QUOTE (1 - Twinleaf Town)
Twinleaf Town is a small residential town with no remarkable landmarks. The only things of interest are the homes of the Pearl family, which has produced two Champions and two Tower Tycoons, and the Diamond family, which has produced two Champions and a Contest MC. The only member of either family that tends to be found here is Mrs. Pearl.

QUOTE (2 - Sandgem Town)
Sandgem Town is the starting village of Sinnoh, home to the laboratory of the world famous Professor Rowan who gave you your PokeDex. Together with Dr. Platinum, he carries out his studies on the evolution of Pokemon while guiding new trainers on their journeys.

Aside from that, it is a small town of only residential buildings, save the PokeMart to the east.

West is Route 201 toward Twinleaf Town and Lake Verity. East is Route 202 toward Jubilife. South is the beach.

QUOTE (3 - Jubilife City)
Jubilife City, the City of Joy, is probably the second brightest city in Sinnoh, surpassed only by the over-charged Sunnyshore.

As you enter the city, the first buildings of note you see are the Pokemon Center on the right, and the Trainers' School on the left.

Even further west of that is the Global Trading Station, or GTS for short.

Deeper in the city, you can find large apartment complex, the Jubilife TV station, which has a brilliant large monitor attached to the front of the building, and a little past that, the Poketch Company, which makes Pokemon Watches.

As well, Jubilife is home to the Beauty Contest Hall where coordinators can win their Splendor Ribbon.

The path leading north leads to Route 204, to the west Route 218, to the East 203, and to the south, Route 202.

QUOTE (4 - Oreburgh City)
Oreburgh is a small, but bustling mining community. The city makes it's money off of the large coal mines to the south.

There is a Pokemon Center and a PokeMart, like most places.

Additionally, the Oreburgh Mining Museum can be found on the far side of town.

Of most importance, however, is the large building near the center of town. The Oreburgh City Gym!

A sign out front reads:

Oreburgh Pokémon Gym
Leader: Roark
"Call me Roark the Rock!"

QUOTE (5 - Floaroma Town)
Floaroma Town is a very beautiful town that is surrounded by gorgeous flowers of every color.

There are two places of interest here. The Honey Store, and the Pick A Peck Of Colors Flower Shop.

Additionally, there is a Pokemon Center and a PokeMart.

QUOTE (6 - Eterna City)
Eternia is one of the oldest cities in Sinnoh, and it's love of history shows.

On the far side of the city, a giant bronze statue of an ancient Pokemon overlooks the city.

There is a massive building in the north side of the city, appearing to be owned by the Galactic Corporation. [Edit] Due to recent events, the Headquarters are now ruined and abandoned.

South of that is the Pokemon Center, which sits next to an Herb Shop.

Continuing further in, there is a building with a sign in front that reads "Eterna Condominiums." It is right across the street from 'Rad' Rickshaw's Bicycle Shop.

On the far southern end of the city, there are three large buildings near the entrance to cycling road.

The Eterna Museum, which houses many ancient artifacts.

The recently added Contest Hall, where trainers may enter Contests in order to to win a Tough Ribbon.

And of course, the Eternia Pokemon Gym. In front of it reads a sign:

Eterna City Pokémon Gym
Leader: Gardenia
Master of Vivid Plant Pokémon!

QUOTE (7 - Hearthome City)
Hearthome City is located in the center of the region, and is often considered the very heart of Sinnoh itself.

The streets are well-paved and in good repair.

There are several notable buildings here, including the Pokemon Fan Club and the Poffin House.

In the southern half of the city, a grand Cathedral overlooks the city. It is the well-known base of operations for the Alpha Creed.

Up on the northern side of the city, a large domed building, the Super Contest Hall, can be found. It is here where coordinators who have claimed all five types of ribbons can face their final challenge.

A large sign with the Pokemon Psyduck, Torchic, and Drifloon can be seen, marking the entrance to the Amity Park.

Also on the northern side of the city, next to the Super Contest Hall is the Hearthome City Gym. The sign in front isn't very helpful, merely reading

"Hearthome City Gym"

QUOTE (8 - Solaceon Town)
Solaceon Town is a small town that acts as a trade village between the greater cities of Sinnoh. Of note are the Picayune press and the Pokemon Daycare Center, as well as the House of Seals on the eastern end. Other than that, it really is a small town.

QUOTE (9 - Veilstone City)
Veilstone City is one of the largest in Sinnoh. It's home to many attractions that have tourists visiting all year round.

The Veilstone Department Store is here, which houses a variety of items that eclipses that of any PokeMart.

In the upper half of the city, you can see the Pokemon Center, as well a large building decorated with the insignia of the Galactic Corporation, obviously one of their main headquarters here in Sinnoh.

In the lower half of the city, there are some strange meteorites that most of the locals seem to skirt around.

Additionally, there is the Game Corner, where you can try your luck to win fabulous prizes!

QUOTE
Wide Lens - 250 coins
Zoom Lens - 250 coins
Metronome - 250 coins
TM90 - 500 coins
TM44 - 500 coins
TM89 - 500 coins
TM27 - 500 coins
TM35 - 1000 coins
TM24 - 1000 coins
TM13 - 1000 coins
TM29 - 1000 coins
TM74 - 1000 coins

Lastly, the two most important buildings ....

The Veilstone Contest Hall, where trainers can enter in Cool Contests.

And the Veilstone City Gym. A sign outside the building reads:

Veilstone City Pokémon Gym
Leader: Maylene
The Barefoot, Fighting Genius!

QUOTE (10 - Pastoria City)
Pastoria City is surrounded by swampy marshlands, which keeps the city feeling pretty humid, even in the colder months.

There is a Pokemon Center and PokeMart like in every city.

The Move Learner is here, who can teach any Pokemon any attack, for the price of a Heart Scale.

The Great Marsh is located on the northern half of the city, where trainers can participate in a Safari Game.

Also, noteworthy, of course, is the Pastoria City Gym. A sign out front reads:

Pastoria City Gym
Leader: Wake
"The Torrential Masked Master!"

QUOTE (12 - Celestic Town)
Celestic Town is a quaint but beautiful place built around what may well have been a crater at some point in time. Residencies surround the depression in the ground as if making a wall around it, to protect the secrets held therein.

While this town holds the standard Pokemon Center, it seems to lack a PokeMart to call its own; however, there is a small house in the northwest corner that dabbles in the buying and selling of products nonetheless. A veritable mansion is the figurehead of the town, resting solidly against the northern wall.

Within the depression in the middle of the tower is a tiny solitary shrine of no extravagant decoration. Directly behind it, embedded in the cliff side, are two ancient stone walls, each with mysterious etchings on them, with a dark entrance between them.

QUOTE (13 - Canalave City)
Canalave City is the premier port town of Sinnoh. The city's lifeblood is the ferry system that delivers good and people all over the region.

The Pokemon Center and PokeMart rest on the eastern side of the town.

A large drawbridge connects the bisected city.

On the other side of the city, the Canalave Library can be found. It is the largest library in Sinnoh, containing books dating back farther than anyone can remember.

On the southern end of the city, several boats are harbored.

And of course, the Canalave Pokemon Gym can be found here.

The sign outside is, however, not particularly helpful, only reading:

Canalave City Gym

QUOTE (14 - Snowpoint City)
Snowpoint City is quiet, chilly town that marks the northernmost point in the entire region.

There's only a few houses scattered around, the city having a low population due to the severe cold temperatures that envelop the area year round.

There is a Pokemon Center and a PokeMart on opposite sides of the city.

On the far north side of the city, a massive stone temple can be found. [Edit] And now, a massive pile of stone rubble can be found there.

In the center are two large buildings.

The newly built Contest Hall, where coordinators can participate in Smart Contests, and the Snowpoint City Gym.

A sign out front reads:

Snowpoint City Gym
Leader: Candice
"Miss Diamond Dust!"

QUOTE (15 - Pal Park)
Pal Park is a place where abandoned, orphaned, released, or otherwise displaced Pokemon are freed for capture by new trainers. There are six areas within where Pokemon dwell. Trainers can play a Catching Game for points, earning a prize based on the speed with which they catch two Pokemon. Limit one per customer.

QUOTE (16 - Sunyshore City)
Sparkling and bright, Sunyshore is by far the most energetic and lively city in the Sinnoh region.

The entire city is connected by giant roads made from solar panels that power the city.

There are several attractions here. The Sunyshore Market is next the PokeMart. Here, trainers can purchase a variety of uncommon items.

The Vista Lighthouse is on the southeastern side of the city. At the very top is an observation deck, that can see as far as the Pokemon League!

North of that is Pokemon Rock, a strange rock formation that looks similar to a Munchlax.

Additionally, Sunyshore also houses a Contest Hall, where coordinators can participate in Cute Contests, as well as the Sunyshore City Gym.

A sign out front reads:

Sunyshore City Gym

QUOTE (17 - Pokemon League)
The final destination of every Pokemon Trainer's journey.

QUOTE (18 - Fight Area)
The first area of Battle Zone to the northeast of Sinnoh, Fight Area is where trainers come together off the ferry from Snowpoint or Canalave to begin a more challenging adventure.

The Battle Frontier lies to the north, but it's closed for the season.

QUOTE (19 - Survival Area)
The rest stop for trainers traveling through Battle Zone.

Though equipped with the standard PokeMart and Pokemon Center, it seems the only other notable building is an old cafe where trainers come and go to test their skills on one-another.

QUOTE (20 - Resort Area)
The final location of Battle Zone, Resort Area is where all sorts come to relax.

On the north end is the Ribbon Club, a snooty place that will disallow entry if you do not carry at least five ribbons.

To the south is a rather large villa whose owner has since faded from local memory.

To the east is the Galactic Resort.

TRADE ISLAND

QUOTE (1 - Heart Town)
On the southwestern corner of Trade Island is the home of Mason's Laboratory, the quiet, suburban Heart Town - The Town where Journeys Begin.

It is a small town for quiet living, but like the rest of the island, it has a respectable bustling. On the west end of town lies the Pokemon Center, and the PokeMart lies just below that. Sheer cliffs line the north, west, and south parts of the town, leading to a beautiful view of the free, tumultuous ocean; to the east lies the only exit, Route 701.

QUOTE (2 - Jack City)
Jack City is a sprawling but quaint city with cobblestone roads leading all around the town. Up and down the roads, every building that can be seen is made from auburn brick with gray stone to trim. Despite the spring season, the cool and faded atmosphere lends to a feeling of autumn.

In the south-east corner of the city is the Pokemon Cente, which lies immediately beside a two-story complex surrounded by a gated fence which a sign denotes as, "The Strategy Camp."

Closer to the center of the city near the PokeMart is the coveted Bicycle Shop which rich folks tend to visit whenever possible, a large range of bikes sitting outside for display.

And finally, off in the north-east corner of the city is a building which stands out among all the others, due primarily of it being made of burn-treated wood and rice paper, standing modestly over a beautiful oriental garden and polished walkway and built up to the shape of a single-story Pagoda. A sign outside reads...

Jack City Gym/Club
Leader: Mitch
The Raging Billow of Fists!

The iron gate is open for Shade as he steps up to the building, up the polished steps, and into the pagoda.

Inside, the shining hardwood floor has a single large tile with a golden-brown symbol in a middle, appearing as a fist with a striking resemblance to the trading card game's own Fighting Type insignia. It denotes this place's status as both the Fighting Club and the Jack City Gym.

Looking left, Shade can find a lobby where trainers and card players have been known to go for the purpose of battling and trading with one-another.

But looking straight ahead, a single sliding door leads deeper into the gym, a dim-lit chamber with a large, olden pillar visible to hold up the roof of the temple.

QUOTE (3 - St. Greetings)
St. Greetings is a bustling port town with several levels of city overlooked by greenery and trees, fenced off for safety as cars and other vehicles turn along in the bends. The city is white, perhaps built primarily from marble and light brick, all of the land overlooking the bluffs of the southern coast of Trade Island where the tumultuous seas rage below.

Just inside the northern entrance of the city is the Pokemon Center for weary travelers, but it is further toward the center of the city that visitors find the typical PokeMart...as well as the Card Shop, the largest Pokemon TCG vendor in the region.

Far, far to the west of the city is what used to be the Great Rocket Airport, now used for inter-regional travel and naturally inaccessible to anyone who isn't either rich or traveling on business.

Just over the bluffs, however, there is a building built into the side of the cliffs into which and out of which stairs are built, leading down to a series of tough sea vessels, the St. Greetings Port. It is here that Trade Islanders can acquire passage to the annexed region of Great Island.

QUOTE (4 - Diamond City)
The sparkling marble city is built on a foundation of mossy stone and rises just over the water. There are cobblestone sidewalks and bridges throughout the city, but the primary method of transportation is the series of personal boats that can be seen floating to and from the scores of aquatic paths and intersections. Black metallic fencing with leafy designs cover every other wall of the city, and ever still many of those are covered in a sheet of vines with muscadine berries or simple flowers of an array of colors growing from the ends.

Music can be heard. What is that sound? It's the slow sigh and drag of an accordion in the distance, and the people, should they not be tourists, dress either in swimwear covered by modest overshirts or nicely tailored suits and berets to match their form.

Like a beacon in the city, the tallest building is a skyscraper in the center of all, a glass and marble structure that is labeled as the Trade Department Store. As it happens, the Pokemon Center is actually contained inside of it.

Off on the northeastern corner of the city, where the buildings begin to thin out, is a single, small temple area with marble steps leading up from the waters and under a roof supported on all sides by carved columns and blocks. This is denoted to be the famed Water Temple where people go to test their mettle against the gentle and powerful waters.

And of course, waiting on the south end of the city, there is a blue, cylindrical structure that rises high to the sky and has an entirely glass upper floor. Before the building is a billboard to make certain that visitors know where it is, saying:

Diamond City Gym/Club
Leader: Amy
The Flamenco of the Rain

The Diamond City Department Store is just as blindingly white on the inside as it is on the outside, and it ascends a good five floors and descends into a basement. The listed floors are...

F1 - Service Counter - Discover what we have to offer and enter our raffle!
F2 - Trainer's Market - All your basic needs!
F3 - Battle Center - Turn the tide in your favor!
F4 - Pharmacy - Become stronger and stronger!
F5 - TM Corner - Customize your Pokemon!
Rooftop - Relax with one of our refreshments!
B1 - Card Shop - It's time to d-d-duel!

QUOTE
Flash 1000
Protect 2000
False Swipe 2000
Natural Gift 2000
Light Screen 2000
Reflect 2000
SolarBeam 3000
Focus Blast 5500
Fire Blast 5500
Thunder 5500
Blizzard 5500
Hyper Beam 7500

The Diamond City Gym is a giant cylindrical building with a completely glass top to allow sunlight into the upper reaches. Just inside the entrance, the standard lobby has an etching of a fish on the floor that leads to a commons area on the left and the upper deck when going straight ahead. There is no room, only stairs, and they lead to, what else? A pool.

White tile surrounds the rounded swimming pool while blue parasols hang over wooden lounge chair.

QUOTE (5 - Queen City)
Queen City is a massive, sprawling city. Under the sunlight, it is a gray land covered mostly in roads and buildings that blend together in a bland, urban mess; however, under the darkness of night, the city changes color and highlights its own wonder.

Indeed, on the corner of every block, road, and building is a patch of parkland glowing gold under the light of the surrounding buildings, and the city is alive with movement. As one moves further toward the center of the city, the bright glow of its parks becomes more sparse as a blue glow comes over the buildings from the lights of their windows, at least, those that don't reflect the world around them with their obsidian exterior. The Queen City, urban grandeur. Despite this, the perimeter of the city is notably small.

In the center of the city, a series of skyscrapers stand tall and proud over the rest of the city, creating the Queen Skyline that the city is proud of; among these buildings are the Trade Island TV and Radio Station, which provides its signal to all other cities. It lies adjacent to the Global Trading Station, flanked by a series of corporate facilities and banks.

In the southern outskirts of the city lies the Pokemon Center, and on the norther outskirts lies the PokeMart.

And displacing the city around it, on the western side of the city, is a large dome, constantly lit by its own festive lighting and easy to find due to its multitude of spotlights sweeping across the sky. Signs line every other corner of Queen to denote its purpose:

Queen City Gym/Club
Leader: Isaac
The Zapping Explosion of Stardom!

The initial entrance of the stadium is quite different from what might be expected. The floor is tiled, with one large tile in the center of the floor depicting a yellow bolt of lightning. A path to the left leads into a commons area which, when not used for concessions during a concert, is where duelists and trainers gather to battle one another. Just ahead, however, is the primary arena where the real music happens. No crowd is in today, but the music plays all the same.

QUOTE (6 - Spade City)
As Chuck and Cobalt trudge along, the vegetation becomes browner and more sparse, and the air becomes drier and drier. Spade City looms ahead, ready to accept their entry, and they notice a bit of a mismatch of structures.

Spade City is a distinctly eastern-style city, with its buildings made of dry wood and thin drywall and even rice paper, protected from the elements by extensive canopies and natural cover in the form of rock surrounding the city on all sides. Everywhere one turns, there is a giant boulder acting as a corner point for one of the dusty streets of the brown city, and people gather at the boulders, using them as specific meeting places.

The people themselves are dressed variably in either the usual post-modern garb of a nation like Trade or, usually for the older citizens, a looser eastern-style garb. Others still wear mining gear as they come home from work.

Despite the stone exterior of the town, however, it is definitely quite homely. North of the Pokemon Center, which rests in the middle of the city, is a network of buildings that make up the Daycare Center, where Pokemon can be taken to learn and remember abilities of their species' infancy. And, to the south of the city, a similar complex stands, a beautiful but gray school with a sign in front that reads:

Spade City Gym
Leader: Gene
The Stalwart Teacher

Route 711 lies east of the city; Route 712 lies south.

QUOTE (13 - Ace City)
Ace City is a colossal, towering city filled with towering black and gray skyscrapers and trainers around every corner. The city could be be described as a battle city of sorts, alight with neon colors and reflective surfaces and echoing with the bustle of battle and duel.

Despite the raw size of the city, there is only one locale that people come for if not for the wildly competitive streets: The Pokemon Dome, situated like a fallen asteroid in the center of the sea of buildings.

Sinnoh Pokemon League

Roark
user posted image

Roark is the Leader of the Oreburgh City Gym. It was presumed he would take over the Canalave City Gym after his father left, but perhaps not wanting to be in his father's shadow, he decided to remain as Oreburgh's Leader. He spends his days managing and working in the Oreburgh Mines, providing coal and fossil fuels for the region. He enjoys collecting fossils of ancient Pokemon, and can often be found in the Underground searching for them.

Roark secretly communes in the UG, an underground city network in which trainers can battle without the need of rules or the worry of the surface world's problems. He stands among them as one of their Elites.

Affiliation: While Roark personally favors the traditionalist ways of the Alpha Creed, his and Oreburgh's primary source of income comes from the Galactic Corporation, who purchases coal for use in powering Sinnoh, thus leading him to support the Corporation.

Strategy to Victory: Roark's Rock-type Pokemon hit ridiculously hard. Having a Pokemon capable of hitting the Rock-type's weaknesses means little if it is not able to out-speed or survive his brutal hits! Roark's specialty attack, Stealth Rock, will damage opponents as they enter the field.

Gardenia
user posted image

Gardenia is the Leader of the Eterna City Gym and the Master of Ceremonies for the Eterna Contest Hall. Despite having been the Leader of Eterna's Gym for some time, Gardenia was not approached for the position of MC. Despite this, she eagerly volunteered for the position, always happy to face new, tough challengers. She is deathly afraid of Ghosts and frequently attempts to explore the Old Chateau and overcome her fear...but usually fails.

Affiliation: Due to the anti-ecological nature inherent in the Galactic Corporation, Gardenia tends to favor the Alpha Creed. However, between running the Gym and the Contest Hall, she does not follow the happenings in the region very closely.

Strategy to Victory (Gym): Gardena's Grass Pokemon are pretty varied, and run the gamut of physical and special offense and defense. They employ the typical status and sun based attacks of most Grass types, but have no real outstanding strengths or weakness. Gardenia's specialty attack, Grass Knot, deals more damage to heavier opponents.

Strategy to Victory (Contest): Gardenia's Tangela and Tangrowth are defensive powerhouses, and will shrug off all but the most powerful physical hits. Special attacks will be more effective. Gardenia's specialty attack, Reflect, further decreases the damage taken from physical attacks.

Maylene
user posted image

Maylene is the Leader of the Veilstone City Gym. No longer a little girl, uncertain of her own position and ability, Maylene has grown into a confident and powerful woman, easily able to defeat anyone in single combat with the fighting techniques she's developed over the years. She is currently in a relationship with Candice, the Snowpoint Gym Leader, and they can often be found shopping together in the Veilstone Department Store.

Affiliation: Maylene favors the simplicity of the Alpha Creed, over the more technologically advanced Galactic Corporation. She often argues with Candice over this.

Strategy to Victory: As is typical of Fighting-type Pokemon, Maylene's Fighting Pokemon are powerful physical attackers. That is also the defining trait of her Lucario, compared to that of Riley of Canalave's Lucario, who uses primarily special attacks. Maylene's specialty attack, Drain Punch, deals a considerable amount of damage and returns the damage as health.

Wake
user posted image

Wake is the Leader of the Pastoria City Gym. His exploits in the squared circle are known throughout the world, indeed, (Crasher) Wake is the current reigning World Heavyweight Champion (of the World). When not training in the Gym, Wake can be found at the Jubilife TV Station, filming his weekly television show.

Affiliation: Wake favors the Galactic Corporation, as the Corporation has been more involved in researching the effects of pollution on Water Pokemon. Also, in his own words, "Those Galactic grunts squeal so much better than the Creed when you body slam'em".

Strategy to Victory: Wake piles on the power with physically offensive Water Pokemon. Aside from the usual super effective types, such as Electric and Grass, Poison-type attacks are now also very effective. Wake's specialty attack, Brine, deals more damage to Pokemon who are under 50% health.

Sashay
user posted image

Sashay is the Leader of the Hearthome City Gym. A snide, rude, and downright unpleasant little girl, the daughter of Fantina is made even more insufferable by being able to back her words up with her graceful dance moves. When not insulting her challengers in multiple languages, Sashay can sometimes be found enjoying walks in Amity Park.

Sashay is the former Colosseum Master of the Sunny Park Colosseum in PokePark, known worldwide as one of the greatest attractions to Pokemon Trainers the world over. Basically, but not technically, this denotes Sashay as a Frontier Brain and implies all the power of one. Her reason for leaving the position is likely related to her mother taking up the mantle of Sinnoh's Grand MC.

Affiliation: Sashay hates everyone. Tout le monde.

Strategy to Victory: Sashay's Pokemon are all of varying types, with varying attacks. The single common thread connecting them is they each have a specific Dance. Sashay's specialty attack, Swords Dance, doubles the attack stat.

Candice is the Leader of the Snowpoint City Gym. In addition to her duties as a Gym Leader, she also runs a school inside the gym, and is known to be as stern in class as she is in battle. Before the Creed took over, she also served as a guardian and caretaker of the Snowpoint Temple. She can often be found in Veilstone, visiting her girlfriend, Maylene.

Affiliation: Candice is an outspoken supporter of the Galactic Corporation, in no small part because of, from her perspective, the Creed taking over as caretakers of Snowpoint Temple. She often argues with Maylene over this.

Strategy to Victory: Candice will always lead with Snover or Abomasnow to start a permanent hailstorm with their Snow Warning ability. This makes her a tricky opponent to nail down, as the Hail gives her Pokemon's powerful Blizzard attack perfect accuracy and can activate the Snow Cloak ability of others, allowing them to be more evasive. Candice's specialty attack, Avalanche, does double-damage if the user goes second.

Buck
user posted image

Buck is the Leader of the Sunyshore City Gym. The younger brother of Elite Four Flint, Buck jumped at the opportunity to take over the Gym when it was vacated. He oversaw a second complete reconstruction of the Gym, changing it to favor his own specality. When not at the Gym, Buck can often be found looking for (and at) cute girls at the Beauty Contest Hall in Jubilife City.

Affliation: Buck favors the Alpha Creed because the robes on the women are more form-fitting (and neon-hair is a turn-off).

Strategy to Victory: All of Buck's Pokemon have an ability or move that prevents switching. He will attempt to force 1-on-1 confrontations that he cannot lose. His most powerful Pokemon, Heatran, is a legendary Pokemon capable of entrapping opponent a storm of magma.

Riley
user posted image

Riley is the Leader of the Canalave City Gym. He is one of the few people in the world capable of manipulating Aura. He is good friends with the former Leader, Byron, and agreed to take over ownership after it was clear his son did not want the position. He often continues his intense training regimen at Iron Island.

Affiliation: Riley favors the Alpha Creed due to the spiritual nature of the group.

Strategy to Victory: Riley's Steel Pokemon are capable of wielding a mighty punch, and have sturdy defenses as well. His Lucario is different from that of Maylene's due to the fact that his Lucario prefers specially-based attacks like Aura Sphere. Riley's specialty attack, Flash Cannon, can sometimes decrease the special defense of an opponent.

Jordan
user posted image

Jordan is the Master of Ceremonies at the Veilstone Cool Contest Hall. He is a very trendy, rock star who used to be a former judge before the official Contest Divide that separated the halls by category. He can often be found at the Hotel Grand Lake, which he owns.

Affiliation: Jordan and the Galactic Corporation have a very lucrative business arrangement.

Strategy to Victory: Jordan's Sneasel and Weavile are nimble and powerful, but can often be caught with their guard down as they attempt powerful Focus Punches. Jordan's specialty attack, Focus Punch, requires the Pokemon to charge up before striking.

Charlotte
user posted image

Charlotte is the Master of Ceremonies at the Sunyshore Cute Contest Hall. She is an adorable five year old that is almost criminally cute. Despite her young age, her skills have garnered her a large fan following, allowing her to become the Sunyshore MC. Her speech impediment and love of all things cute may be masking a hidden maturity. She can often be found frolicking among the flower fields of northern Floaroma.

Affiliation: Strange spacesuits and neon hair scare Charlotte.

Strategy to Victory: Charlotte's Pachirisu is as quick and speedy as it is cute, but is offensively weak and falls prey the usual electric weakness, Ground. Charlotte's specality attack, Thunder Wave, paralyzes the opponent, and drops their speed.

Amy
user posted image

Amy is the Master of Ceremonies at the Snowpoint Smart Contest Hall. Amy was partially involved in the Time of Black Sky event five years ago, but refuses to comment on it. Ever since returning to her homeland of Sinnoh, she rarely ventures out of Snowpoint City, citing a severe dislike of warm temperatures. She can occasionally be found visiting Lake Acuity.

Affiliation: Amy agrees with Candice and the Galactic Corporation, but is not as fervent in her dislike of the Alpha Creed.

Strategy to Victory: Her Lucario's absurdly powerful Focus Blast has a shaky accuracy, and taking advantage of that is your best best. Amy's specialty attack, Focus Blast, is powerful and can lower the opponent's special defense, but has accuracy issues.

Johanna
user posted image

Johanna is the Master of Ceremonies at the Jubilife Beauty Contest Hall. Johanna is an expert coordinator, and was a part-time participant even after getting married and the birth of her son. She still lives in nearby Twinleaf Town.

Her son is Lucas, otherwise known as Devout Omega. How much she knows about this is unknown.

Affiliation: Johanna doesn't pay much attention to the current conflict, but if asked, would probably say the Creed...?

Strategies to Victory: Johanna's Purugly is surprisingly strong. Be mindful of quick decisive blows! Johanna's signature move, Light Screen, halves damage from special attacks.

Alpha Creed

Beta
user posted image

The Minister of the Alpha Creed. Devout Beta is the high priest of the Creed, and he rarely, if ever leaves the Hearthome Cathedral, choosing instead to preach and ordain new members. When an initiate becomes worthy of a second name, he is the one that chooses the name and bestows it upon them. He is apparently a former member of the Seven Sages of Team Plasma, but his history is unknown.

In Chapter 9, Devout Beta has never been spotted outside of the Cathedral, choosing to direct the actions and recruitment of the Creed. He has usually been seen giving sermons to his followers, demonstrating a strong sense of wordplay and charisma and an unwavering faith in the Alpha.

Gamma (Lauren)
user posted imageuser posted image

The Missionary of the Alpha Creed. Devout Gamma serves as the primary member in charge of public relations and managing events within the Creed itself. Despite her busy schedule, she seems to take a personal interest in keeping Devout Delta from lazing around her. A Solaceon native, she keeps a friendly personality and neutral tone of voice when she can, but when angered, she becomes intimidating and slips into a harsh accent. She seems to have some connection to Commander Ceres.

In Chapter 9, Devout Gamma spends most of her time managing the Creed's public events and accounts from her room in the Hearthome Cathedral, but she was eventually sent as the Creed's representative to the Galactic Resort Picnic. When Devout Digamma attacked, Devout Gamma was put to the flame and lost control of her temper in the face of Galactic accusations. She was then transferred to the Snowpoint Temple, where she suffered a crippling loss to the Galactic invasion rescuing Coral. Though she had the support of Omega, she could not prevent the destruction of the building and has since remained with the ruins in search of answers.

Delta (Dyme)
user posted imageuser posted image

The Minstrel of the Alpha Creed. Devout Delta works alongside Devout Gamma in the field of public relations, though his carefree attitude often gives the impression that he is her subordinate. He is very lazy, often placing his burden on other members so that he can have more time to practice his music. Prior to joining the Creed, Devout Delta was apparently a lowly pizza boy. How he acquired his high position is subject to much speculation. His guitar is possessed by a Rotom.

In Chapter 9, Delta has been spotted leading small groups of Disciples in catching swarms of Pokemon, notably Absol, but has otherwise only piddled around the Cathedral and arranged for one-man concerts in the Creed's name. He was eventually put on a peculiar mission by Devout Beta which saw him and a slew of Disciples travel around to several shrines in Sinnoh dedicated to the Legendary Pokemon, Regirock, Regice, and Regirock. He has avoided battle at all costs; however, when cornered, compromised, and insulted, Devout Delta has gone into a state of mind that is described, simply, as terrifying. He ran roughshod through his opponent and continued unabated, but his mission was put on hold when the war began to escalate.

Epsilon (Marley)

user posted imageuser posted image

The Witness of the Alpha Creed. Devout Epsilon is a recent convert. She is a quiet, somewhat shy woman with a troubled past who found her purpose in life anew, in part due to the Creed. She oversees the day-to-day internal affairs of the Creed. She holds a great deal of affection for Devout Omega, but she remains distant so as not to interfere with her work.

In Chapter 9, Devout Epsilon served as a guiding light for many of Rowan's PokeDex Carriers, but she has spent most of her time guarding the Snowpoint Temple from attacks. There, her fury was demonstrated when she took down the Galactic Criminal, Hyperion, in single combat, but the Temple was ransacked a second time under her watch. After transferring away, she led the Creed's mission in Eterna HQ to rescue Rho, battling with Commander Ceres but apparently losing due to fatigue among her team; even so, the mission was successful. It is believed by the Galactics that she planted the Rotom that later possessed the Headquarters. Devout Epsilon was later challenged to a rematch with Hyperion, which she lost. She is familiar with the Champion, Mira, and was the first to convince Devout Beta to heed her decree to a forced ceasefire.

Omega (Lucas)
user posted imageuser posted image

The Martyr of the Alpha Creed.

Devout Omega was one of the older members of the Alpha Creed, having joined some time around the reinvention of the group as it is known today. He used to be an ordinary Pokemon Trainer before assorted wrongs began plaguing him and the world. In pursuit of purpose, he eventually made his home with the Creed, where he co-managed internal affairs. Devout Omega was a true brother to the Creed's disciples and molded a number of PokeDex Carriers singlehandedly; however, to those he perceived as an enemy, he showed ruthless intent. He seems to be a solemn figure and refuses to show emotion lest it compromise the judgment of those around him. As Lucas, he was once the Champion of Sinnoh.

In Chapter 9, Devout Omega was the first to perpetuate the story and reputation of Princess Light after being rescued by her. He then spent much of his time meeting prospective initiates and turning them toward the light. He was put in charge of Snowpoint Temple after Devout Epsilon where he remained until Devout Gamma was reassigned there; however, though he was seen leaving, he remained within the temple, as the Creed fully anticipated the Galactic assault. Inside the Temple, he ambushed Phobos and Tethys as they attempted to abscond with Hyperion, crushing them with his power; however, Phobos and Hyperion escaped. When they returned later and compromised the Temple, Devout Omega was last seen hurdling himself into its depths before it collapsed on itself. He is believed to be deceased.

Digamma
user posted image

The "Mystery of the Alpha Creed." Little is known about Devout Digamma. Though the Galactic Corporation considers her a Creed threat, her connection with the Creed has not been confirmed.

In Chapter 9, Devout Digamma made her first true appearance attempting to steal profile information from the Galactic Resort, but she was foiled by Phobos, Tethys, and Inspector Looker; however, she caused considerable damage and is responsible for ruining any chances the two groups had to reconcile. She was next seen in Eterna Forest just prior to the incident in which a Rotom possessed the Eterna HQ. She arrived personally to stave off attempts by the Galactics to break into their own building; she defeated Commander Ceres but then lost to Commander Jupiter. Despite the brevity of her appearances, her name has been speculated in involvement of over a dozen separate incidents.

Galactic Corporation

Saturn

user posted image

Commander Saturn is the Chairman and CEO of the Galactic Corporation. An original member of Team Galactic, after the arrest of Charon, he took over the reigns of the group, and transformed it into the primer energy company on the continent, to which he serves as chairman to this day. Little is known of Saturn these days, but whenever he is seen in public, he always knows exactly what to say and is described as an expert speaker at shareholder meetings. His is always calculating his next move.

In Chapter 9, Commander Saturn's very first action was the blow heard around Sinnoh, ending an impromptu battle between the Galactic Corporation and the Creed in Jubilife. There, he had a brief encounter with the Devouts of the Alpha Creed, now considered to be the moment the real struggle began. He has typically hidden himself in the offices of Veilstone except to speak at the Galactic Resort Picnic and to issue the attack order to the Galactic PokeDex Holders. Resigning to Mira's word, however, he called off the attack.

Mars
user posted image

Commander Mars is another original member of Team Galactic. She apparently left the group when Charon was arrested, but rejoined after it became the Galactic Corporation, from an offer by Saturn. Mars is a stoic and calculating character, only losing her nerve when her authority is somehow undermined. She respects power and cunning above all other things, and she values the accomplishment of a mission far more than the means of accomplishment. She appears to be Saturn's second-in-command.

In Chapter 9, Commander Mars has typically been seen managing the Eterna Headquarters when not on duty at Veilstone, recruiting new Galactic members from Rowan's PokeDex carriers. Most pointedly, she approved and participated in the mission to rescue Hyperion which ultimately ended with the destruction of the Snowpoint Temple.

Jupiter

user posted image

Commander Jupiter is another original member of Team Galactic. She also left the group when Charon was arrested, but was NOT invited back, instead choosing to simply come back and reclaim her original position. She has a bit of vicious mean streak, to say the least. She appears to hold no love for anyone other than herself, acting as the Galactic Corporation's designated "bad guy"; to wit, if the Corporation was involved in something bad, Jupiter was probably involved.

In Chapter 9, Jupiter first took to the field for the purpose of apprehending Creed Initiates Rho and Theta for reasons yet unknown (cited as "hostile trespassing"). She battled with Rho to a stalemate before leaving the matter to Galactic Recruits Albiorix, Phobos, and Tethys. Since then, her reputation has preceded her as the nastiest creature in the Corporation's hierarchy. She was next seen in action when Eterna HQ was besieged by a rogue Rotom that allowed the hacking and subsequent leaking of terabyte of sensitive information. After becoming free of the building, she battled the mysterious Devout Digamma and seemingly was victorious.

Ceres

user posted image
Commander Ceres is a recent addition to the leadership of the Corporation. While seemingly cold and aloof, those that served with and under him find him to be a pleasant and enjoyable person to be around. His personality does a complete 180 when he battles, however, as he becomes vicious and almost cocky. He is the Galactic Corporation's external actions supervisor.

In Chapter 9, Ceres can normally be found in the Valley Windworks when not on the road overseeing an important Corporate delivery. He has demonstrated a cunning business ability, taking advantage of Creed Initiates and public blindspots to win a great deal of public support for the Corporation, notably repelling a piracy attempt by Theta; however, he received his comeuppance from the same Initiate during the Creed's rescue of Rho. He oversaw the event schedule of the Galactic Resort Picnic. Most recently, he led the Galactic counterattack at Eterna HQ, engaging the mysterious Devout Digamma in battle; however, he lost again.

Venus (Dawn)

user posted image

Commander Venus is another recent addition to the Corporation. She doesn't seem to be well known by even those IN the Corporation, because of her unique position in the group. Those who have encountered her would describe her as quiet and thoughtful, showing a streak of kindness to everyone, including those the Creed. This thoughtfulness extends even to captured Creed Disciples. Commander Venus is actually Dawn Platinum, Professor Rowan's most reliable assistant. Her reasons for joining the Galactic Corporation are unknown.

In Chapter 9, Commander Venus was first referenced as the commanding officer attempting to pick off Devouts in Hearthome City, and her actions have been limited primarily to the shadows since then. She has been sighted only three times: Once guarding the catacombs of the Eterna HQ during the Creed's rescue of Rho, again attempting to capture Iota and Psi in direct response to the conflict escalation in Resort Area, and at last as a mediating figure when the Galactic Corporation declared total war on the Alpha Creed. She is familiar with the Champion, Mira, and is the one to convince Saturn to heed her proclamation.

Sinnoh Miscellaneous

Professor Rowan
user posted image

Professor Rowan is the leading figure in Pokemon Evolution and the sole Pokemon Professor of the Sinnoh region. Alongside Prof. Oak, he helped develop the alpha model of the Pokemon Index, or PokeDex, and was the first to put it on trial. Since then every generation of PokeDex holders has yielded as least one Champion. A kind and understanding individual, Prof. Rowan is nonetheless a firm teacher and has little patience for tomfoolery.

Chapter 9: Prof. Rowan once again handed out a series of PokeDexes, the "Personal Model", alongside six starting Pokemon. For a time, he was the stalwart but unfortunate guidepost for his trainers alongside the ever destructive Pearl. Halfway through the League Season, he was summoned to the WSC in the Trade Archipelago and left his laboratory in the hands of his assistant, Dr. Platinum.

Tower Tycoon Pearl
user posted image

THE CHAMP IS HERE! Pearl is one of Professor Rowan's release model PokeDex Carriers and arguably his most successful selection. He is one of the most accessible celebrities in the world, visiting most people who so much as say his name out loud and has a strong presence on Chatalk. He is a former Champion who abdicated when it was time for him to take the keys to the Battle Tower from his father, making him officially undefeated. Pearl was once traumatized by a revolving door as a child and so disregards doors entirely as an adult.

Chapter 9: In lieu of Dawn, Pearl showed up at Prof. Rowan's laboratory every time a new PokeDex applicant showed up, causing constant damage. He has made a point of showing up on demand and answering all questions asked him in the best and least ambiguous manner possible. He seems to be somewhat knowledgeable of the conflict between the Creed and the Galactic Corporation, but his only involvement so far has been breaking up their initial conflict in Jubilife City.

Judge Dexter
user posted image

One of Sinnoh's three Judges, Dexter has been the head judge for Sinnoh Contests for as long as they've existed. He holes style and substance in equal regard and has been known as an excitable and pleasant individual. In his older age, he has calmed and become a more analytic and mentoring individual, and he can come off as a touch unfriendly, but it's just how he is.

Chapter 9: Dexter has an endless schedule traveling around Sinnoh to judge Contests. He is mildly active on Chatalk as his only means of escape.

Judge Kiera
user posted image

One of Sinnoh's three Judges, Kiera is a former Top Coordinator and used to be a pop idol in Sinnoh and its surrounding regions. Since becoming a Judge, she acts as a more involved figure and values the style and beauty of Contests over all else. She still occasionally tours Sinnoh. It is suspected that she and Jordan were once an item, but after he left to become an MC, she reportedly said of him, "He'll be a bachelor forever."

Chapter 9: When not judging the plethora of contests held all around Sinnoh, Kiera spends her time setting up tour dates.

Judge Footprint
user posted image

The replacement for Jordan, Dr. Footprint took up the mantle of Contest Judge in order to study the movements of Pokemon more thoroughly. He is regarded as an exceptional professor in Pokemon interpretation through sheer force of body language, preferring to read their feelings via their footsteps.

Chapter 9: Dr. Footprint spends his freetime in his beach-side cottage east of Pastoria City. There, he gives free footprint readings to trainers interested in finding out their Pokemon's feelings. Trainers with particularly happy Pokemon will receive a Footprint Ribbon.

Archaeologist Cheryl
user posted image

Cheryl used to be a timid and well-mannered archeology student, but through unknown means has been set free of her shell. She now stands as one of the most prolific ruins maniacs in the Sinnoh region. When she finds an interesting location, she has been known to sit still and study it for weeks before getting up and moving to a new location without warning. She is apparently also a respectable Pokemon Trainer.

Chapter 9: Cheryl spent most of her time in the Solaceon Ruins studying the Unown. The Creed sent emissaries to acquire her studies, but few have succeeded. When she was made aware of the existence and subsequent theft of the Seven Gems from Solaceon Temple, she set out to discover what happened, but she became distracted when she stumbled on a shrine to Regice in Mt. Coronet, where she has planted herself indefinitely. Despite butting heads with the Creed multiple times, she seems not to know, or care, about the difference between the Creed and the Galactic Corporation.

Inspector Looker
user posted image

One of the faces of Interpol and a very handsome individual, Looker is world famous for his work in apprehending the leader of Team Galactic, Commander Charon, and the leaders of Team Plasma, the Seven Sages. This action caused the reformation of Team Galactic into the Galactic Corporation under Commander Saturn and make Looker into a hero in Sinnoh. Though quite intelligent, Looker is also extremely paranoid and seems to have trouble understanding technological advances, leading to the spilling of many secrets.

Chapter 9: Looker returned to Sinnoh on behalf of Interpol in order to investigate the new conflict between the Galactic Corporation and the Alpha Creed. He's been encountered several times around the region hassling citizens at almost random to attain information, and his conspicuous movements have caused both factions to take cautionary measures. Despite this, he still managed to infiltrate the Galactic Resort Picnic; there, he snuck Kyosuke and Alexis into the main building and flushed out Devout Digamma, exposing her and stopping her from stealing the Galactic Corporation's membership database. He then confiscated the information for Interpol, much to the Commanders' outrage. He seems to hold special interest in the PokeDex Carriers.

Grand Coordinator Zoey
user posted image

Zoey is a prolific Pokemon Coordinator and one of the most consistent winners of the Grand Contest. She is a confident person and a powerful trainer, and she spends a great deal of her time aiding fellow Coordinators and improving her prowess.

Chapter 9: Zoey responded to a challenge against Coordinators, but she and PokeDex Carrier Aurora discovered it to be trap. They overpowered the enemy and saved the day. Zoey has since expressed interest in participating in the Sinnoh League Tournament for the first time.

Pokemon Trainer Tyler
user posted image

A trainer from the Hoenn region and a Black Sky Veteran. Tyler is a fun-loving person and capable trainer. He travels the world with his girlfriend, Azlen, as well as several other past comrades, adding more and more badges to his collection.

Chapter 9: Tyler first appeared with his travel group to witness the initial conflict between the Galactic Corporation and the Creed. Since then, he has been sporadically seen battling Gym Leaders or watching Azlen participate in contests, and he has issued a number of challenges in his bid to strengthen his Pokemon.

Pokemon Coordinator Azlen
user posted image

A coordinator from the Hoenn region and Black Sky survivor. Azlen travels the world with her boyfriend, Tyler, and a select group of other trainers from her days back home.

Chapter 9: Azlen and her group bore witness to the first conflict between the Galactic Corporation and the Creed. Afterward, she has been seen alongside Tyler participating in contests and watching his gym battles. She is the first coordinator of the season to earn a Cherish rank Splendor Ribbon, and she was promptly given a challenge by the Contest Queen, Zoey, herself.

Pokemon Trainer Heno
user posted imageuser posted image

A peculiar teen in disheveled clothing, Heno is a Black Sky Veteran and world traveler. He seems to have a difficult time understanding basic concepts, but his knowledge of man, Pokemon, and the bonds thereof is profound and his battle prowess is enormous. His traveling companion, "Kumi", is a silent girl about whom nothing is known.

Chapter 9: Heno and Kumi were first seen witnessing the events of the Jubilife scuffle between the Galactic Corporation and the Creed. Since then, they have normally been seen in the wild, fighting against powerful Pokemon at every opportunity, often with Heno's bare hands, and challenging other trainers, usually with Kumi at the helm. Heno also once got involved when PokeDex Carrier Aurora seemed to be stealing Lily's Pokemon, but the former talked her way out of the situation. Heno and Kumi eventually made their way to Victory Road, where Heno challenged PokeDex Carrier Coral and lost. Heno's greatest words of advice are, "PokeDex Holders can always trust other PokeDex Holders," and "Pink-haired girls are always trouble."

Hoenn Champion Henry
user posted image

The former Champion of the Hoenn region and a Black Sky Veteran. Henry won his championship shortly before the Time of Black Sky and the associated destruction of Hoenn. For reasons unknown, he abdicated the chair and went on to travel alongside his other comrades from the event. The presence he exudes is described as unsettling at best, and he seems to have a great deal of psychologically dissociation.

Chapter 9: Henry was first seen bearing witness to the conflict between the Galactic Corporation and the Creed in Jubilife. Since then, he has been seen sitting in locations of totally random meaning, often looking in the direction of Lily of the Valley. He once challenged PokeDex Carrier Garnet to a battle and won handily.

Trade Pokemon League

Mitch
user posted image

An original Club Master of Jack City and now the acting Gym Leader of the Fighting Type, Mitch is considered one of the most prolific card players and martial artists on the island of Trade. Along with his many pupils, he runs his Club and Gym as a midpoint for Duelists and a teaching gym for Trainers, and so his true prowess is rarely seen. He associates with a man named Brutus, and he is the master of Jessica.

Chapter 10: Mitch serves as a general starting point for most of Malus' PokeDex Carriers. He is a proud but fair warrior who refuses to go easy on his challengers but will gracefully accept a loss. He was first revealed as the Gym Leader after his pupil, Jessica, impersonated him in his position. According to her, he has been having trouble balancing his duties as Club Master, Gym Leader, and Karate Master, and a number of his students are trying to become worthy of succeeding him in one of these.

Jessica
user posted image

A student to Mitch, arguably his best. Jessica has been a member of the Fighting Club since a little girl, at its inception, and has trained tirelessly under Mitch to become the best that she can be since that time. She has mastered her craft as a martial artist, becoming a Black Belt at a young age, but her wisdom leaves much to be desired. She worries about her master and about her own worth often.

Chapter 10: Jessica impersonated the Jack City Gym Leader when PokeDex Carrier Shade first challenged the gym, but she was defeated without a fuss, after which she was reprimanded for her deception by Mitch. Her actions are explained as an attempt to take over Mitch's duties as Gym Leader due to his exhausting laundry list of duties, but he has forbidden it. She has since attempted to speak with a number of trainers to seek advice on what, if anything, she is lacking as a Pokemon Trainer.

Team Great Rocket

GR-1 Avarant
user posted image

Real name James, Avarant was one of the five original masked Team Great Rocket members who laid siege to Trade Island when the organization first attempted to acquire the Legendary Cards. Along with his comrades, he was driven off by Mark and Mint before appearing as the second guard in a GR Fort. He is snide and arrogant individual, and he is not above kidnapping and brainwashing if it means attaining his goals, which appears to be accumulating money.

Chapter 10: Avarant appeared in Jack City as Invia's backup in an attempt to capture Mitch's student, Jessica, and use her as leverage to incapacitate him. The scenario went awry, but they managed to injure the Gym Leader all the same. Afterward, he defeated Ex-Pirate Natalya in a battle and fled with Invia.

Real name Victoria, Invia was one of the five original masked Team Great Rocket members who laid siege to Trade Island when the organization first attempted to acquire the Legendary Cards. During the occupation, she notably flexed enough psychic power to take control of Club Master Murray, but the two were defeated by Mint and Mark regardless. She is the granddaughter of the GR Psychic Fort Leader, Adelaide, and the daughter of Heidi. She is an impressive psychic, but her temperament and flagrant misuse of her powers indicate an endless need of glory.

Chapter 10: Invia appears in Jack City along with Avarant in an attempt to capture Jessica and use her against Mitch. The plan was derailed quickly, but using her own brand of Future Sight, she punched a telekinetic hole in Mitch while aiming for Jessica, injuring him egregiously. She then lost to Hex Girl Melody, whom she seems to have developed a particular distaste for, before fleeing the scene.

GR-5 Perfidel

Real name Tony, Perfidel is an incredibly powerful man and a black belt in an unknown form of martial art. He is one of the five original Masked Team Great Rocket members who occupied Trade Island when the organization first attempted to acquire the Legendary Cards. He did not participate in any of the duels himself, serving as the liaison for those who wished to board the Great Rocket blimp and travel to Great Island. No one ever discovered his true identity. As Tony, he guarded the prison of Mitch and defended the Fighting Fort Leader, Brutus. He is a boastful man, but his true character and motivations are shrouded in mystery. He is the de facto leader of the GR Masks.

Chapter 10: Along with Ira, Perfidel first appeared in Queen City, plotting to somehow compromise the Gym Leader, Isaac; however, the two of them were exposed by Dex Holders Chuck and Cobalt, and they were defeated in battle. Perfidel was only deterred once Isaac released his Pokemon, after which he fled.

Professor Malus
user posted image

Hailing from the Kanto region, Professor Gideon Malus was instated as the resident "Pokemon Professor" after he relocated to Trade Island. He specializes in biological engineering, but his preferred topic of study is in "potential," which shows in his choice of PokeDex Carriers. Little is known of him before his arrival to Trade.

Chapter 10: Prof. Malus came to Mason's Lab in Heart Town to meet his selected PokeDex Carriers, possessing his own version of the Personality Model PokeDex and six starting Pokemon. He made it clear to his selections that he chose them because of the data they could provide him, given their wildly varied personalities. He is a member of the World Salvation Committee.

Dr. Mason
user posted image

Dr. Mason is a big fan of the Pokemon Trading Card Game, and he served as a teacher to prospective card players hoping to challenge the Grand Masters for the Legendary Cards. Bizarrely, he built scores and scores of technology related to the building, playing, and carrying of the card game. When Trade's passtime began to fade and become usurped by Pokemon Training, he then collaborated with Devon Corp. to build a new system that would merge the two, most recently developing the e-Reader.

Chapter 10: Dr. Mason hosted the meeting between Prof. Malus and the PokeDex Carriers, also giving out the e-Reader V1.0 and a number of cards for use with it. He appears to still obsess primarily over the card game.

Rowan Laboratory
Located in Sandgem Town, Rowan Labs is the epicenter of research on Pokemon Evolution. It's primary aides besides the eponymous Professor Rowan include the father and daughter combination, Dr. Platinum and Dawn Platinum, with the occasional help of Barry Pearl. The plethora of PokeDex Carriers who start their journey at this lab are promised a place in history.

PokeDex
The Pokemon Index, or PokeDex, is a research and recording device for use in the work of anyone who works in a field of Pokemon. Invented jointly by Professor Samuel Oak and Professor Luisliu Rowan, the PokeDex has gone through many different stages of development and run through trials in sets of three until 016 when the V7.0 Mass Production model was released. In 022, Rowan handed out the V7.2 "Personal Model", which comes in four colors, a personality for each, in addition to email and telephone function, Pokemon trading feature, and full encyclopedic knowledge of Pokemon. Pokemon Trainers who carry the PokeDex have almost always placed in the finals of regional tournaments or become notable researchers; because of this, PokeDex Holders are now considered a commodity among many groups, including the Galactic Corporation and the Alpha Creed.

Poketch
The Sinnoh equivalent of the PokeGear and C-Gear, wildly outclassing Devon Corp's PokeNav, the Poketch is fully programmable wrist computer which is distributed by the family-owned Poketch Company. It started as a mere hobby of a man, but within a few years, it became the primary application device of Sinnoh with thousands of indy programmers making it into one of the most versatile devices in the world, and for a reasonable price. Its primary function for Pokemon Trainers is to give them extra access to their Pokemon's feelings and health, in addition to granting them access to online functions such as telephone, email, CenterNet, and Chatalk.

Pokemon League
The storied Pokemon League of Sinnoh, which includes the regional gym challenge and the contest challenge. Before 015, it was a straight challenge issued by the Elite Four, but it has since been reorganized into a 64-Seed Tournament, whose sitting champion is Mira.

Grand Contest
Related to but distinct from the Pokemon League is the Grand Festival Contest, run by sitting Grand MC Fantina; those who have collected all five of their Contest Ribbons may participate in the Grand Contest, which will decide the Top Coordinator of that particular year. Those who place in the Grand Contest by defeating the Grand MC are given the Grand Ribbon and allowed passage into Victory Road.

Galactic Corporation
The Galactic Corporation is the premier energy company of Sinnoh, run by Chairman and CEO, Commander Saturn. Rising from the ashes of Team Galactic, the Corporation went public in 018 and acquired every power facility in the region, bringing their collective efficiency up by 400%. Though it initially came under fire for monopolizing power on the continent, it has managed to lower energy prices without slashing employee benefits and is generally known as one of the highlights of the corporate world; despite this, an undercurrent of detractors, led primarily by the Alpha Creed, insinuates a sinister underside to their features; as the company continued to sell wind power long after the wind stopped, these claims may have merit.

Veilstone Headquarters
The primary HQ of the Galactic Corporation, containing their many research facilities and management offices, as well as lying attached to the Galactic Condominiums and the Veilstone Hydroelectric Plant.

Eterna Heaquarters
The secondary HQ of the Galactic Corporation, the Commanders manage West Sinnoh's power via this building. They also keep a considerable prison facility underground for the purpose of confining enemies, of which they have many. The Headquarter contained Initiate Rho for a time until his release through the efforts of Epsilon, Theta, and Omicron; it was eventually possessed by a Rotom and destroyed from within by Corporal Halimede as a defensive countermeasure.

Valley Windworks
The Galactic Corporation's wind facility near Floaroma, the Valley Windworks have become a management facility for the region's wind power; however, due to recent fridge revelations that the wind no longer meaningfully blows, it is unknown what, if anything, turns the windmills. The Creed ransacked and stole a number of copies of the latest windmill plans.

Galactic Resort
The Galactic Corporation hosts a number of gatherings at their facility in Resort Area. It has become slightly defunct until repairs can be made on their primary Battle Zone HQ, which was damaged during the Galactic Resort Picnic when Devout Digamma made her escape.

Team Galactic
The original form of the Galactic Corporation, run by a madman. In 013, it ran amok in Sinnoh, stealing Pokemon and causing general havoc, perhaps the most infamous example being the detonation of the Galactic Bomb which nearly eviscerated Lake Valor and shook the continent as far as Canalave City. According to history, Inspector Looker of Interpol ended their plans when he arrested Commander Charon at Mt. Stark. The full extent of their plans was never made public by Interpol, but it is known that they had an unhealthy interest in Sinnoh's legends.

Alpha Creed
The latest incarnation of the Church of Origin Mythology, the Creed was pulled together in a strong communion in 018, responding directly to the mass panics following the Time of Black Sky and the changing of the weather. By making a uniform of its system of beliefs, the Creed took total control of all places of worship and mythological interest in Sinnoh in the interest of propagating the word of the Alpha. From the moment of its inception, the Creed has become the "heart of Sinnoh" without which the people, they believe, would fall into irreparable despair. It is a vocal detractor of the Galactic Corporation, claiming them to be desensitizing the people to the plight of Pokemon and the planet while doing needless harm to the environment.

The Alpha
Also known as the Original One. The Alpha Creed worships the Alpha as the creator and guardian of the universe and its inhabitants. It is said that the Alpha was born in the chaos of the Zero, the eternal nothingness which forms the beginning and end of reality, after which He formed the world from the powers and elements of the world.

The Zero
Quote Origin: In the beginning, there was the Zero, the eternal void from which the Alpha and the elements that make up reality were born. The concept of the Zero is precisely opposite of the Alpha.

The Elements
Seventeen distinct concepts which make up the universe, gathered up by the Alpha and used to form the universe.

The Plates
A collection of objects infused with the power of the elements, used in the building of the world; whole Plates can still be found all around the world, particularly in the Underground of Sinnoh.

Mt. Coronet
The great mountain that divides Sinnoh into its western and eastern halves. It is said by the Origin Myth to be the first mountain in the world from the top of which the Original One created the land, the sea, and the sky, making it, according to the Creed, the center of the universe.

Hearthome Cathedral
The largest Church of Originism in Sinnoh, it was converted into the primary home of the Creed when they came into power. It is the center of their congregation and houses a great many secrets. Though it is the most well-guarded of all the Creed's bases, it was infiltrated while the Devouts were away to Jubilife, and a number of their artifacts were stolen.

Snowpoint Temple
The secondary facility of the Alpha Creed. Prior to its acquisition, it was a closed facility that only strong trainers could enter upon gaining the approval of the Snowpoint Gym Leader. It is an ancient temple of the Seven Point Mythology which relates to the olden worship of the Great Beast and its three Golems, including housing an avatar of the Beast, itself, until it was destroyed; it was later replaced by a statue. Under the ownership of the Creed, it has become central in teaching outsiders about the Creed and its sister myths, but the Galactic Corporation has ransacked it two to three times, the final time destroying it entirely. Under the rubble, there is now a solid, unbreakable ball which is made entirely of Dawn Stone.

Regi Shrines
Located on Iron Island, in Mt. Coronet, and in Battle Zone, the three Regi Shrines are scattered caves in Sinnoh which Archaeologist Cheryl has called "call points" of the three Legendary Golems, though the exact meaning of this is unknown. The Creed has shown a marked interest in them.

Artifacts
A number of miniatures statues that were kept in the Hearthome Cathedral, Galactic Grunts infiltrated and stole a great number of them and hit out in Oreburgh Gate for months. The statues are said to be ancient and full of many secrets relating to the history of Sinnoh and the Origin Myth. Despite this claim, their value may be high, but their purpose is unknown.

Windmill Plans
Blueprints for a new type of windmill, drawn up by the Galactic Corporation. The plans were copied and stolen by the Creed, who then hid out in Eterna Forest for months on end. They claimed to steal the plans in order to expose them to the region and prove the Corporation's intent to withhold the efficient new windmill, but this claim was diffused due to the lack of wind to power any such windmill. It has since become apparent that the plans were used to crack the defense of the beta windmill on top of Eterna HQ, allowing their Rotom to infiltrate the infrastructure of the HQ.

Veilstone Meteors
A set of four meteors that fell in Veilstone long ago, their wonder is what first attracted tourists to the city, allowing the city to thrive. They have been a subject of study for a long time, and scientists have likened their strange properties to that of Iron Island, which in turn is linked to Dawn Stones. They were stolen early in the league season; the Galactic Corporation blames the Creed, but the Creed denies involvement.

Seven Gems
A set of seven artifacts which were housed in the Snowpoint Temple. Long ago, they were used in prayer by practitioners in the Seven Point Religion, and thus they are related in some way to the Great Beast. Their exact properties are unknown. They were stolen early in the league season; the Creed blames the Galactic Corporation, but the Corporation denies involvement.

Mysterious Tome
A book possessed by key members of the Alpha Creed and now in the possession of Omicron. This tome is a collective anthology of Origin Mythology, but its contents are difficult to understand. The book possesses a strange power, making it impossible to read further into it until earlier chapters are understood.

Interpol
The International Police. Where regional police affairs are not sufficient, Interpol is called into action, possessing authority which can run against entire governments within reason. One of the faces of Interpol is Inspector Looker.

Underground
A network of underground tunnels and mines which have been built under Sinnoh for decades. Primarily dug into for the purpose of finding valuable materials, the network has become so vast lately that its layout now rivals the overworld; as such, some folk have chosen to live here.

The UG
The UG is an abbreviation for the Underground, but its use specifically denotes the societies within. The UG consists of a number of habitable underground towns with a massive city at its core. It is noted as a place of unruliness and anarchy where people go when they wish to escape the problems of the overworld.

Underground League
In the UG, there is a Pokemon League parallel to the overworld's. Unlike its topside counterpart, however, there is no organized tournament, and trainers simply choose to fight one-another in battles without rules or consequence, the purest form of battle. At the apex of the Underground League and serving as the only possible authoritative body are the Underground Elites.

Three Lakes
Lake Verity, Lake Acuity, and Lake Valor, which are scattered around the Sinnoh region. They are said to house the spirits of emotion, knowledge, and willpower, the essences of spirit, which drive man and Pokemon to do things both great and terrible. Team Galactic stole their spirits from them in the past, but more recently, they have fallen more poignantly within the interests of the Creed; however, the waters are still and no spirits have been sighted in their caves recently.

Time of Black Sky
The doomsday event that took place in 017 in which the sky over the entire world turned black. The event is linked to a number of apocalyptic omens around the world, but it would have been written off as a merely terrifying time were it not for the utter destruction of Hoenn that coincided with its passage. After the Time of Black Sky, the wind stopped, the seas went wild, and the earth began to rot. Little is known about the events that cause the event, but the Great Beast, Regigigas, apparently both caused and prevented apocalyptic scenarios, and many people were affected. Those who survived the events of Hoenn are known as Black Sky Veterans.

Great Beast
The central figure of the Seven Point Mythology, Regigigas, who commands yet is chained by the Legendary Golems. A figure of the Great Beast existed in Snowpoint Temple for the longest time, but it was destroyed by unknown means and replaced with a statue. The Great Beast has been sighted in a number of regions, but its true form was awakened in Hoenn during the Time of Black Sky. It caused a great deal of destruction, shrouding the Seven Point Myth in a darkness few are willing to acknowledge, but it is also hailed as a figure of hope by the few remaining practitioners of the myth.

Team Plasma
A team that was active in the Unova region. Inspector Looker, with the help of Pokemon Trainers Black and White, ended their activities, though apparently only for a while.

Seven Sages
The seven leaders of Team Plasma who facilitated their activities as well as their system of beliefs. Most of their whereabouts are unknown.

Battle Frontier
Established both in Sinnoh and in Johto, the Battle Frontier is a top-tier battleground where only the strongest trainers are allowed to enter. It is closed for this league season, but the Tower Tycoon, Pearl, can be summoned on command.

PokeTopia
Established by Mysterial on a remote island, PokeTopia is another form of Battle Frontier. Other than Mysterial, it is run by three Colosseum Masters and six Colosseum Leaders. The Hearthome Gym Leader, Sashay, is one of the Colosseum Masters.

Magma Stone
A glowing red stone that emits constant heat, found in the center of Mt. Stark. Its properties are unknown.

Sinnoh NOW!
Sinnoh's local news network which reports to the letter the events of Sinnoh as they relate to the everyday life of its citizens.

SCW
Sinnoh Championship Wrestling, a professional wrestling company that operates in Sinnoh and progenitor of the longest running episodic weekly television show in the history of sports entertainment. Crasher Wake is its World Heavyweight Champion of the World.

Mason Laboratory
Set up in Heart Town, Dr. Mason's lab was established in 010 as a combination electronic development facility and trading card game seller. Mason, himself a fanatical card player, worked with his tech aides Sam and Aaron to develop technology to enhance the children's card game, starting off notable card players on their journey to collect the Club Medals and take on the Grand Masters. Ever since the inception of Pokemon training in Trade, however, Dr. Mason's lab has since shifted is paradigm to working alongside Malus Labs and Devon Corp to produce new technology, including the e-Reader. Mason Labs are heavily credited with Trade's technological boom.

PokeDex
The Pokemon Index, or PokeDex. V7.3, the "e-Model", is the latest edition of the PokeDex developed under the supervision of Prof. Malus in cooperation with Mason Labs and Devon Corp. In addition to the by-now standard email, telephone, and encyclopedic knowledge, it continues the new trend of the "personal model" by coming in four color-coded flavors, and additional functions have been added to give it access to CenterNet and Chatalk, as well as a direct physical interface with the e-Reader V1.0

e-Reader
Developed by Mason Labs in cooperation with Devon Corp, the e-Reader is an invention inspired by debiting systems which utilizes coded cards to interface with the Trade Archipelago Centerstructure. Combining elements of the Pokemon trading card game with Pokemon training, it was designed to streamline the purchase and use of Poke Balls and other such items, as well as to link parties and inventories in a singular system kept behind a series of security measures; no Pokemon e-Card can be used on an e-Reader it is not registered to, rendering Pokemon and item theft extremely difficult.

Pokemon Trading Card Game
A Trading Card Game about Pokemon. Before Pokemon Training became the norm in the Trade Archipelago, people passed the time by playing this particular games, and entire cities were build around its concept. Tournaments are still periodically held all around Trade and Great, and many cards are being reprinted to have e-Reader functionality.

Legendary Cards
When the Pokemon TCG was at the peak of its popularity, the Grand Masters offered the Legendary Cards as prizes for competing the Trading Card League and defeating each of them in a battle. The cards - GB Articuno, GB Zapdos, GB Moltres, and GB Dragonite - were put in the hands of Mark, Ronald, and Mint at a number of times before becoming the centerpiece of the conflict with Team Great Rocket, who wanted the cards at all costs and apparently succeeded. Their significance to the card game is noted, but their importance to Team Great Rocket was never made apparent. With the return of Team GR, the pursuit of the Legendary Cards seems to have been revived.

Grand Masters
The Elite Four of the Trade Archipelago, they were named the Grand Masters due to being the four strongest Pokemon Trainers in a region of very few. Due to the vacuum of power, they instated the Trading Card League and became its Elite Four as well. They act as the island's guardians and are a significant part of the government, having helped pull the island together after the Great War.

Team Great Rocket
An evil gang of card thieves led by King Villicci who originally owned what is now known as Great Island. They came to Trade Island and brainwashed, kidnapped, and otherwise attacked a number of figures in the card game world in a bid to acquire the Legendary Cards, succeeding multiple times over. They were defeated in card games by Mark, Mint, and Ronald before being totally crushed by the Grand Masters and their Pokemon, planting the seeds of the Pokemon training renaissance of Trade. A decade after becoming defunct, Team Great Rocket appears to have cropped up again in the form of the GR Masks who previously took over Trade; however, there appear to now more of them.

Devon Corp
A Hoenn-based company formerly headed by Devon Stone, Devon Corp is a technological juggernaut in the world of Pokemon. They used to produce the PokeNav but have since integrated all of its features into other devices, such as the V7+ PokeDexes. They have an establishment in the Trade Archipelago and work in tandem with both Mason Labs and the WSC.

World Salvation Committee
Also known as the WSC, the World Salvation Committee is a buzz term that has been passed around only recently. The public knows little. Its known members include Prof. Luisliu Rowan and Prof. Gideon Malus, with contributions from Dr. Mason.

Golden Rule, Inc.
An organization set in the Trade Archipelago that deals in "good will". It is a cornerstone of charitable operations within the region and otherwise sells varying types of happiness, from financial salvation to greeting cards. They accept donations and will direct their

Trading Card Club
Now often coinciding with Gyms or Contest Halls, Trading Card Clubs are where Club Masters reside and can be challenged for a Club Medal. Acquiring eight Club Medals allows Pokemon Duelists to go to the Pokemon Dome and challenge the Grand Masters in a gauntlet of four duels for the Legendary Cards.
