Valter shakes his head at Brendan's announcement and begins the trek towards oldale town.

The video is fuzzy, and it's impossible to hear what's being said. What Rith can see, however, is what appears to be a two young boys, one with a beret, the other with messy yellow hair. Opposing them is a large blue and grey metallic looking dragon and a large pinkish-white dragon with long wings. An older looking man appears to be controlling them. Then another dragon appears, a black, ghostly-looking one, and suddenly three pixie looking Pokemon appears as well. Everyone in the area is sucked into the vortex the black ghost dragon creates, including the two people holding the camera. The camera appears to drop on the ground, and break. The video ends there. |

After having their Pokemon set the two trainers down, Mint and Ky recall their Pokemon and take off after Brendan and May.

The trainers, keeping up at a brisk run are very nearly to Oldale Town when...
"Oh no! Look out, everyone, it's another one of those black walls!" May screams. A wall of pure dark energy surrounds the trainers, trapping them inside! "...Something's not right here. This is almost as if...", Brendan starts, before his eyes widen, "Behind you!" he shouts. A pack of Shadow Pokemon are inside the dark barrier as well! They growl, menacingly.  Shade Mightyena wants to battle! |

May and Brendan shout warning where they can, to no avail.
The shadowy hounds easily overcome the trainers' weakened Pokemon. The Shade Poochyena and Mightyena take the blows like they're nothing, instantly regenerating any wounds caused. "Moritz, it's no good... Whatever Willtwo did to us...it's just sapped our strength completely, there's no way we can win..." Moritz's Espeon says as it struggles to stay standing. He looks around, seeing everyone else's Pokemon in a similarly bad way. "These are some of the weakest Pokemon you can find...How can the power of darkness be this powerful...? As his gaze settles on Moritz's unconscious Umbreon, a terrible idea comes to mind. He gulps. "Moritz? Do you...do you trust me? Do all of you...do you trust us? The Shade Mightyena seem less than impressed, and move to attack! Shade Mightyena wants to battle! |

The Shade Pokemon are absolutely no match for Shadow Espeon. He blasts through them with no hesitation or mercy. The Shade Poochyena and Mightyena disappear into the nothingness from whence they came.
After the battle ends, he looks around aggressively, looking for more enemies. The barrier fades. May is holding her mouth in shock, and Brendan is staring at Espeon with a uncertain look. |

Looking at Espeon, Tyler gives Moritz a long, knowing look. "Is that... what I think?"

Moritz wiped the tears from his eyes and recalled Espeon. He then turned around and smiled at everyone. "C-come on, guys. We need to hurry. We beat them, but who knows when they'll be back."
