Hi all
I haven't raced before, I'm 23 and I took up cycling last year and have only completed the Iron Mountain sportive event so far but I would really like to start racing this year, however I would prefer to start in women's races, I have found a few beginner racer friendly womens races and thought I would ask if there are any other women who would be interested in also doing these races, thought it would make sense to travel together to share costs and offer support and the extra motivation ! These are good events to start racing at.
I am running a womens workshop for Ajax members on saturday feburary 11th. The session at the end is aimed at letting everyone know which events and which disciplines would be good for them. If plenty of people attend we can get groups of people together who can organise themselves with help to go to events in groups and suuport each other. I will also give information on how and when to enter. I hope you can join us. :) |
