I am almost overwhelmed with joy to be able to say that one of my favourite bands in the history of the world, ever, namely Silver Sun, are pencilled in to play Bristol Louisiana on March 10. That's a) a Saturday, and B) walking distance from my flat.

For the many Bristol-types that read this, attendance is mandatory.

Now all I need is other bands who share that personal accolade to come to Bristol at their earliest convenience!

Will they be coming round my way Damo? might go and have a look :P

Not sure. They don't tour too much these days because of geographical issues (one lives in Bath, three in London) and the fact that they're all working too. Although they're still trying to make up for lost time and release an album a year from here on in. There was one last year and one just released this year.

I'll keep my eyes peeled, though.

If you are within range of Bristol and love pop music, you owe it to yourself. It's 110 capacity in there and I've bought six of the tickets myself...
