If Hell were a City, this would be it...

8, 430,187 people awoke in Chained City, stripped away from the world by an unknown ruler for his own amusement. They were placed in a dismal, gothic Metropolis to live their lives. Of course, many saw it as an opportunity to create chaos and despair. Trapped in the city, unable to ever leave, The new Citizens of the city watched the climate quickly degenerate into a War Zone. In essence, it is a City sized Prison...created for a sample of humanity to attempt to survive in an Apocalyptic nightmare... There is a twist to this tale. Among the unfortunate populus, walk those the earth had come to both trust and fear, The Heroes and Villains of our greatest nations. Whether this was part of design is unknown. However, most, if not all of earth's mightiest gave up, becoming inactive, unable to make sense of the situation. So, like everyone else trapped there, they faded into the background, while their most evil enemies ran amuck in their own dream come true. Five Years have passed. New bits of hope are stirring within the Prison calling itself a city. Search the skies and the alleys... Even this hell will know the name Savior... But can these extraordinary individuals bring the light needed to lift the people up high enough to stand against the twisted evil of the maniacal observer, who hides behind the name Warden... ...Welcome to Chained City... ...A Prison...A Jail House...A Lockdown... ...A City Hotel...

::Market Square:: On average, the most visited sector of the city, it represents the chief supply center. People trade goods here in a shabby open forum. The path follows the tallest buildings in the city, along which vendors set up small shops to sell goods they've managed to get their hands on. The most concentrated version of Jazz, the powerful narcotic, is sold along these connecting alleys.	0	0	-- In: ---- By:
::Running Spring Tenements:: Considered the Good dwelling, the building sits on the edge of Market Square. Acts of violence tend to less frequent here and those living inside are considered very lucky. However, it saw its share of blood in the first year of population when angry mobs fought for the rights to the complex. It is rumored that mass graves from those killed in the riots are buried in the sewers below this Tenement. Its name refers to the building's running water, a luxury that is scarce in Chained City.	0	0	-- In: ---- By:
::Hairless Kitchen:: Is one of the few sources for food in the city, besides Market Square. Considered the "Good" eating pit, it was affectionately named Hairless Kitchen, because the food is not only tolerable, but there is a less than 25% chance you'll contract a food borne illness after eating here. ::Xavier library:: Named after its founder, Professor Charles Xavier, the library is the only means to which to see the outside world, through one's imagination. Most books here were found by Xavier himself, scattered carelessly throughout the city. Most of them predate 1980, but offer some escape to those still rattled by their unfortunate situation. ::The Gray Walk:: In simplest terms, it is a long, narrow street that connects the North Side, where Market Square is, with The Southern, more dangerous face of Chained City. The Gray Walk stands as the last chance to turn back toward the easier lifestyle of the Northern populus. If it could speak, the words to any passerby would be, Beware!	0	0	-- In: ---- By:
::The Blood Spot Pub:: Every city, no matter the circumstances, has it's thugs, degenerates, and crime lords. Following suit, it must also have a hot spot for these nefarious lowlifes to hang around for recreation. This tavern in the very center of the perpetual night life. The drinks are just the start. Gambling on the Cage Fights, with what little cash flows through the city, provides a blood thirsty distraction. If the booze doesn't kill you, a knife in the in back will. ::The Rat Kitchen:: Another meal stop. The food here is as bad as the side of town its on. In other words, be careful cause your meal just might bite you back, and it'll take more than just an arm.	0	0	-- In: ---- By:
::Itchy Lounge:: A lounge in name only, this trashy complex is used as a burlesque house. The woman here will give you more than company, for a price, of course. ::Death Wish Tenements:: The worst living arrangement in the city. You'd have to hate sleeping on the streets worse than watching your back to want to take up residence in Death Wish. ::Church of Warden:: Few have trespassed inside the walls of the ancient church for fear of the cult that is rumored to reside here. It is said that they were the few who pledged loyalty to The Warden, believing that he was the second coming, send to pure the evil of mankind. ::The Music Factory:: On the most Southern end of the city before you reach the Forest region, lies the giant Chemical processing plant that manufactures the dangerous and singular narcotic, Jazz. It was built shortly after the city was populated, in order for some of the more maniacal residents to establish themselves as higher class. Its run by hired guns, working for a variety of crime lords in Chained City. With no police force, and virtually no resistance, things proceed smoothly.	0	0	-- In: ---- By:
::The Sticks:: The forest region beyond the general city limits. Here you'll find a few bands of the homeless, camping out for warmth and privacy. The woods seem to go on forever in a giant nonsensical maze. Most do not tread too far into The Sticks, because of the Asylum, which lies in a small clearing.	0	0	-- In: ---- By:
::The Asylum:: The ruins are located deep within The Sticks. From eyewitness accounts, the inside looks like that of an abandoned mental institution. The general public of Chained City dismisses it as a rumor. Those who have claimed to have stumbled upon it and gone inside (Usually the homeless looking for a place to stay), were quick to leave.
