I've just treated myself to the recently released DVD of Blind Faith at Hyde Park circa 1969.
 Any crowd scenes will intensely scrutinised for sightings of your correspondent, as a callow 16 year old  As i remember it, my dear old Dad (Gawd rest his soul!!) withheld parental permission, neccessitating the formation of an escape committee.... of one! My subsequent disappearrance led to an article and a photo in the local paper(Evening Argus) which included the following quote! "Steven is believed to be with a wandering band of hippies"  I shall rport back soon...... Now, where's that magnifying glass? |
