Full Name: Nicholas Robert Stone
Alias: Nimbus
Age: 31
Power: Nick's powers revolve around all things light. He can travel through light/electricity, if the wattage is right. (IE, disappearing into one flash of a strobelight and reappearing in a street light somewhere else - doesn't work with natural light.) Nick can produce lightning from his body, generally in the shape of spheres of electricity.
If pressed, he can 'plug himself' directly into a large source of electricity (IE - neon signs, generators, powerlines) to speed up his healing process. (This process causes his eyes to glow blue-white and his skin to temporarily become more tanned than usual. He is also more agressive following the 'healing,' and has trouble thinking logically.)
He doesn't do well when sprayed with a lot of water. It makes him sluggish, and he looses control of some of his electricity. To spray him with water is dangerous, as said electricity can zap you if you're not careful.

Appearance: Nick stands at 6 feet tall, even. His build is strong from years of being a firefighter, but he's by no means overly muscular. Nick appears to be a fairly average guy, just in great shape.
His eyes are a vivid blue color, the kind you can usually only get with contacts. His hair is somewhere between short and medium length. Naturally it's a brown color, but he's always liked adding blonde highlights to it. Sometimes he spikes his hair into a fauxhawk as well. Nick occasionally lets his facial hair grow out into a stubbly mustache and around his chin as well.

Personality: Nick is cold, nearly void of emotions. He's felt a lot of pain because of Alexandria, and most of the time it's left him numb. Other times, he's a raging beast of a man.
There are moments when he can look fondly upon his past, crack a small, sad smile. But the moments are far and few between. Nick would rather destroy Alexandria on his own to eliminate the chances of getting close to someone, but he's got enough brains to know it would be impossible to achieve alone.

History: Tragedy has a way of changing a man. Nick was, just months ago, a very happy man. His family was his whole world, and his job was one which gave him the respect of the people around him. Then one night, without warning, it was all taken away from him.
The bullets had struck his home just as the family was sitting to dinner - his son was killed almost instantly when he was hit. His wife, Mary, was halfway between sitting down and standing when she was hit twice in the back - Nick received three rounds himself, diving to shield his son without realizing it was too late. He'd had to look into Mary's eyes as she bled out. Shortly after, his world had gone black as well.
Nick awoke in a hospital bed days later, healing from the surgery. Detectives were waiting - they had a hard time explaining what had transpired, but replied bluntly that lengthy police chase had rounded his block, and the criminals and officers were open firing on each other. Nick had waited for them to finish speaking, growing more enraged as they went on. When they finally came clean and stated that it was the officer's rounds that had killed his family, a power inside of Nick that had been lying dormant for years awoke. After trashing the hospital room and killing the detectives, Nick simply stared down at the electricity rolling around his fingertips and made a decision.
Nick would punish the rest of Alexandria, until everyone felt the pain he does, until every person knows loss like he does.
