BETRAYAL!

This is the only word that will describe future events in our fair city! Cast aside like a once beloved toy thats been grown out of, the Guild may be booted from their seat of power in Alexandria. How can this possibly happen, you may be asking yourself? Perhaps it is best to start at the beginning.

You see, there is a woman named Serania Michaels. To all outward appearances, she has it all - fame, power, money, and a killer figure to boot. However, it isn't enough to satisfy this certified genius, who also happens to be woefully insane - why does it always seem that the pretty ones are also completely batshit? But I digress... Getting back to the point, Sera's power comes from not only her position as CEO of Montmayne Engineering but also from her pyrokinetic ability.

Oh, did I forget to mention that she's a super villain? Yeah, that's kind of important.

Where was I? Oh yes, I remember now. A highly persuasive (completely psychotic) meta is in charge of a prosperous weapons research facility, and when the military gives said crazy woman several contracts, it's like giving her a green card to attempt to take over the world.

At her side is the man formerly known as Nick Stone but more famously known as Nimbus, supposed leader of all villains in Alexandria. Tragedy has turned this fire-fighting family man into a ruthless killer and his status as figurehead for villains has made him public enemy number one. Not bad for a 31 year old guy who, until a few months ago, had never so much as been in a drunken fistfight.

With Sera controlling behind the scenes and Nimbus raining terror down on Alexandria in the limelight, it's no wonder the Heroes Guild won't see the threat to their status as protectors until the plan is set in motion. What is the plan? Could the city possibly be stupid enough to evict the only people standing between them and total annihilation? That, as they say, is entirely up to you.

Alexandria is the perfect city. Clean, friendly, and extremely prosperous. This city is, was, and always will be the pinnacle of achievement. But things are changing in Alexandria, street by street, hour by hour, the city is being sucked into darkness. Entire blocks are succumbing to poverty, to disrepair, and no one will step up to fix it..

Appearance: Gale has sky blue eyes and wavy hair in the colour of a vivid auburn. She hates to be primmed-up and just basically walks into office with her hair in its natural state or if she's feeling neat, she'll just tie it up. Only being at 5"5', Gale has one sole addiction, which are high heels. She wears them whenever she can and will at least match her clothes to her shoes.

Because she's a journalist, Gale has to attend conferences and functions and although she'd love to just attend work in casual clothes but she has to at least look professional just a smidge. Compromising a little, her attire often crosses just right in the middle and she's left with a more acceptable casual smart.

Gale has also a silver bracelet which she has had for as long as she could remember. No matter where she is or what she's doing, she refuses to remove it as she believes it has something to do with her past.

Personality: Gale's calm at all times; even to the point that sometimes she gets too logical and forgets the emotional side of things. Most see her as emotionless and they're right as Gale has never been able to grasp the right kind of feeling at the right time. She had always pondered what laughter or tears really meant and none of it made sense to her. Although she an unusual control over her emotions but when pushed to the limits, she will lose her temper as well as her control over her powers.

History: Growing up in an orphange, it wasn't until she was nine when Gale was finally adopted by the Matthers family. Life with them had been good and at first, her foster parents found Gale's emotional state of calmness a little peculiar, but learnt to accept and love everything else about her that came with it. Then, at the age of 22, and after graduating from college, Gale decided to go out and find her place in the world; where with the reluctant blessings of her family, she left.

Finally, after staying at a city nearby for nearly two years, she recently moved to Alexandria after securing a job as a free-lance reporter for the local newspaper.

Her powers are closely tied to her emotions and fortunately, she doesn't get too emotional too often. However, she also has no idea she has powers and chalks up to the off and on weird behavious of the wind to just... odd weather.

Anything Else? Gale's parents were actually heroes in Alexandria until they were murdered by an unknown assasin when she was a baby. In order to protect her, one of the past heroes of Alexandria had sent her to an orphanage far from the city in order to hide her.
