I'm sure we had somethign like this once, but I can't find it now. Regardless, I just want to point out real quick how HORRIBLY they're butchering Spider-man right now.
Okay, quick show of hands. Who thinks Spider-man got his powers from a radioactive/genetically engineered Spider? Okay, now who thinks Spider-man actually got his powers from the Spider-totem, an ancient mystic spirit and that Peter is just the last in a long line of people to be given Spider powers? Sadly, the current writer on the series has said it's the second one. Also, he's introduced a villian MORE POWERFUL THAN ANYTHING SPIDER-MAN HAS EVER FOUGHT BEFORE!!!!!!!!!!!! that wants to eat the guy, and has recnetly bit out Spider-man's eye. On the flipside, Cable and Deadpool is a really good series and they've started up another Evil Dead limited that puts Ash up against Wilbur Whatley and the Re-Animator. |

but but but the whole reason about spider man is that he does not fight for vengence, He fights so he never makes that mistake he made before with Ben. And and and they just ripped up his personlity completely. It's like hes Venom, but not as cool as he was than. THE FUCKING HELL!

Plus the fact that part of Spider-man appeal is that he's a normal joe that happened to be in the right place at the right time and got powers. Now he struggles with being a hero.
Except now he was destined to be a hero, he lives with the Avengers, and this was all before he became a freak. |

Not anymore. Spider-man is a member of the Avengers.
The current lines up is: Wolverine Spider-man Captain America Ironman Luke Cage who isn't wearing any kind of costume A Superman like guy caled Sentry Ronin/Echo a really obscure Daredevil character and the original Spider-Woman Oh, and Aunt May and MJ live in the Avenegrs Tower as well. |

Just so you know, the current Spider-man writer is also the guy who wrote Babylon 5.
Basically Marvel wanted names that people could recognize to bring in new readers. So they got him, and the guy who wrote the House party Movies to write Black Panther. On average, Black Panther is worse and rascist. The author has responding to every bit of critisism (regardless to what it's about) with the fact that "readers just can't handle a strong black character." Anyway, back to the good stuff, so this isn't a completley negative thread, Marvel megamorphs was rather intertaining. marvel Superheroes in custom made Mechs fighting Dom and Dr. octopus. Classy stuff there. |
