YOU THOUGHT YOU WERE SAFE AND SOUND
but you need a hero now
Full Name: Stephany Amelia Blake
Power: Power to become invisible as she wishes. As soon as she concentrates for a few seconds and clears her mind, her body and everything she touches becomes imperceptible to anyone's eyes except her own. The down side is that it takes a little while for her power to work, hence why she can't become perfectly invisible in a sudden fight due to a lack of concentration from her part. She may be able to disappear slightly in these situations, however, but her body edges will still be perceptible, only harder to see.
The only ways she can become visible again is through her own will, a sudden injury (whether it is a blow or a cut) or being exposed to the cold, which she cannot feel.
Occupation: Journalistic Photographer
WHERE'S THE STREET WISE HERCULES
to fight the rising odds
Appearance: Even if she is only 5'3'' tall, Stephany has a high posture which lets presume a great self-confidence. She has mid-long brown hair that fall right below her shoulders that matches with her dark brown eyes. She has a pale skin but doesn't feel the need to accentuate it with make-up. Actually, she barely wears any except for mascara and a thin black line right underneath her eyes.
She has a slender body, quite athletic due to the fact that she trains for it a lot during her free time. She likes wearing loose pants and tight tops to show her shapes, and she just considers the contrast between her tops and bottoms like a mark of her personality. However, she does like to look sexy every once in a while, when she craves for company.
Defining marks: A tattoo behind the neck and on her wrist.
Play By: Alyssa Milano
I CAN'T DO THIS ALL ON MY OWN
no I know I'm no Superman
Personality: Cocky and sarcastic are probably the two words that describe Stephany the best. She has great self-confidence - according to some people she has too much - and a lot of pride that gets easily hurt when someone shows him/herself better than she is. She gets jealous quite easily.
Stephany loves being right and fighting (sometimes litterally) until she proves her point. She loves to be in charge and have things go her way.She is not the type of person to go 10 different ways to tell what she think, she's usually quite straight to the point, even though people sometimes consider her as rude. She likes to show she's not afraid of anything and that being a woman doesn't change her toughness and doesn't make her less of a person.
However, Stephany is always calm and she highly cares for people she loves, especially her older brother who had always been there for her. She is also a devoted photographer as it has been her passion for as far as she can remember. Stephany also likes to have fun and laugh, even though sometimes it sounds more like an evil snicker.

History: Stephany was born in a more than normal family, the second and last child of Louisa, an accountant, and Jeffrey, a restaurant manager. Her big brother, Brian, who is two years her elder, had always been a role model for her even though he was a guy. He wasn't the most peaceful child in the neighborhood, hence why she had learned boyish pranks quite early in her childhood, following her brother everywhere he went. For Brian and his friends, she was always the girl they needed to protect and the siblings had the exact same relationship ever since.
Their parents, more than happy to see them both loving each other so much, had nothing to worry about while they were playing along. They lived the perfect suburban life, a happy and united family... Until the worst happened.
At age 11, as Stephany came back from school, she found her house surrounded by police officers and firemen, finishing watering their house down to stop the last flames from cracking. Brian was sitting on the sidewalk and the only look they exchanged confirmed her thought. Their parents had been trapped in the fire and had died. The family was broken, all of her happy memories had burned down along with the house and she had only her brother left.
Both children were sent to their aunts house. At school, Stephany wanted to hide as she had been labelled the-girl-who's-lost-her-parents-and-whose-house-burned. She wanted to stop people from giving her the sorrow look or the mocking look, she wanted to disappear, which she did, literally. Leaned back on her locker, she concentrated so hard not to be seen that at some point, she realized that people couldn't see her at all. That was when she first discovered her power.
She told her brother and he helped her practice it for a few years to master it. Her teenage was hard with no parents but she passed all of her frustration and her sadness through her invisibility and through pranks as they became bigger, until she stole all the money from a convenience store with the help of her brother. It was so much easier if no one could see you. She gained great self-confidence over the years after she could overcome the tragic events of her past.
Once in college, she did a major in photography and a minor in literature, even though she couldn't care less about the latter. She became a journalistic photographer, which she still does a her day job in a small newspaper company. She still keeps in touch with her brother who she loves more than anyone else, and works at night to avenge her tough past and put as much chaos as she can bare into the city to rip those smiles off of happy united families she envies so much.

Member Title: Nothing more than an Aura
Roleplay Sample: Stephany got out of her apartment into the fresh air of the city. Before taking any steps down the staircase, she glanced around herself. It was nearly 3 in the morning and the streets were surprisingly empty. There was usually a person or two walking by, either making a mess or fixing it. At that thought, a crooked smile appeared on her lips. This war between chaos and peace was not for her something she had to do rather than something that amused her. It was definitely what made their side so much easier to be on. They had no rules and they sure didn't care to be seen or not.
Finally taking a leap forward, she went down the four steps that separated her from the sidewalk and went left, out of pure instinct. Truth was that she was tired of being on her own at home and simply wanted to find some company, or some action, whichever would come first. It wasn't a mistake to say that she had always been looking for trouble, she actually enjoyed it.
As she felt a vibration in her jeans pocket, she reached for her phone and brought it over to her ear after flipping it open. "Hello?" she said into the mic, taking a few quick glances around to make sure no one could hear her conversation. She hated to be spied on.
"Her darling" came a male voice from the other line.
Quickly, Stephany's face brightened and her pace became slightly faster as she went on cheerfully. "Well isn't it my favorite brother?" she said in a teasing tone as she paused her walk on the front step of an unknown house, leaning back against the stone that served as the exterior wall. "Anything I can do for you?" she asked, her free hand playing in her hair.
"A little time to spend would do the trick."
Stephany smirked. For only one person would she change the whole world only to see his face for a brief moment and it was Brian. Her thoughts drifted over to all of the time they had spend together while growing up, all of the stupid things they had done and all of the love they had given each other. There was nothing in the world that could replace it. "Wherever you are, I'm on my way."
