OOC: I'm just going to start this off. If anyone has any questions, about the basic plot that will evolve as the story progresses, no doubt, then go to this link.

My character is Aileen Tiar. Thank you.

IC:

Aileen wandered through the lit streets. The covered sky above her had already fallen into darkness, giving her a perfect cover to roam. She did not understand where she was anymore. Everything looked so different, even the buildings did not look the same. She did not believe herself to be in England either. The people she heard speaking when the sun was up did not have her accent or anything resembling her accent, although they still spoke English. That was a relief for her.

Aileen stopped in an alley, feeling exhaustion overcome her. She had not eaten at all the entire day. Some metal contraptions lined the street she was on. There were wheels on it of some unknown material. How people used them, she did not completely know. She noticed that only a few of the metal things moved at night, although most moved during they day. She figured they moved people from place to place.

Aileen sat on the ground in one of the cleanest areas in the alley. Her eyes felt heavy, but she couldn't sleep either. There were too many questions unanswered. She wondered how the blade she now wore on her back did this to her and what that guy really was. She took off her hat, her hair falling free. The loose strands fell to her middle back.

It was at that moment, a bright light passed by the alley's entrance. Squinting to protect her eyes, Aileen felt herself thankful that a small metal container blocked her from view. Metal, she figured, held a large part of the place she found herself in now. After a quick moment, the light faded and Aileen put her head against the wall. "Where am I," she asked to the darkness.

OOC: I have posted my character here.
http://z4.invisionfree.com/ChillOut_Zone/i...p?showtopic=116

IC:
Sparx had been yet on another mission, she was on a mission to stop this robber who had kidnapped the ruler of planet Zin to get to his riches. Planet Zin had was a very rich planet Thought she had been hearing allot of rumor that this robber was stupid and he tried it with Helta but couldn’t come anywhere near the atmosphere because they were already on the lookout for him. But there was another rum ore that he carried a weird machine with him.

Sparx was on Planet Zin running after the robber though the crows of aliens from all over the universe. She pushed past allot of them since they came in all weird shapes and sizes. Some even pointed at her and some didn’t care less since Delta are sometimes classed as the bad guys. She then stopped in the middle of the crowd.
*Eh, I lost him?*
Thought Sparx as his energy disappeared but it was popping out here and there, she could see so on her vision it was a small bar jumping up and down every so often, it didn’t go past the 30 mark. That meant he was weak.
*He isn’t good a hiding it is he?*
Thought Sparx. She then walked through the crowd slower this time.
*So, why send a commando such as myself to do this mission?*
Thought Sparx as a young Delta could have done this mission.
*But it could have something to do with that machine…Eh, what!?*
Thought Sparx as she was suddenly cut off, her vision then shrunk into blackness and all her systems suddenly switched off. It was like turning off an old TV and the picture shrunk into a little coloured spot in the middle of the screen and completely disappear.

A few hours later Sparx woke up and looked around. And was shocked, it was freezing and so much different then where she was, it had her systems in knots. As there was red alerts telling her all weird stuff as if they were not working. But it was the sudden shut down. She then brought up the map in her vision and zoomed out hoping to see planet Delta but she completely zoomed out and found out she was in the Milky Way galaxy on earth. And her date and time where all saying ‘0’ like there was no time and date.
*Ok, where I’m I?*
Thought Sparx, she was laying on the floor, she didn’t even know. She got back up and looked around. She was shocked. She then went into her memory banks and every what happened over the past six hours was gone.
*Oh crap, I’ve been wired or something…*
Thought Sparx wired means kind of the same as hacked. She also noticed that her power core was in protective mod, meaning she could draw any thing from it if a fight came along, it was kind of working on a programing that was set for safty.

Aileen remained in the alley, shivering from the coolness of the night. In an attempt to stay warm, the girl brought her legs closer to her body and began to rub her arms. She wondered if she would ever get back home again. Even if she could not go back soon, she made it her goal to get back. The cold nipped her from her thoughts once more and a disgruntled noise escaped her.

Aileen looked at the hilt of the blade she had been given. Why exactly it was given to her was a mystery she knew she wouldn't solve. How she was supposed to use it as well seemed like something she would learn the hard way. Squeezing her eyes shut in frustration, Aileen fought back tears. She still did not know where, or when, she was. She would try to find that out in the morning, she figured.

Looking around the alley, her night vision finally being regained, Aileen looked for some type of covering. The alley hardly gave her anything, though she managed to find a bag of rags. They were all filthy, something she had grown used to in her time in the slums. Aileen piled the few rags over her body and leaned against one of the metal boxes and closed her eyes, praying that she survive the night.

OOC: What type of place is your character in Midnight?

IC: Sparx then got up and began to walk around. Looking at everything, she really could not make out where she was, just some where on earth. But she couldn’t figure out where on Earth and she couldn’t telepathically talk to any of the Sliver Blades because they where 3.8 Mission light years away, she could only talk to someone if she could feel there energy and she could only teleport 2.2 light years. But even if she could sense there energy she would teleport and then stop half way or get lost by going through a worm hole since her energy would be bound to bump into one. It seemed like it was night time, she looked up the sky and it was almost the same colour as Delta’s night time sky, but Delta’s was closer to black.

OOC: She's in an inner city type place. Somewhere in North America I'm thinking. Oh, it's the late '60s, too.

IC:
Aileen felt the darkness close in around her. She felt herself come even closer to the abyss of sleep, when her eyes suddenly flared open, her pupils small with fright. The noise that awakened her first, were unmistakably gunshots. They were quick and loud, just like home. She sat up quickly, her shabby attempt at a blanket fell to the ground. She leaned forward, looking toward either end of the alleyway, everything seemed calm around her. The sound of gunshots echoed far here, there were many surfaces for the sound to bounce off of.

Aileen sighed and ran a hand through her ratty hair. The shots sounded like they were approaching fast and her hand went instinctively to the knife she had with her when she arrived there. I can fight off grown men, she boasted to herself, trying to muster up some courage. She stood up, placing the knife in her mouth while she managed the tangled hair into her cap. Then she removed the knife and held it tightly.

Soon, another sound accompanied the gunfire. The high pitch of the new noise surprised her. It went up and down in intervals and she did not know the meaning of it. Aileen, however, knew better than to remain in a stupor over something as trivial as a noise. She had to remain safe in order to survive until morning. That was something she did every day for the past few years.

Sparx then heard a noise it was faint but she had kind of heard it before. She then looked up around her at the night sky and saw noting and no energies.
*What an odd place.*
Thought Sparx as she looked at all the buildings that were very small and there was no air traffic.
*it seems primitive here…*
Thought Sparx again as she walked forward, she sensed no energies and didn’t think noting off the gunshots after that. She left like asking someone, but whom? And what if she didn’t speak Earthling. It was split up into over 100 languages.

Aileen carefully stepped toward the mouth of the alley. Perhaps no one would notice if she ran along the street. She had to stay away from the gunfire, although she did not know what time it was in the evening. She thought she dozed for a few hours at least. Looking down the street one way, Aileen saw no one walking. If there had been anyone there, they were in the darkness. She carefully skirted to the other side of the alley to look down the other way. The lights that lit the street were not placed well and she could not see if there had been any one in the darkness.

Taking a chance, Aileen ran into the street. She felt the weight of the blade on her more so now that she was moving. She kept her head down, to avoid having the light that flooding only small bits of road from blinding her. She had no idea where she headed. Hopefully she could find a way out of the labyrinth that she found herself in. Maybe she would find someone who could give her shelter. Perhaps a church could be found, that would give her sanctuary. Perhaps, if she found a place to stay, she would not have to explain the blade on her back.

Aileen laughed silently at her own thoughts. People would surely stare at the blade on her back and ask why she carried it. It would not go over well, she knew. She hoped she could find some place in solitude and stay the night in safety. She wondered what the gangs in this place did. Probably, they just did the shootings to make their territories known. What did this place come to? She wondered. In her neighborhood, it was the strongest in fights, not who can kill the most. Disgust ran through her at the thought of it. She was glad, however, that as she ran, the sound of gunshots became more distant.

Sparx then continued to slowly walk thought the streets and look at all the buildings; her attention was then drawn to a pub that seemed very busy, she then walked over and pushed through the doors. She stood there looking at every one; there was drunken laughter in the air, people sitting at the bar and people playing darts. Because she just stood there people would look around for a moment and then turn back to what they were doing and then some would continue staring. Sparx then walked back out the door. She then continued to walk up the road there was people outside of the dub she walked along looking at each one of them.

Aileen turned down a street randomly. Her stamina kept up well, surprising her. She could now hardly feel the blade on her back. She marveled at the strength she carried in her small frame. Never before had she run such a distance, or with such a load. It made her wonder what exactly was actually going on. Her muscles did not feel as though they were on fire as they should.

The street she now traveled was more populated and the buildings seemed to be awake with the light flooding out of their windows. She could read a little and recognized some of the words on the windows. Some said pubs, other said something about food. Aileen realized that she had slowed to a walk. The conversation of some of the people, either drunk or otherwise, swirled around her.

She could feel the stares of all types of people. She knew it wasn't just the sword that made them wonder about her. Aileen saw that her clothes were different as well. Most wore strange colors, some she had never pictured to be part of cloth. Some of their clothes swirled with colors, trapping her eyes until she found the strength to pull away. She wondered if anyone would stop her walking and try to talk to her. For the most part, they seemed to stay away. She figured it was because she looked filthier than they.

Sparx continued to walk she looked at all the people she saw, they where different from any Delta’s. Though she did have brown hair that seemed normal among Human’s, but it was night time and the colour of her eyes wouldn’t show up so much. Her uniform seemed quite odd, but then again since she was in the 60’s it didn’t make a big difference. The height was a difference though and she couldn’t tell the ages of the people. She guessed the smaller people where the youngest since she knew that Human’s where born very small. She then came near to the end of the street and then around both the corners was yet more lively activity. She didn’t really know that people slept at night time since her own kind ever really slept. This made their lives feel long. But she found the drunken ones very odd how they would walk out of the dub or night club then start laughing for no reason. Only half her vision systems where working so she could not find out there heart beat, emotions, body language, thoughts and so much more about the person. She couldn’t even since energies that well.
*They need time to router then reboot.*
Thought Sparx, since they were knocked out my some kind of static electricity while she was teleported. Plus she hit the floor hard since there was 30% around her head area, there was a damage status in her vision and her torso, both legs and right arm where green. Her left arm was a light green with a light yellow being 10% damage and her head was a yellow meaning 30%.

Aileen bit her lip against the stare. She held no fear of these people; they were mostly drunk anyway. Her grip on her knife tightened as she walked. If needed, she would use it for defense. She never blindly attacked a person unless they made her extremely angry. Aileen just liked to have peace of mind when walking alone in the dark. No one was truly safe in the darkness, she knew.

She looked around her, seeing some people walking the same way as she. Although Aileen knew they could just be walking, but something told her otherwise. Sneaking a look behind her, she noticed two men carrying bottles of what she presumed to be liquor. Quickening her pace, she sought to put the distance between her and the men. Her senses seemed on high alert now. But why would they follow her when they saw the sword on her back. You'd think that would be reason enough to stay away.

Aileen looked back again once she left the brightly lit part of the street and saw the men enter another bar or something. Something inside her swelled with relief and her lips twitched with laughter, though she wouldn't allow herself to laugh aloud. She held the knife, blade flat, on her chest. She had been lucky that time. Although, she thought, they wouldn't have stood a chance against me.

Aileen looked around, hoping that no one was truly following her. She could not call out, lest someone hear her. Then she cursed herself for not trying to find out where she was exactly. But approaching someone looking the way she did now was impossible. They would run at first sight of seeing her. If she wanted answers, she would have to clean herself up a bit.

Sparx had been walking at a slow pase, she was walking this slowly because of all the information she was gathering about the place. Then she came to the conclusion that Earth had been allot different to what she remembered it as.
*Could this be a parallel universe?*
Thought Sparx as she stopped then looked at one of the buildings it was an old being but the Human’s used it has a night club since there was blearing music coming from it. There was nothing odd about until she focused her eyes just below the name of the building that had been engraved in the rock. It said ‘Built 1954’.
*But that’s built it’s not like it is 1954*
Thought Sparx to herself, she then turned around to someone right next to her.
“Hey girl, what you doin’ around ear so late?”
Said the guy, he was swaying meaning he was drunk. Her systems then struggled to pick out the language and upload the files with where there but not in use.
“You just goin’ to looking at me?”
Said the guy he then swag up his arm with a bottle of light coloured beer. He got annoyed quite quick. Sparx then looked at him playing full attention this time.
“What is the year?”
Asked Sparx simply.
“Errr… you don’t know the year?”
Said the guy as he pulled a weird face when saying this.
“Well, that’s why I’m asking you…”
Said Sparx as she was not amused at all by this guy, but then again she thought he was messing with her, she had no idea he was drunk or even what drunk is.
“Erm…. it’s 1967…”
Said the guy, Sparx then was shocked.
*No, surely he didn’t know what he was saying since he seemed like it was out of it.*
Thought Sparx as he looked at the floor slightly panicked. She then walked off and the guy mumbled some thing she didn’t look back, but she walked faster this time up the street.
*I need to think…*
Thought Sparx.
*Damn, I cannot remember what happened; just remember I was on this mission trying to catch this guy. He had some sort of machine in his hand.*
Thought Sparx.
*I got hit my static electricity that’s way my systems are all frazzled then I’m on earth in 1967…. Could it be that guy had a time machine? But if so, where did he get it from. I don’t remember Delta having any time machines that look like that.*
Thought Sparx here memory then faded again. She continued to walk away, then it became quieter but then she heard a next bunch of people might have been another night club, party, dub or something different.

Aileen took herself out of her pensive mood. Standing still only made her defenses less active. Swinging her body around in a circle, she took in her surroundings. The street was still active, though they hardly paid any attention to her now. She took notice of that and made herself feel a tad bit safer. Most of those on the streets were drunken anyway. They would not remember her by the time they get over their hangovers.

She then looked ahead and saw someone who's attire did not match the rest. It reminded her of someone with authority. The man's shirt was a light blue, although his pants were black. She watched him carefully and saw on his uniform a badge. The first thought that crossed her mind was that he did have authority. The next thought was that he not turn her way. To her dislike, he caught her eye. "Hey!" He cried, spying the sword. "You there!"

Aileen, not wishing to be caught in a place like this, ran as fast as she could down the street. She heard the later cries of the man chasing her, bidding her to stop. She did not want to be hunted down, nor did she want to go with the man willingly. He shouted something about the police next and she cursed herself for not moving out of his line of vision before he caught sight of her. If he caught up with her, he would most likely slap some bogus charge on her just to hold her for not being up to standard or something like that.

“This place looks all the same…”
Said Sparx at her usual tone of voice, she wasn’t saying it under her breath this time. Sparx then had a sudden thought after looking at her power levels. It said ‘69%’. If all Sparx did was walk around like she was doing at the very moment her power would last one Delta week, that’s two weeks and half on earth but she didn’t know that.
*I don’t even know the time here, but I guessing it’s quicker then back home.*
Thought Sparx she then would wait for someone to come along so she would talk to them. But it seemed that almost everyone was like the last guy. Sparx then turned the corner and saw a long street.

"Hey! Stop I say!" The officer chasing Aileen continued the chase. Her surprised her with his stamina, although he looked to be fit. She continued her straight path, knowing a sudden turn would only keep him on her trail for a bit longer. She forced herself to swallow saliva while she ran, keeping her throat moist.

The distance between the two of them remained a constant length. She looked behind to see one of his hands at his belt, gripping something. Cursing silently, Aileen stared ahead again, the lights from the pubs and whatever else was open at this time of night suddenly stopped a few feet ahead. The streetlamps were still lit, but she could use the darkness between them to her advantage.

Once she entered the darkness between the first two lamps, she suddenly slowed to a stop. To her right, she barely saw the outline of an alley, leading to another street, she hoped. Quietly, she entered it, hoping her tactics shook him off her trail. Backing into it further, Aileen kept her eyes forward to see if the cop continued the chase. Sure enough, he was, but now he seemed lost and only shouted to the empty air. Aileen then turned around and headed to the end of the alley.

At the end of it, there was an opening to a new street, as she hoped. She released a breath she seemed to have been holding, despite her burning lungs. Aileen stopped and leaned against the wall, her breathing coming in short rasps. It took her several minutes to regain her composure. The running she did all but exhausted her. Aileen was thankful for the darkness of the place she currently stood in.
