BETRAYAL!

This is the only word that will describe future events in our fair city! Cast aside like a once beloved toy thats been grown out of, the Guild may be booted from their seat of power in Alexandria. How can this possibly happen, you may be asking yourself? Perhaps it is best to start at the beginning.

You see, there is a woman named Serania Michaels. To all outward appearances, she has it all - fame, power, money, and a killer figure to boot. However, it isn't enough to satisfy this certified genius, who also happens to be woefully insane - why does it always seem that the pretty ones are also completely batshit? But I digress... Getting back to the point, Sera's power comes from not only her position as CEO of Montmayne Engineering but also from her pyrokinetic ability.

Oh, did I forget to mention that she's a super villain? Yeah, that's kind of important.

Where was I? Oh yes, I remember now. A highly persuasive (completely psychotic) meta is in charge of a prosperous weapons research facility, and when the military gives said crazy woman several contracts, it's like giving her a green card to attempt to take over the world.

At her side is the man formerly known as Nick Stone but more famously known as Nimbus, supposed leader of all villains in Alexandria. Tragedy has turned this fire-fighting family man into a ruthless killer and his status as figurehead for villains has made him public enemy number one. Not bad for a 31 year old guy who, until a few months ago, had never so much as been in a drunken fistfight.

With Sera controlling behind the scenes and Nimbus raining terror down on Alexandria in the limelight, it's no wonder the Heroes Guild won't see the threat to their status as protectors until the plan is set in motion. What is the plan? Could the city possibly be stupid enough to evict the only people standing between them and total annihilation? That, as they say, is entirely up to you.

Setting

Alexandria is the perfect city. Clean, friendly, and extremely prosperous. This city is, was, and always will be the pinnacle of achievement. But things are changing in Alexandria, street by street, hour by hour, the city is being sucked into darkness. Entire blocks are succumbing to poverty, to disrepair, and no one will step up to fix it..

If she can't hear something, though - if she were deaf or if it were just too quiet - she has a tendency to freak out and lose control of her powers. It can get messy. She has long, straight black hair that she often leaves down. Jordyn has dark brown eyes, and an open smile that often can put people at ease, or at the very least underestimate her abilities. Jordyn is in shape - slender, but not all that strong. She often wears casual, form fitting clothes. At work it's no different, preferring business casual suits to a uniform of some kind. She almost always wears the corset or one similar, and the mask is always around too. The rest of the outfit and accessories change depending on her mood - sometimes she'll wear studded leather bracelets and torn jeans, other times she'll wear dress pants, a tank top and suspenders. Also, she always carries a flute around with her, and more often than not it's this one. Play By: Jordana Brewster I CAN'T DO THIS ALL ON MY OWN no I know I'm no Superman Personality: Jordyn is easygoing, quicker to flash a smile than be tempted into starting a fight. However, Jordyn is also relentless when it comes to vengeance or getting something she wants. If you cross her, be prepared to pay dearly for that mistake. If she likes you, though, she's a very loyal ally to have on your side, and more than generous with her growing fortune. Jordyn is very picky, likely to go through dozens of choices before deciding on one she likes, and is just as likely to throw out the idea a couple days later. She was born into a family with a seemingly unending supply of money, which didn't help to curb this character flaw in the least. In the past Jordyn was something of a 'player,' though gave that up shortly after meeting Serania. She is a criminal because she's bored, not out of any real sense of revenge (unless she feels slighted and vandalism seems like a idea). The only line she doesn't cross when going on her sprees is murder - sure, people might die if they're in the wrong place at the wrong time, but she never deliberately sets out to kill people. Jordyn feels that if she became a mass murderer she wouldn't be any different than the people in her asylum. Growing up rich hardly affected her, except in the obvious ways. She never had many real friends growing up, and Jordyn's spending ways often got in the way of real friendships. When Jordyn graduated the all girl private school she'd been to her whole life at the age of 16, her parents bought her a BMW. She traded it in for a Lamborghini not even a week later. When she graduated college at the top of her psychology program, her parents bought her a penthouse suite in one of the most exclusive apartment complexes in Alexandria. Two days later she bought the deed to the abandoned insane asylum using the well invested allowance she'd received over the years from her parents. The asylum had fallen into disrepair, and so there was a year or so of just construction. During the repair phase they discovered a false wall in her office which led to a secret room below Jordyn's office that she now uses to house her costumes and can use as an escape route. It should be mentioned that during her first tour in college she was roommate to Victoria Clarkson, who would later become Nyx. After Jordyn revealed the room and mentioned that she hadn't found it, had actually made people work to finish it up, Victoria 'took care' of them without Jordyn's knowing. After some time she realized that in order to really make the asylum legitimate, she'd have to be able to prescribe medicines, or hire someone who could. Instead of relying onsomeone else, she decided to go back to school and earn her psychiatry degree, which she also go through quickly. In fact, college was the only period in her life where she actually worked hard at what she does - these days she just dumps most of the paper work off on her interns. This fact hasn't stopped her from being recognized as something of a prodigy in the field, or from being published in dozens of journals. Now, at just 27, she is wealthy on her own, with several successful practices in town along with the asylum. But, as they say, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Jordyn is determined to become a much bigger influence in Alexandria than she currently, and has been looking to turn to crime to accomplish this.
