Pokémon RP - Chapter 5BF SE, A New Frontier!

Chris signs up for Singles, entering with Mightyena, Rocky the Golem, and Pennywise the Magmortar.

Chris is showed behind the desk and led to an elevator. It takes him up to the second floor, where he meets with another trainer across the room.

Chris's Battle Tower challenge has begun!

"Maaah! I can't decide which one to choose first!"
"So exciting!"
"You've got plenty of time. Just pick any of them!"
"Mah... Crimson Deity... I pray to you to answer my plea... which should I pick?"
"ALL OF THEM!"
"I meant 'which one *first*"
"IT MATTERS NOT!"
"Mah! Princess, help me!"
"You need not ask us how to pick thine nose, Sir Heno."
"Maaah... Fine, I get it. I choose..." Heno closed his eyes and spun around. His pokemon helped."

"That one!"

Heno dizzily stumbled towards where he thought he wanted to go, and ended up at the battle pike.

Heno enters the Battle Pike, which may, itself, be just as imposing as the CRIMSON DEITY. That comes from being a building modeled after a giant snake.

The ramblings of nearby trainers fill the air as he enters the strange building, telling him all about the troubles and thrillers that can be met within the Pike. One group even talks as if the person who runs the place might be able to beat everyone in the lobby right now. Who knew?

Heno can register three Pokemon to accompany him within the Battle Pike.

Valter yawns, unsurprised. He didn't blink, even.

"So, what. Now that you've come out and said boo, you want a fight or something?

"Mah. Only three, rikie? Okay, who wants to come?"

THIS BUILDING IS SHAPED SOMEWHAT LIKE ME. I WANT IT. IT WOULD MAKE AN EXCELLENT TEMPLE. WIN IT FOR ME."
"I don't think it works like that, but I'll try. Win it for yourself though."
"Sure, I'll go with ya."
"Alright. One more."
"Let me go with you."
"Let me go with you!"
"I said it first."
"Aww...
"Maah... let's let Machop come. It's only fair. You got to fight in the tournament."
"Well... alright..."
"Yay."

Heno and his Pokemon are escorted into the inner chambers of the Battle Pike. A maid greets them.

"Welcome to the Battle Pike. This is the first room," she says. "Also, you can only use one Pokemon at a time. Just FYI. Oh yes...I feel the middle room might be okay..."

"Mah... one pokemon at a time, rikie?"
"Well, you usually go with me first."
"Alright. Skarmory! I'll start with you! You really need a name!"
"We'll think of something eventually."
"Mah. Middle room it is, then. Thanks, rikie!"

Heno enters the middle room and meets with another woman.

"Congratulations! You have entered the Healing Room!" she announces. "Oh, but your Pokemon are already at full health. How interesting. Everyone today has chosen the Healing Room on the first try."

Heno carries on to the other side, finding another three doors and a maid. She nods to him.

"Welcome to the second room," she says. "I sense something moving in the middle room..."

"Mah, I'm just going where people tell me to..."
"It might be best to decide for yourself..."
"I like the middle room. It seems... better, somehow."
"You're picking up some of Sunburst's habits..."

Heno went into the middle room again.

Tyler heads to the Battle Pyramid!

As Heno enters the middle room, he notes that it is filled to the brim with a maze worth of awkward golden pillars. He cannot really move forward without zigzagging, but he does so leisurely until...

"WOOOOOBBUFFET."

And there it is, just standing there.

A wild Wobbuffet appeared!

The Battle Pyramid has an extremely thin crowd around it. As Tyler enters the double-doors of the base floor, he can see even fewer trainers inside.

"Maaan," a nearby rich boy murmurs, shuddering. "This place is haunted, man. HAUNTED. And...so...da-ha-haaaark!"

Tyler can sign in for the Battle Pyramid challenge with three Pokemon. According to the lady at the front desk, bringing items of any kind is forbidden.

"Oh. Hello. Uh, we're supposed to fight now, right?"
"Yeah. But I'm not sure there's much point."
"Mah. Just blow it away with Whirlwind."
"You got it."
"Somehow, it feels wrong to try and fight that thing... like... Mah, it's so wrong, but I'm completely off-guard right now."
"I'd scold you, but I know what you mean."

Mark blasts through seven opposing trainers in the Battle Tower, snatching victory with relative ease and completing his first set.

"Congratulations on your seven-battle winning streak," the receptionist says after the fact. "We are happy to give you these Battle Points."

Mark received 4 BP!

Wild Wobbuffet fainted!

Heno makes it across to the other side and makes it to another three-way split. The maid nods to him. "Welcome to the third room," she says. "I feel a billigerent presence in the left room..."

"Mah, I have no idea what that word means, rikie."

Heno goes left!

As Heno enters the left room, he runs into a charming fellow.

"Why hello, there. Care for a battle?"


You are challenged by Artist Perry!

The Youngster is defeated handily!

"Oh shoot! Well, you beat me! I'll heal your Pokemon right quick, since you're so tough."

Henry's Pokemon are fully healed!

He goes through the door on the other side and comes to another branch. The maid here nods at him. "Welcome to the fourth room," she says. "I feel something peaceful in the right room..."

The Youngster is defeated handily!

"Oh shoot! Well, you beat me! I'll heal your Pokemon right quick, since you're so tough."

Henry's Pokemon are fully healed!

He goes through the door on the other side and comes to another branch. The maid here nods at him. "Welcome to the fourth room," she says. "I feel something peaceful in the right room..."

To the right room

Heno defeats the artist and spills his paints everywhere.

"Curses! I am vanquished. For your efforts, however, I think I'll help cure you."

Heno's team was fully restored!

He goes through the door on the other side and comes to the next branch. The maid here nods at him. "Welcome to the fourth room," she says. "I feel a sense of peace in the right room..."
