Corrin Tronk sat in the Cafe sipping his large mug of coffee. It was an open air cafe set in the capital city of the Zierathan Alliance, Castle Zierath.

It was a wonderful spot for a cafe, Corrin thought to himself. It sat on a slight rise so you could see over the smaller two story houses that dominated the residential area. To the south, one could even see the Castle itself. Its seven towers spiked up above the walls, and even from here, seven miles away, and five miles from the Preserve Walls, it was an impressive structure. Sunlight reflected off its marble light gray walls.

To the east was the business district, and to the west was a Hunt spire and one of the local secondary schools. Classes were in session, and would be out in about two hours, hundreds of teenagers would flock to this locataion.

The south - and the sky - was dominated by the neighborhood niurb tree. Its branches spread out hundreds of feet in every direction - accept down. He cafe itself had its rear wall actually partly inside the niurb. As he looked up at the niurb, he could see some of the apartments built into the massive tree. He was a little envious. Niurb apartments were one of the places that his size kept him from visiting.

Corrin Tronk was a bronton - a brontosaurus man. When standing, his shoulders were ten feet off the ground, and his long neck and head added another four feet to his overall height. Like all brontons, he walked on two feet and had a long heavy tail he used for balance. His head was triangular; he had a broad mouth as the base of the triangle and his breathing holes at the top of his head. His eyes were black, and his skin was a deep leathery brown. He wore a Zierathan-style stunic; it had elbow length sleeves, and the bottom went down to his knees. it was belted at the waist, and from the belt hung a large, heavy mace. He wore black leather boots and wristbands.

Corrin looked around at the other sentients who were sitting in the cafe.

EDIT BY LORD HAFMENE:Lutz then just follow suite as if you were really there. Either make up a charictor or go with your normal one. If you ever played any of the RPG games during the UB summer with the dice and stuff its kinda like that only minus the dice and cards and its just ur imagination.

((occ - meaning out of character - actually avoid your imrhys character. Cafe Zierath will focus on characters who are not Imrhys, like Corrin. Create a character from one of our races and go at it. You have the first setting. Have fun.))

The Green Hammer entered the Cafe. He was a tall praying-mantis man creature named a mantien (in Abatwar other areas call em differnently). He was feeling a little lackluster because recent failures, and was looking for a sucessful quest to be part of. Perhaps someone with a little more mental capability to plan for him, and he could go into battle with hammers swinging. He was not to bright, of course, although unlike many mantiens he had achieved a small level of autonomy from the Hive Mother, the Queen of the Mantiens, and the center for Group Think. The Green Hammer, was a brownish-green mantien, with two huge hammers strapped to his back, and no other clothing. He was always searching for his brother, the brains of his family. He was was newly come from a failed mission in Abatwar, we he was beaten close to death by Algennor, the Draco-Mantien general of Abatwar. He lost a powerful artifact licked his wounds, and realized he wasnt up for challenging that type of power.
He looked around the room and noticed the brontosaurus man.
Now there was a formindable looking warrior, perhaps he had a quest or so. However, even with Green Hammer's limited intelligence, he knew both of them would need a brain. He stepped forward nonetheless and introduced himself
"Hey tall reptile man, my name is Green Hammer, how are you today?"

Thebig brontosaurus man looked at the ragged mantien with interest. "I'm doing well, Green Hammer. I'm Corrin Tronk. You look like you could use some refreshment, and it just so happens, today happens to be treat-a- mantien-to-dinner day here in Cafe Zierath," Corrin smiled broadly. "What would you like?"

The mantien looked the bronto man over, in Abatwar you have to be careful when someone offers you something, but he had traveled for a long time and learned the rare virtue of trust. That and the fact that he could take care of himself against just about anything. He thought to himself "This man will make a good ally." He smiled at the bronto man and said "I will have some water if you please." He then took a seat at the bronto man's table. "Hmm treat a mantien day, huh?" "Sounds good, I will have everything on the menu as well, " said the Green Hammer slyly trying to test the mettle of the bronto man.

Riley the Agile ran up the street, catching sight of Cafe Zierath, her favorite spot to blend into the general public. She wheeled quickly in an arc, entering the cafe and darted to the side, away from the window as whatever had been chasing her ran past the cafe. She sighed in relief and shook herself to settle her emotions; that was the third time this month that she had something chasing her. "I gotta get that problem figured out" she thought to herself. She shook her head, hearing her earrings delicately ring. She purred as she fluffed her hair and adjusted her weapons belt that held three sheathed daggers, and walked up to the corner to order her favorite coffee.

"The usual Riley?" the guy at the counter asked. She smiled and nodded, paying for the coffee drink. Riley knew that she was probably being watched the two tall creatures that had been chatting when she unexpectedly entered the cafe. She didn't care, she was used to the staring. Considered an oddity by both of her races, she toed the line often. That's what happens when you have an elf for a father and a cat-person for a mother: you walk the fine line between both worlds. The guy handed Riley her drink. "You should be more careful girl; whatever is chasing you is going to catch you one of these days," he said worriedly. She laughed a silvery laugh. "Oh you don't need to worry about me, I'll be fine. Thanks for the good coffee," she said as she lightly caressed the guy's chin with her cat claw like nails, her deep green eyes sparkling with mirth as she sleekly walked over to a table, and sat down to enjoy her coffee and the book she pulled from her pack.

Corrin stopped for a moment and blinked big, brown eyes. "Okay, then. Bardo, One of everything." The big bronton eyed the greenish-brown mantien through slit eyes. "Just as long as I get to share in the meal."

He looked over at the other customer, a pretty cat-woman with elven features. "Come on over, milady. We're feasting here this afternoon."

Corrin invited the mantien to sit. "Those are some nasty looking hammers you've got there, friend."

The Green Hammer, quickly stands up and gives a stiff formal bow to the newly entered feline-woman and says "Yes, but quite necessary, ever been to Abatwar?" He gently taps his hammers, "Besides, the name is Green Hammer, and one does have to live up to one's name, he says with a pleasant tone."
Green Hammer then turns back to the bronton and says "I must thank you sir, I do indeed have a healthy apetite, and we will need it, if you wish to help me, because even a Ring-renowned warior such as myself, needs help with what I wish to endeavor."
"So what say you bronton man, and my fine feline friend will you help?" he says anxiously . . . . "Hmm though of course I have yet to have your names, though, too, how very rude of me . . . "

Riley looked up at the two tall creatures as the reptile-looking man invited her to join them, and the other creature introduced himself as Green Hammer. She smiled in reply. "I would love to," she said as she put away her book into her pack. She stood and picked up her coffee drink, walking over to the two men. "Abatwar? I don't think I have," said Riley as she set down her coffee on the table. "What would a fine warrior such as you need help with? By the way, I'm Riley....Riley the Agile. And you are?" she asked cocking her head to the side, her deep green eyes assessing the tall reptile-looking man as Bardo brought over their feast.

“Oh, yes, several times. My work takes me many places. - I'm a security specialist.” Corrin laughed, a deep tuba-like sound. “Your homeland is an extremely exciting place, Green Hammer. Your brethren are very protective of the desert.”

Corrin smacked the top of his head - right on his breathing hole - in what would be the equivilent of a human smacking his forehead. "My apologies, how careless of me. I am Corrin Tronk, and you both caught me on a very good day," the bronton said, reaching out and grabbing a niurb fruit from the plate of fruit Bardo had brought out. "I have just received a healthy cashcoin advance on my next comission."

Riley chuckled, the sound very much like a purr from a deeply contented feline. "Greetings Corrin Tronk. And what might that commission be? Or is that confidential?" she asked with an inquizative twinkle as she shook her cup at Bardo for a refill. Bardo came over. "The same Riley?" he asked. She nodded and handed him the cashcoins for it and her cup. "Add another shot of peppermint, ya? I need the boost," she said as she daintily crossed her sleekly muscled legs, her cloak falling back off her shoulders. Bardo went behind the counter and fixed her drink as Riley picked up a piece of fruit. He returned with the cup. "Perhaps these two will give you a hand with your problem if you help them," said Bardo receiving a very vexed glare from Riley as she took her cup back.

At that moment during the converstaion a barely noticable creature about 3 feet in height named Nerkos walked into the cafe. Nerkos was a Khobald, the smallest of the gobleen races and starting to be repoplutated around the world after the Third Gnarrhys war. Anyway the Kobald race are coverd in a soft downy fur in this case Nerkos was a Light Blackish Dark brownish color, He had a long dog like snout and long ears. He was told he had unusually large ears which helped him in some ways but not all because as Nerkos was walking into the cafe he ran smack into this big brown pole with toes and fell backwards.

He looked up and all he saw was 14 feet of creature standing over him. All he could say was "Uhhhh...."

Riley looked over to the doorway as her finely tuned hearing picked up the voice of a very small creature standing in the doorway. Her eyes assessed the dark brown furred Khobald. "I'm Riley the Agile and this is Corrin Tronk and Green Hammer. And you are little one?" she asked, her eyes twinkling with mirth.

“Nay, it’s not confidential at all…” Corrin began as a small kobald came into the Café. The 3 foot tall being walked smack dab into his leg.

“Ah…that was my leg, Master Kobald…” Corrin rumbled. He reached down to help the little sentient up. The bronton’s hand was the same size as the khobalds leg. With ease, the black-brown khobald was back on his feet.

“Certainly not entitled ‘the agile’,” Corrin chuckled. “You certainly don’t see to many khobalds around yet. There is a certain amount of bigotry and fear connected to your race. After all, most of your race went mad in the Third Gnarrhys War.”
