i don't see how there can be such a thing as heaven at all!
supposing that heaven is a place without suffering?
surely all you christians have loved ones that are non xian?
how will you feel when your loved ones are being sodomised by the fallen angel in the fires of hell?
surely you will feel sorry for them hence SUFFERING and if you don't feel sorry for them you probably are a cold hearted cuss and shouldn't be in heaven in the first place.
surely the notion of heaven is totally contradictory?

Heaven!

Have you ever had something really bad happen to you? Like really bad? Let me give an example!

I was at my Uncle's funeral and my cousin was really upset... My mother and my cousin and other cousin were walking through the door, and they all got stuck because they were too fat tongue.gif! They laughed! (MY COUSIN LAUGHED AT HER DADS FUNERAL!)

Heaven is like a total mind blowing experience, I personally believe that if you reach heaven you mind will be on how YOU are going to spend eternity, and not how your family is going to.

Remember in heaven families don't exist, just one huge family. The family of God.

Hey,

I agree totally with everything Tom has said... I also think that Heaven will be a place where we are free from the taint of sin in anyway; we will rejoice that God's Justice was done, rather than mourn, for we will be free from attachments higher than our Love for God.

just my thoughts,

In Christ,

LOL

Of course we know He exists. It is a Biblical truth that a person comes into a personal relationship with God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, when they are born-again (Jere. 31:34, John 8:20, John 14:7, Eph. 1:17, 1 John 2:13-14). This is the source of the sureity of true, born-again Christian believers; we know Him personally! He is our martyr (Ps. 22), Shepherd (John 10, Ps. 23) and our King (Ps. 24).

In Christ, who is God (Tit. 2:13)

Absolutely. Robin Hood is, at best, a mythical character, and at worst, entirely ficticious.

Thankfully, Christians have no such problem with Jesus. We have thousands of copies of the eyewitness accounts and there is actually more historical evidence for the existance of Jesus than there is for Julius Caesar -- funnily enough, people are yet to reject his existance.

That is all.

Der Zorn Gottes, regardless of your personal faith you must realise that Jesus (or wahtever name you prefer to use for him) did at some point exist. He was also a kind and wonderful human being. Anything after that is however a point of your own personal faith and it is up to what you are willing to believe.

^ I disagree. I think it's a matter of historical and scholarly enquiry.

I agree that it's impossible to please God without faith (Hebrews 11:6).

I don't think faith is the un-thinking blind acceptance that Dawkins et al. are so fond of knocking down. You might enjoy this article:.

I think you said it right in that we live by faith. I trust God. I don't just decide I'm going to believe something.
