I have a question does this comic's megaman have to follow the 3 laws of robotics?

I don't have anything useful to contribute, but kudos on the title for the thread...

but what does that misplaced pixel mean? is it an accident, or is it some clue that we aren't supposed to get until afterwards?

Well, you know how college is. You're sitting there in your dorm room wearing nothing but your panties and a t-shirt that's far too tight, doing your advanced calculus homework, and your super-hot roommate who you've got a huge crush on comes in and says that the engineering student down the hall needs some help with a practical example of the benefits of flexibility in architecture, and the next thing you know you're making the beast with twelve backs and you've somehow increased a bust size.

Not necessarily.

If this is the same Megaman from the cartoon, then no, he doesn't need to follow the three laws because he's a living being and not a robot anymore.

We can tell Light is not telling Megaman the whole truth, Light goes from looking at Capt. SNES' database entry to telling Megaman that Amon is looking for him.

I find that Light reading the advance database interesting. We know Ryan has been going over Lucca's notes, but I guess we now know what happened to Gameboy, he's part of Nexus city's (at least) computer system (we can tell it's Nexus due to the skyscrapers outside that can be seen through the window). Kinda makes sense, as the gameboy advance is the closest handheld so far to the SNES.

I mentioned in the last thread that I thought that advance must have been intergrated into the nexus system, seeing how he just upped and disappeared. So my question is how did advance's database get all this information, and who filled it out and what does it have to do with the monkeyspank virus.

Gameboy might have done it itself via watching and listening to the subject through video and sound hookups when they've visited Nexus, who knows how tied into the city he is? Maybe sort of like Vicki from I, Robot was wired into the USR building, only on a much larger scale. Our version might be a "current as of Alex's imprisionment" version, therefore Alex might be the source (while, as of this comic, it might be more bare boned). Advance might have passed through all of Videoland on a fact finding mission before intergration, and used what he learned to create the database.

If Gameboy is being effected by the SoS, he might of created it. Or Light/Wily could've wrote it (along with, or independant of, Gameboy) as part of their plans. The virus might have been made as a way to keep someone King Charles thought would become one of Videolands greatest warriors under wraps. It might have nothing to do with each other. smile.gif

or maybe I know this is crazy but what if when leveling up and adventuring maybe sprites history, attitude, and power and skill are on imprinted on their code so if Advance can just read their code...yes I know its a lame and not very good answer but its possible.

Actully that makes perfect sense. And that how Advances Goggles would work for the Captain too.

It's possible that Light knows something we & Alex don't. I remember there was a comic in which Alex was questioning whether or not he was actually the pawn of the SoS, and that possibility wasn't exactly spelled out. The way I figure it is that Light & Wily know something about the SoS, espescially Alex's part in what happens, and the good doctors plan on taking a proactive approach.

Anyway, I suppose I should introduce myself as well...yo.

What I've always wondered is, how does Alex know everything that is going on around videoland even though he isn't there?

Same way Captain N knew which warp zone lead to where, I think.
