Seemingly endless worrying..., Tag Sera

Jordyn had spent the better part of the evening pacing the apartment. For once there wasn't music blaring from the speakers - more than likely because the only thing that she was even paying attention to at the moment was the news. 'Such an eventful night and Sera's phone is off...'

Of course she didn't want to think of the alternatives. Jordyn liked to think positively in a crisis, and the thought of her love being crushed by rubble from the exploding building, or exploded at Montmayne, or worse, running into the recently escaped Eleanor shafer was just too much. Still, she didn't know how much longer she would be able to contain herself from completely panicking and doing something incredibly stupid.

Sera pulled her black Koenigsegg CCXR up to the front of the apartment building. She didn't wait for the valet to open the door. She threw it open in her fury and stepped out of the car, not noticing she had pegged the valet in the thigh with the door handle.

"Good evening, Doctor Michaels," he said through the wince of pain.

She returned his greeting with a glare and spoke low, her voice full of rage. "There is nothing good about tonight, Edward."

She walked past him to the elevator and waited impatiently in the lobby. She just wanted to get back to her penthouse and relax. Between the fuck up with Nimbus and the lab being destroyed by that fucking son of a bitch, Matt Sheehan, her night was ruined. Not even the deaths she caused were enough to break her mood.

Several moments later, she was turning the key to the penthouse. The doors slid open and she dropped her briefcase on the floor. She leaned back against the wall sighed heavily. Until she saw Jordyn. Pacing like a animal about to destroy something, her better half looked wonderful even in her foul mood. Then again, Jordyn away looked adorable when she was pissed off at the world.

Sera pushed off the wall and kicked off her heels, walking toward Jordyn. She stopped just in front of her and smiled as best she could before leaning in to place a small kiss on Jordyn's perfect lips. Pulling back, she ran a hand over the woman's cheek. "I thought you weren't coming over tonight, Bella, working late at the asylum."

Sera wondered just what had Jordyn so aggitated and upset.

For a bit Jordyn couldn't remember what she was so upset about. Even just being in the same room with Sera was enough to stop her train of thought cold - something about the woman's angelic beauty made her stop thinking immediately. Though, mention of the asylum brought all that anxiety right back to the front of her mind.

Jordyn gestured to the tv, trying to calm herself down now that Sera was obviously not crushed or charred or whatever the fuck could have come from Eleanor. "I was going to be at the asylum all night, but then I found out one of the patients just... walked out somehow. And I really don't think she likes me at all so I was worried she'd try to go after you and then when I tried to call you and your phone was off and I started freaking out." Jordyn paused to breathe for a couple seconds, the light tint in her cheeks fading a bit.

"And then I came here and you weren't here either and then I found out that there was an explosion or something at your building and that's when I really started to worry. Then some other building blew up and it seemed very clear to me that this was a really bad night and something might have happened to you so I stayed here and then you showed up and have I mentioned you look beautiful tonight, mi amor?" she finished finally. After a moment of reflecting she realized she had been rambling and blushed in embarassment lightly.

Sera hid her anger of the night well. Jordyn was obviously distressed and that only added to her own personal displeasure. She hated seeing her love upset. Not to mention, Sera was already angry enough. She could feel her pets itching to take care of whatever had Jordyn upset.

She leaned down, meeting Jordyn's eyes with a tender smile to give the impression of complete calm. "Sssh, Bella. It's okay. See? Everything's fine. It was just a long board meeting. That's all. Not injuries or anything despite the explosion. Just a long damn day."

She took Jordyn's hand and walked toward the small bar area of the penthouse. She opened the small refridgerator and pulled out a bottle of Domaine de la Romanee - Conti Richebourg. She looked at the year and sighed. 2003, a good year. She grabbed two glasses and smiled, uncorking the bottle with relative ease. She poured half a glass in each and walked toward Jordyn. She offered her a glass and smiled.

"Oh come on, Jor," she said with a pout on her lips. "Don't make me waste $16,000 dollars here. Have a drink with me."

Jordyn couldn't very well resist Sera's offer - not when she used one of those incredibly adorable pouts. She gently took the proffered glass and placed a lingering kiss on Sera's lips. "I'm sorry I just dropped in unannounced like this..."

Jordyn leaned against the wall with a sigh, swirling her glass before taking a sip. "I just had to know you were alright," she offered with a sheepish smile. "And now you just seem... tense," she added, looking Sera over more closely. "Should I go? I feel like I'm not helping with the whole... calming down thing."

Sera sipped from her glass and smiled gently at her lover. Always so worried about Sera's well being. There were times over the course of their relationship, more so recently, that Sera wish Jordyn could know that she was more than capable of taking care of herself. She could and would protect Jordyn from anything that could possibly be through at them. And Sera knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that Nimbus would betray her. All villians have their own agenda.

But for the time, being on Nimbus' side didn't mean her or her lover were protected. It just meant that her "partner" would assist her in any revenge she had planned. Athena and Nimbus worked well together. Nimbus relished in pain. And Sera? She relished in death. One brought the other. Or some would hope.

Still, Jordyn was right. Tonight's events did have her stressed. With Matthew Sheehan in the hands of the heroes, her complex in ruins, Sera was a bit agitated. None of it, however, was directed at her Bella.

She set down her glass and walked calmly toward Jordyn. Using her thumb and forefinger she lifted Jordyn's chin and smiled. "Bella, please. Don't be silly," Sera told her. Slowly, she brushed her lips over her lover's, a soft, lingering kiss. "I want you to say with me."

Jordyn let a slow grin spread over her face, head tilting slightly so that her bangs fell into her eyes, an unconscious habit that only really occured when Sera was in question. Victoria often - in mild disgust over romance and the like - called it her 'Sera face.' But she didn't need to be thinking about Victoria right now - thinking about her led to all sorts of meta-related badness, and right now all she wanted to focus on was that Sera was fine. Not so much as a scratch, even, which she was unbelievably thankful for.

Jordyn made a point to avoid the area of town where Sera's business was, just so she wouldn't accidentally bring the building down. She had surprised herself when she didn't immediately don her costume and hunt down the bastard who had reportedly blown Montmayne to hell, but she needed to know if Sera was alright first. 'Later... I'll find him later' she promised herself mentally. She jerked her head quickly to the side so her bangs would cooperate for the moment.

Jordyn set her drink down and placed her hands on Sera's hips. She leaned forward and playfully kissed Sera on the cheek, then said softly in her ear, "Your wish is my command. I'll stay as long as you like, amor. Would you like to vent about your day? Or would you prefer to... slip into something more comfortable and try to relax a bit?" She nipped at Sera's neck teasingly with her teeth, still grinning.

Sera smiled sweetly as Jordyn leaned into her. The small shivers that traveled over her were all to familiar. Even on her worst days, Jordyn could always make her forget that she was angry. Not many people knew who much of a weakness Jordyn was for her and she liked it that way. It was easier to protect her Bella that way. Not one person would ever threaten her lover. Nimbus would burn if he ever thought to look in her direction.

Sera watched her Bella lean in and grinned as she kissed her cheek. It was a small gestured but one that Sera loved. "Your wish is my command. I'll stay as long as you like, amour. Would you like to vent about your day? Or would you prefer to... slip into something more comfortable and try to relax a bit?" She nipped at Sera's neck teasingly with her teeth, still grinning.

She let out a soft moan as she tilted her head away from her Bella, exposing more of the skin on her neck. This time goosebumps appeared and Sera stepped closer, pressing herself completely against her lover. "You, my dear Bella, have a delicious mind," she said as she brushed her lips over Jordyn's shoulder. "Come on. Something more comfortable it is, my love."

'Yay, something more comfortable!' Jordyn cheered mentally. It was all she could do, really, with Sera pressed against her like she was. It was a situation that tended to make her head foggy, but not in a sedated after surgery way - the good kind of foggy.

Jordyn bit down again as Sera exposed more of her neck to her, working her way towards her jaw, then towards her lips. When she reached them, Jordyn caught Sera's bottom lip between her teeth and tugged playfully before kissing her heatedly. "I think you're the one who's delicious," Jordyn said in a purr before kissing her again.
