Power: Density manipulation. Rick has the ability to increase or decrease the natural density of an object and/or one's self, meaning he can go through or have other objects go through walls, floors or any other solid objects. Same thing applies to liquids, which he can bring solid. The only density he cannot control is when an element reached the gas phase such as oxygen and vapor. His power works in approximately a 20 feet range and he can control it with his mind, he doesn't need to have a contact with the intended surface. However, he needs both his hands pointed at the object to control its density.

Appearance: Rick is relatively tall, heights around 6' but never actually measured, he never really cared to know because it wouldn't change anything to him anyway. He has dark brown hair which he usually keeps short and good looking. He also usually keeps a little facial hair as he finds it makes him look more serious for his line of work... and also because woman often told him he looked gorgeous that way. He has deep brown eyes, kind of eyes you get lost in for starring at for too long.

Rick usually dresses casually when outside of duty, but since he's in duty more often than not, he's usually wearing his officer's outfit. He does a lot of weight training and cardio to keep his shape and he has the body that goes along with his training. Rick usually has a sweet facial expression which makes him loved by most people he encounters. The only moments in which his face hardens beyond recognition is when he's going after criminals or metas. He has sort of a hard biker look, probably due to the fact he owns two, but doesn't go by the "biker guy" personality either.

Personality: Rick was the class clown in High School and apparently, that haven't changed much ever since. When at work, he's incredibly silly and usually uses his humor to calm down the atmosphere in a stressful moment. However, when times is serious, he can be serious and knows when to stop his foolishness. The best example is that his hard work and his devotion got him where he is now, at the head of a division in the Alexandria Police Department.

In his more personal life, he is the kind of guy to try and impress woman, especially with his humor but also because of his good look- and he knows he is good looking. Some people might find him vain but it's mostly because of his great self-confidence. When people get to know him, they discover a side of him which is caring, sweet and tender, even though he tries to hide it when he's surrounded by fellow men. He cares a lot about what people think of him.

While many girls seem to be attracted by him, he's never been able to find someone which he could share his life with, he has on and off relationships and doesn't take the time to discover true love while he's way too concentrated on getting his work done and making sure the city is "evil-free" as he likes to call it. His hard work is as much a quality and a weakness to him, depending on which way he sees it.

History: Richard is born in Alexandria when he lived for his whole life. He is the son of a middle class family. Both his parents own a small café in the city which had been well running since it's opening may years ago. He is their only son, however, his mother had been pregnant with a girl when he was three years old but had unfortunately miscarried before she could give birth. Strangely, it was quite far in Rick's mind but he could still remember the sadness in his parents' face and it had kept haunting him even until now. The doctor had told his mother it would be too risky to try and have another baby and they had to give up on trying to give Rick a sibling.

However, Rick still managed to make a lot of friends and run a happy child life. Always willing to try everything he was proposed, he wasn't quite relaxing for his parents but they let him live his experiences from which he learned many valuable lessons. Even though he liked to act boyish and tough even at a young age, he's always managed to have good grades in school and was one of the best students, even through high school.

We went to college for a year to study history but he realized it definitely wasn't what he needed to find his fulfillment in life and decided to quit and apply for a police academy. This hard training made him more than excited about his upcoming future as a law enforcement officer and that's when he knew he had found his true path.

Once he was out of the academy, he went back to work in Alexandria where the crime rate and inexplicable activities have gone up incredibly fast in the past years. They were definitely in need for more police officers. He had been told "heroes" were also helping the PD out for what Rick called supernatural cases, at first not believing in those meta-humans powers. He had never seen any of them use it in front of his eyes and had swore he wouldn't believe until he'd witness.

Ironically, only a year after he had started working as a police officer as a full time job, he was 25 by then, he was caught up on a case where hostages had been taken and held in a house. All the doors had been locked and the officers on the spot were afraid the criminals would kill the hostages if they tried to intervene in any way. Rick was desperate to get it and while he slammed his fist into the side wall of the house in anger, the brick didn't stop his motion and his arm went through it easily. Looking around himself, wondering if anyone else had seen it, he tried it again only to realize he hadn't been dreaming. He had then managed to get his whole body through and sneak in the room where the hostages were held to rescue them and arrest the criminals.

After this moment, he made everything he could to find the other metas he had been told about until he managed to get a hold on the Guild, which he soon joined and had been a member since. He managed to get a good hold on his power and now know how to control it and use it almost perfectly.
