in a reather loud whisper.

The cat's tail flicked as she stared at the young girl, obviously not ammused. "I can hear you know."

"HE HAS A HEADACHE!" She shouted in a rather loud voice pointing towards the scrawny young man.

The cat hung her head. "I said I can hear. CAN... unlike some people."

Nefi giggled shyly, rubbing the back of her head.

Notty mostly ignores the two, in favor of looking around the room they were supposedly 'trapped' in.

He places a hand against the flesh-like floor. "Hm, this is odd..."

Ryu looks down at the floor and kneels down, pulling forth some black mana from his memories and presses his hand to the floor sending the pure killing energies into the flesh like material to see how it would be affected

The ringing in Trevor's head was second only to the jackhammer in the center of his brain.

"What I wouldn't give...for a prairie oyster right now..."

Dh reached inside his bag and put on his IMW and Flamethrower and went towards one of the eyes.

"Now Now....Who do we have here?"

Notty turns and looks at the green-robed individual. 'Another mage...? That's odd, I thought...'

"...I don't think that's a very good idea..." Notty mumbles.

"Well we must surmise our surroundings" Ryu says looking towards the eyes

"And its not like there is anything here truly dangerous, to me atleast."

Immolation groaned, pulling himself up to a decent sitting position.

"Ugh..."

Nefi looked around the black room of shadows. "Does any one know where we are? This isn't like going through the last time..." She said pulling out a pendent from inside her shirt.


After a few moments of stareing at the aqua jewel in the middel she sighed. "I think it's broken."

"We're in a void of some sorts, it doesn't suprise me." That cat said cleaning her paws for a moment before shaking her head in digust and putting her paw down.

Nefi began shaking the pendent by her ear and poking it a few times. "Nope... I'm pretty sure it's broken."

"I went through this before, it's interfeance."

"Look it's not even...." The color of the pendent changed from aqua to green. "Oh wait... yea.. it's interfearence."

"Where we are? This is..."

Trevor looked around for a minute.

"...Oh, this is just great. I have a hangover AND my beach is gone. What a load of..."
